Shion would probably have some problem with the Shotgun, as the recoil might be a big burden on her. Supporting Kasai with the Kalashnikov is also another positive point (Speed and Range). Basically, they combined the weapons, so they are more efficient. Quote:
Second, they completely ignore who is Akasaka, they could only see a strange man running like crazy from Rika's house. Considering he was alone, they can't exactly know his skills and such. Finally, not only the Yamainu doesn't seem to have large ressource of firearm, but they are outside, in brightday. Much like the bomb issue, the use of firearms is too risky, as the gunfire might draw the attention of the police. Another problem would be the fact that in the midst of the chaos, they can actually shoot Rika in the same process. A stray bullet can be reality and such risk for their operation is basically out of question. Even if they were/are armed, they can't use any firearms against Akasaka considering the situation.

The hostage scene was brilliant. Tense, dramatic, one of the best scenes in the series so far. Really, just outstanding.
And then followed by Akasaka kicking ass and redefining the word "GAR". Wow. Brilliant ep. Edit: Quote:

This episode was on par with ep. 5 and 13 in terms of awesomeness. The feeling and tension was done perfectly without being over-the-top. I really felt a rush of desperation when the others were all trapped inside the hole. And Takano's smug smirk and evil laughter is making me hate her more and more.
Beating the dead horse once again, Akaksaka totally owned. Oh, and what did Rika mean by calling the Yaimanu Peons? |

^i can read the "give fees" part, otherwise I dont know
Pretty nice ep, though the Akasaka fighting part needs a lot of work, just looks way too fake, otherwise, I'm so anticipating the next one 9/10

Ahh, who would have thought Akasaka was so strong. I expected Tomitake to have that role. But ahh, my heart was pounding when I saw Akasaka like that. Just so cool!
Doesn't it mean "How much is the cost?" or something like that |

These guys were at the bottom of their organization's chain of command. She was insulting their low rank.
You need to register on the site. Here's a set of instructions on doing that. It's from a short extra that was included in the DVD containing episodes 5 and 6 of Kai. |
