Ugh... never did like Noto playing male characters ever since FMP. Repeat failure in F/Sn, and no surprises she ain't doing well here as well. At least Kawasumi is making it bearable.
That said, I like this show better than the other show with a shota main character (mamoru-kun something or other). Dunno if that means a lot, though, since there's very little shown so far that would keep me interested. Oh well, obligatory 3 eps for me.

There are people saying (I actually agree...) that the only way to enjoy this show is to shut off the screen only listening to the voices and sounds and pretend it to be a yuri-love drama.
And Kawasumi x Noto does make it a nice yuri-love combo.... |

as this show is under the "MFI Production", dont mention any "group names", its a forbidden word unless the show is NOT "MFI Production" with that said, im glad a "certain group" is willing to do this show regarding how ecchi its going to get. This will be one i will be following. and thanks Kaoru Chujo for the reference to the wallpaper. looks very ...exotic edit: thanks for heads up Slice of Life. Be careful with quotes. Now the powers that be will have to edit two posts ...
Hmmm. The fruit of nonconsensual sex between Rosario to Vampire and Spice and Wolf? The show surely takes no prisoners on the ecchi front. Every now and then such a show appeals to me but this is none of those. It's on top of my drop list so far, even before the two Gonzo shows. The shotakon element is really a turn-off.

Well, although I am not a big fan of this series... I have to point out that Chizuru is not a Shotakon. She loves Kouta because of his smell...

Just as soon as Kimiaru finishes up we have a nice piece of ecchi to thankfully fill in...And all I can say to that is bring it on.
I'm sure alot of people won't care for the show, but I sure did have fun watching it...The "romance" was abit abrupt, but I think both VA's did an extremely good job of making each others emotions felt by the end(Mamiko ). I fully dont expect any kind of real plot to develop and aslong as they keep being ballsy about what they show and not wussing out ill be perfectly content to watch 11 more episodes like the first one.

After having finish watching episode 1, I must say this series is doing well for its ecchiness part, it really did things openly where Chizuru is taking the initiatives on Kouta.
I was abit confuse near the end where they talk how that building blew up but it makes sense that the beginning is just a few days/week after the incident and that the ending is just refering to how the incident happen. This series reminds me of: Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!. Although that show is about Beatrix powers, this one has the "Wolf and Spice" + Ecchiness-Romance in it which I find pretty amusing. I'd give this show a go to those of you who likes the ecchi-romance-comedy genre, this episode at the end is what i find abit shocking lol i didnt expect they're going to do "it" it gives me the "omg what are they going to do after Chizuru nails Kouta down"!? idea |

^^^ very agree'd. This show reminds me too much of Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! As much as i want to watch this until the end and enjoy it, i don't think i can. Unless they come up with something that can interest the audience beyond that of previously said anime.
I found Noto's voice to sometimes work. But all the times Oyamada talk to himself/thinks Noto reverts back to her old anime-voicing style, which i really don't like. After watching the first episode, there's a few things i gotta point out. I'm not especially bad at watching visual ques, but i didn't realize that was a flashback until i read it here. Just thought they made another hole 2)shouta, hm..... can't say much about that since it's the artist's choice. personally i'd go with someone of equal hieght. 3)Sex on the first episode? awsome props for that 4) to tell the truth chizuru kinda scares me..... BTW what does the title mean? it sounds like a pun to me, but i dunno where that pun comes from. Can anyone explain? |

I skimmed episode 1 and it seems pretty weak. I used to read the manga but I'm kind of losing interest in that.
I didn't like the animation style/quality in the first episode either, I'll probably do the usual first episode drop and stay with the manga.

Basically, it refers to her (Chizuru) making the "kon" sound.

hmmm
they took out the sister complex, making him instead attracted to the class rep. they also skipped over the siblings' actual age holey flashback, batman! only novel and manga readers can sort this out in one go implied sex on the first episode! me like where this anime is going...is this a trend? |

@Asrialys i'm gonna take a wild guess and say that in olden days, ppl use to put bells on (wild) foxes, so the farmers know when foxes were coming or the bell would scare the chicken or w/e. And the bells sounds like a cow bell and thus making the kon sound?? lol vivid imagination ftw!!
@Sin Ansem same here. All i hear is Nodoka (sp?) Anyway i've never read the manga, but am i correct in saying that the first episode basically covered the first 2 volumes or some rediculous ammount of stuff from the manga? Cuz i felt the anime was kinda fast. Or i guess it could be chizuru coming on too fast, i can't tell |

The main girl is a pretty slick talker.. in the beginning scene where she pushes Kouta into her chest, she begins to talk quite clearly.
Well you can see her mouth and it's not moving.. whoops. ^.^ I don't know about you guys.. but I personally cannot speak that clearly with my mouth wide open. |

Meh, I like Mamiko Noto's voice but not as a guy Kouta sounded.....how should I say it? gay? Well, he does look somewhat like a girl....sort of. First ep. was a blast IMO. Lots of fanservice courtesy of Ms. Horo wannabe Talk about expressing your love in an extreme and "good" way

Oh, and those other characters like that sharp-haired guy, big ugly guy, and little girl, as well as the twins never made such early appearances in the manga. For some reason, the anime felt like inserting these characters in the first episode.
