This show has a really weird time sense. All of last episode was devoted to a flashback as told by Seto x Solva and yet the way they treated it the pretty girl squad was only out of commission for a couple minutes. And then of course they just kind of disappear from the scene until Blade is all patched up.

Well this battle didn't turn out at all like I expected. I thought it would be:

Blade vs. Eve
Seto vs. Mio
Solva vs. Setsuna
Teruyama vs. Kuchinasi

I guess that would be too cliche even for Needless so they made it a free for all. Anyway I wonder what that talk about other people entering the Simeon building was.

That was Seto and Solva as explained. It was mentioned that security was late with the information because of their attack.

Another good episode full of action, well just what you expect form Needless. I cant believe Blade just got drilled like that that. Also Uchida is funny with his I don't want to find an ally, and then he remembers everything that Eve did to him and he starts fighting seriously. Well don't give up Yamada is all up too you to come up with a good strategy to pwn that black attraction chick.

By the way the best Needless girls are Riru and Seto.

And i'm amazed on how they can crack up a joke in an intense fighting...

is it just me or did they screw up the animation of eve puncturing adam. ie, it was shown she went through the body (which would mean the reinforcement would've done squat) and afterward when we see the damage it looks like everything is still relatively intact. or was it like that in the manga too

and how was what's his name, the fire dude able to block eve's drill with his forearms and take no damage (iirc the drill went through a concrete wall when she killed the magic kid - though im probably being too critical here)

actually it looks more like a 4 v 3, disc is pretty much useless offensively right? (im assuming her hidden cannons shown earlier were just a fan service gag?)

That's a weapon that she can use for surprise attack, surely not for a head to head, cause she has a weak body

Then just combine with Solva's magnetic world. Push it into the blast zone, that's how it is. This ep gave me a great deal on 'mindless anime battles', excluding Cruz's 'fight the way i can!' part.

And since when is Disc counted as one of the fighting 4??

Its Blade/Teruyama/Seto/Solva vs. Mio/Kuchinashi/Setsuna/Eve = 4v4

Blade just got drilled so its 4v(4-1=3) in favour of Simeon pretty girls squad.

well since Disk-chan serves as the team's hacker+medic+information bank+etc., she is the MOST valuable asset of the team after all & also the one that gave them the advantage since they met her e.g. the enemy's weakness, Black spot zones, downloading data, unlocking locked doors, disable security systems, etc.

so there is no reason of risking her by letting her go into some bone-crushing battle at the risk getting of herself destroyed in the process & so as the team's advatage (& HOPE) being lost in the end

also in the recent eps, she is treating Blade's injuries & at the same time providing data to her comrades on how to fight the enemy in the right way
so she's really busy doing her own job intead of helping fighting the enemy along side her comrades unless its a desperate action
(if only GRAMPS could do something to help her on how to fix Blade),

also about her weapon gimmicks & fighting style (whom fans hilariously dubbed "a trap attack"

) such as her Destroy Evolution cannons,

well since she seems to lack close-ranged combat skills as with most other Needless, she somehow is more focused in long-ranged type combat skills, by using her cannons to shoot the enemy from a long distance rather than going head to head close up (minus the Testament mechanics who were caught off-guard at a very close range) so would make sense to fire a SHOOTING weapon from long distances to snipe the enemy before they can get really close to you

Disc's attack is something that would only work against Blade.

Well you know, the usual amine thing here where you can't just kill off important characters. It probably wasn't a direct hit with the drill and Uchida just got pushed back.
