Cheap In Japan
Are there any discount online stores in Japan. You know like DVDPacific or DeepDiscountDVD. I am moving to Japan, and I was wondering if there are any cheaper places to buy DVDs and CDs for cheaper then retail prices. Even amazon Japan sells a lot of CD at their retail value.

I was wondering if anybody knows a way to buy songs and download them straight to my hard-drive, meaning avoiding the hassle of shipping each CD I buy over seas.
There's quite a large list of reasons why I want to download straight to my computer through legit reasons, and I've heard of many ways. Many of them involve Itunes though, by changing my region of my itunes account and then buying Japanese itunes yen cards to add to my account, however I was wondering if there's another japanese based website in which I could purchase the music for download directly to my HD? Itunes is out of the question ONLY because I like to use other music players (such as Winamp) which means that any music I buy using Itunes can only be played on itunes / ipod. Obviously only LEGIT PAID FOR DOWNLOAD sites are what I want. I can't stress that enough!

Please help me find
I've been looking for the Key 10th memorial score released sometime febuary of this year. I've looked all over google, this forum, and various other, and I can't find any threads pertaining to this album. Can anyone please direct me as to where I can purchase or even listen to a few tracks from this album? Thank you

Reliable Japanese online movie/drama
I usually buy my Japanese CD's here:
http://www.japanchord.com/yesasia.html I bought a few movies, dramas, and music cd's already and I had a good experience with them. They include free international shipping also. Check it out. |

Well, I'm not sure, but you could buy a Japanese iTunes gift card off J-Box/List and buy it off iTunes if you set your iTunes to Japan. I'm not sure about song selection though. But it could be somewhat cheaper than imports, although you wouldn't get the actual CD.

La Corda d'Oro Primo Passo - Ave Maria Violin Duet by Franz Schubert
Hi!
For the past 2 years I've been trying to find the sheet music for this gorgeous piece, but I haven't managed to find it, it's driving me absolutely insane! I've found several transcriptions but they all have parts that sound different from the original and I lack the knowledge/skill to properly transcribe it by myself. Does anyone know an official site or something where I can buy the exact same sheet music that was used in this anime? It would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks |

Can someone tell me more about the distribution model for 'doujin music'?
Music that gets released at conventions such as comiket. I guess you would have to go there to buy it. But what about afterwards? I see a lot of this music circling over the same channels as the usual fansubs. Is this piracy, or do the creators freely share it? How would one go about aquiring these albums? |

Legally speaking, distribution of content without permission of the original owner/creator is piracy, regardless of whether it is doujin work or not. So 99% of the time the circulation of doujin music is technically piracy as well with the 1% is those times where the owner did share that one piece on their own website etc.

Hi guys. I usually get my music from http://www.cdjapan.co.jp and yesasia.com, although I prefer CD Japan because the items are cheaper than Yesasia.
Other options would be Amazon.co.jp and Rakuten.co.jp if you can read Japanese. Rakuten.com is also good. But lately, I get a lot of out of print music CDs and concert DVDs from Ebay |
