Surprisingly, /a/ (or at least the Oregairu fans there) has a positive reception of the new character designs. Yuichi Tanaka's style is still quite evident from the sketches, although we know that his character designs are decent given a polished work like in the Endymion movie.

Still, whether feel would give these new designs justice remains to be seen.

The similarity is really funny though.

I can't wait for season 2 though. I enjoyed season 1, and I heard the newer LN's (which I haven't read yet) have recently received some great reception...

Really hyped for this second season, back in 2013 this was one of the first animes i saw after my 3 years of not watching any of them, so this kinda bring some feelings

Waiiiit... Iroha is love, you know!! She even get her own original anime. Umm... it's called Hanasaku Iroha... I think..., well, just kidding.

As someone who think that Iroha was annoying before, but then growing to lover her after the story progessed... well, it's kinda sad hearing that. I hope your friend soon found Iroha's charm as he read the LN more.

Anyway, can't wait to see the 2nd season animated. With a perfect seiyuu that really fit with Iroha trait, this will be in my anticipated series list.
