Let's do a quick fact-check, shall we?

1. Claire has developed immenselly. She still is annoying, but nothing compared to the first volumes. A quick read will show you that.
2. Ellis is sometimes even worse than Claire in the tsundere department.
3. None of the human girls have had even half the development with Kamito that the spirits have, and later dominate the popularity rankings together with the girl of each volume.
4. Unless a "kill them all" happens, both spirit girls will live the rest of their life with Kamito, no matter what happens. It's frankly the thing we can be most sure of.
5. We know nothing of Kamito's predisposition towards love. He's even hesitant with his feelings towards Restia, despite being obvious to everyone else.

Your points are foolish frankly.

1. Just because she's improved doesn't change the fact she is still extremely annoying and petty. However much like the others in her ilk you're forced to deal with her until a tolerance point is reached
2. Ellis was angry at Kamito because of the fact he was a male in a school of women and as a disciplinarian her stance is understandable. Once she got to know Kamito everything pretty much changed. Claire pretty much stayed the same royal pain in the ass until the end of the Blade Dance.
3. Restia's is higher (although the fact most of it happened off screen cannot be ignored). Est however you cannot say that in regards to certain girls.
4. If he stays as a human this is true. However there's no guarantee he does that and you can't ignore that
5. We actually know a fair bit about it. He keeps the girls at a distance and all the romance comes from the girls. As for Restia we pretty much acknowledge that he dealt with the girls and the nonsense that comes with it because of Restia and that she is his number 1 motivation for most of what he's done

1. Eh, you would have to take her literally for that to be true. Still, not my main point, I was just arguing about character development.
2. Ellis continued saying things and interfering until the return to Areishia. Claire also markedly mellowed up by volume 4, and especially by volume 8. Both are identical in this.
3. Est is most certainly higher than any other human girls if you bothered to read Volume 5 (in which he blatantly promises to stay with her forever) and later ones.
4. I'm not ignoring that. It's that basing anything from a theory about which we know nothing is truly foolish. At most you can speculate, but arguing about characters...?

I really don't feel like arguing this anymore. Because you've ignored my points because they go against yours.

The reality is this.
Claire has improved but mainly because of the fact that now you understand why she is who she is. That allows you to ignore her faults if you want to
Ellis is the disciplinarian of the group and most of her actions are to keep things going and as much as we hate the intereference this isn't that type of story.
Est and Restia are the top girls in Kamito's heart and that is unquestionned. The top human well frankly that's Claire.

Claire is also polarizing because for a girl who was what she was it seems like she gets all the major moments. It makes no sense when frankly there are better girls for nearly every role you can think of within the whole story
Popularity doesn't matter too much and development is impossible to truly judge because every character doesn't start from the same point

this is the longest chapter wise and there have been a few blade dance chapters. However as far as content goes the blade dance chapters have it beat.
