You're absolutely right, I hadn't noticed I was mixing his last name and first name. I've now fixed it. |

Anything in specific? I worked through most of the logic when I tried to decipher most of the weird technical terms.
Though you really don't need to know more then, "it's just technobabble trying to hand-wave the fact that the author is trying to wrap 'magic' as 'technology'" really. >.> Not much we can do if the Japanese use the same character for blue and green. The relevant line: 若葉のように淡い碧色の瞳 若葉 new leaves 淡い light/faint/pale 碧(あお)色(いろ) blue(green) colour (the two characters as one word can mean 'emerald' but the furigana deliberately indicates the Japanese 'blue or green' colour) 瞳 eye I couldn't find any good way of rewriting it since they explicitly reference the colour of 'new leaves', so I just assumed she had blue/green eyes like I have (depending upon light sources they have different colours) and left it as is. If you check the front cover though you'll see her eyes seemed to be coloured both blue and aqua anyway so it kind of works... Though now that I think about it, it could use a footnote. |
