Stern the Destructor Levi the Slasher "Load" Dearche Leave it to Japan to give us this....which leaves me this question.... -_- which do the fans prefer? The fan translation titles: The Starlight Destroyer The Lightning Blade Assailant The Ruler of Darkness Or the official ones above? Knowing which ones the fans prefer may change the translations of the story routes now... Just as a note, the Japanese titles(The bigger Japanese part in mixed Kanji and hiragana, not the small katakana above them) that are in the pictures are the exact titles in the first game, however when literally translated does not match the 'official' names(the small katakana above) now given to us. It's like that odd stretch they're trying to do. Though one theory I have in mind when it comes to this is that each of the Materials seems to have three ways of identifying them. One, which Material they are based on letter, second is a title that is like a nickname, like "The Starlight Destroyer" and probably now what they are called if they were to talk to each other which may be the case probably...dunno though... Ah...well at least I want to know what the Florian sisters are up to. I sense new game only rivalries between Kirie and Fate, Amitie and Nanoha based on their combat roles. (but heck, I could be wrong)
Kirie Florian - based on picture focuses more on close range combat Amitie Florian - based on picture focuses more on mid to long range combat There's too much of a StrikerS reference coming from Amitie due to her dual wielding pistols like Teana. At least the website actually let's us know what their names are...only thing I somewhat appreciate. I still don't get the stretch they're doing with the Materials though...I understand that part of Japanese anime industry when dealing with particular references, mythical mostly from what I see, is good and all, but some of this will just go over our heads like with three Material's official names.... |

Obviously this is not what we need right now -_-#
And the website is spelling Material-S 'official' name like that on that picture as 'Stern'. And I've been to the website too and was curious as to why 'Stern.' Though someone mentioned 'Stern' being German for 'star' in the image thread. Though the possibility of references is high considering Japan's way of things. |

What the ****...?!
Stern? Levi? "Load" Dearche? Now when I read "Stern" for Material-S, I think of her wearing a very 'stern' face. Levi = Levi jeans, 'nuff said... And with Material-D, I keep saying Load Dutch....yeah... They ruined it..... I prefer them as Seikou, Rai and Yami... And how the **** do you pronounce Surtr and Dearche!!!??? @___@ EDIT: The only name I don't have a problem with is "Levi". Although in Japan, it would be "Revi" and now we have a Black Lagoon reference.... -_-;

L works just fine though. Levi/Revi. I prefer Revi, but that's just me. So, no, it's Seikou, Revi and Yami as far as I'm concerned.

You know the Japanese and their silly "R" and "L" thing... Which now makes me wonder about the "R" and "L" buttons on controllers...

Well, those are some fun new names to work with o.o yeah we kinda spoiled ourselves on the names we (tho not me) came up with. i'm not sure I was even going to use them in anything, but the characters are pretty neat.
Predator? Man, no idea.

Vita wears white panties like any pure and innocent loli would. Signum wears black, Fate and Levi technically don't wear "panties". Reinforce prefers to free style it because she likes the blessed wind. Hence she has a mystical censor block. |
