Now the anime only watchers get to wonder for a week with the very same cliffhanger that manga readers were left with earlier during the serialisation. Going at a good pace with this episode covering 4 chapters. Continues to be a stellar adaptation of the manga (which just recently won Shogakukan Manga Awards' Best Shounen Manga).

So it was a tooth that got knocked out....damn. Oh well, I'm just glad to see Daichi's injury isn't too serious. Interesting match this week. We got some game mechanics again that includes receiving. I think Karasuno improved again.

This was probably one of my favorite episodes in the series. There may not have been much action, but it really delved into some psychological factors that are present in a lot of things, not just sports: inferiority, guilt, fear of failure, and it did it quite well.
I enjoyed it despite already knowing what was to come. Haikyuu's one of those series where the anime adaptation is much better than the manga. |

Episode 19:
Date Tech is such a funny team tbh, I hope they will be able to improve more in the future. Good matches overall. I really liked the body movements and the iron wall references with the triple block. First years' walls got shattered hard ...but I think they can rebuild it in the future. The flashbacks from Karasuno's team really hit hard imo. Everyone's just on their edge for the match. It's definitely their time to shine again and avenge the previous defeat.

Episode 21:
This episode was awesome, full of intense plays especially from that #16 Mad Dog. I'd say that Karasuno has a decent momentum for now but they need to really step up the game if they are shooting for the win. Yamaguchi to play next time? This should be interesting! Can't wait for the next episode.

Episode 22:
Pretty solid match, a good comeback for Karasuno this week. Now the match will be determined by the final round and I'm hyped for it. The music improved too imo especially in the second half of the episode. It's like what the players themselves mentioned, this is their most intense match yet. No understatement there.
