Description/Background/History History: Born on the Non-administrated world of Hotarus. Almost identical in technological and magical aspects when compared to Mid-childan planets, Hotarus is a planet that has been embroiled in war between the government and a rebellious faction for years.
A child of an influential family within the government, Jean lived in constant fear for her life as the rebellion raged on. Rumours of kidnapping for political ransoms kept the government on edge and the government decided that they would seek outside help, the TSAB.
The TSAB’s navy was involved in an operation to evacuate the children of the political leaders, direct intervention in the civil war was not possible because the planet was not administrated by the TSAB. However, before the evacuation could be done, the rebels struck and leaders and children that were to be evacuated were kidnapped and held ransom, Jean was one of those that were kidnapped that day. The conditions were simple, surrender all authority and submit to the rebels.
The government made a bargain with the TSAB, in return for ending the war and rescuing the hostages, they agreed to submit themselves to TSAB’s administration and be government by them. It was the most effective choice and the reason the rebellion started was due to corrupted officials who treated the populace poorly. By being administrated by a government that is renown for its benevolence and equality for its citizens, the people of Hotarus can now hope to see peace that will last.
It was a horrible time for the hostages as every hour one of them would be chosen and executed in public, regardless if they were children, until the rebels had their demands met. A small team of special operatives were called in to handle the situation and Itsuki was the one who lead the operation. The operation was successful, with the operatives successfully eliminating the rebels.
Jean saw Itsuki approaching as the situation came to a close and the hostages were rescued and brought to safety. As she saw the face of the young man who led the operation that resulted in her rescue, as if a dam was broken, the tears came flooding as the realization that she was saved from the horrible situation dawned. Not knowing what else to do with the child, all Itsuki could do was stroke her head as he told her everything was okay. At that moment, Jean thought to herself of how safe and warm those hands were and that the nightmare was finally over.
Months after that case, Hotarus, now officially administrated by the TSAB, decided to allow citizens of their world study magic with the bureau’s academy back in Mid-childan. Jean, who had since then decided she wanted to save people like the team of operatives back then, decided to enlist with the TSAB’s air force academy at Central to learn more about the people of the world that came to govern them, to become a mage who will have the power to save and protect others, as well as to find the young man that led that small covert ops team that saved the hostages that day, who her then young child’s mind saw as a hero. She wanted to thank him, as she didn’t manage to do that on that fateful day, passing out from mental exhaustion. It was a chance to do just that and to explore a whole new world.
Thus begins her journey into worlds unknown, one that she will remember for life.
Habits/Hobbies: Likes climbing trees, even though she mostly wears skirts. Also likes reading magazines. She makes up weird nicknames for people sometimes, some without that own person knowing.
Personality/Behaviour patterns: Well-cultured girl with an air of elegance surrounding her. She’s polite and kind to most except when she deems that person unworthy of such. When she talks she uses very formal speech, and is careful to address superiors or seniors by their ranks. Her close friend’s share a more familiar relationship with her, where she dispenses with formalities and is a lot more open. Its probably safe to say she only shows herself as what she wants to be to those close to her but to others the image of a well mannered and educated lady that her family brought her up to be.
Her personality certainly doesn’t seem to be suited for the choice of armed device that she uses, but that is not the case as she wields the device with believe and conviction during missions, and is certainly quite competent with the use of a sword that is quite long for her size. She’s a serious and dependable person, but she’s not that bad that she’s stoic or anything and she does have her fun side, which is a side she doesn’t show to many.
However, being born of parents who were former politicians in her world, she has always been pampered and well provided for by her family. Also, despite being in missions where the reality of how horrible and cruel situations and people can become, she naively everyone can be made to see reason, no matter how twisted or evil they may be. She trusts people too easily, is gullible, and takes many things at face value, a very dangerous trait when dealing with the many rogues who break the TSAB’s laws. Although
Professional Background: Joined the TSAB academy at the age of 10 and graduated at the age of 12, Jean has always been considered as highly talented. She uses modern Belka style magic, and uses a large sword equipped with the cartridge system. After graduating she was posted at the same unit Itsuki was in, a reunion she had always dreamed off, a reunion with the man who saved her from a fate of waiting to be killed as time ticked away in that hostage situation she was in years ago. She is currently poised to make it to sergeant in rank.
Fighting style: Strong despite her size due to training, Jean uses her sword with decent proficiency in combat.
Jean will sometimes use a straight cannon spell to attack opponents from mid range and immediately try to get up close to attack from close range. Should the opponent dodge, she can swing Griever in a wide arc and it will generate a flame wave covering the arc of the swing.
Mostly Jean will prefer to rely on her proficiency of her sword and not overly rely on her magical powers unless necessary.
Barrier Jacket: Jean’s barrier jacket is styled of a medieval knight, with a lot less armour plating. Her barrier jacket consists of a blue shirt with long sleeves, white long skirt reaching her knees, a steel breast plate, steel gauntlets, steel boots, and armour plates cover both sides of her hips. Not as heavy as those medieval fully armoured knights but still offers good protection and better mobility. The armour plates can even deflect weak magic attacks.
Device: Griever
Jean’s armed device, Griever is a two-handed single edge sword. Jean can use it to create energy blades, and area effect elemental waves of flame.
Storage mode:
Using the most practical form there is, Griever’s storage form is a silver pendant of what looks like the head of a lion from the side. The phrase “set-up” activates the device.
Device mode:
5 feet in length with a width 5 inches, it is a single-edge blade with one-foot long hilt with good grip and no cross guard. The hilt is a rich gold colour and the blade is solid black steel. The cartridge component is built at the back of the blade, as is common with most sword type armed devices, and is a revolver styled one, similar to that used in Bardiche. The blade is only slightly over an inch thick; therefore the device isn’t really all that heavy. However the blade’s length is still significantly quite long for her size and so she can’t swing it as fast as she would be able to with other sword based devices like Laevatine.
Model: Griever, gunblade of Squall from FF8, Kingdom Hearts
Offensive spells: Flame Wave: A wave of flame is created and sweeps out in an arc according to that of Griever’s swing. The wave generates a lot of heat and smoke, making it a good cover for follow up attacks. (Attack: B, Speed: B-, Range: arc of sword swing and half a man’s height, as far as 10 metres, Cartridge consumed: 1)
Blade Beam: A beam is generated from a swing of Griever that moves in a linear direction but fast enough to cause trouble for opponents who don’t get out of its way quick enough. (Attack: B, Speed: A+, Range: B-)
Inferno Rage: The typical cannon spell, effective at short to mid range and has decent power. Blast point occurs from tip of Griever. (Attack: B, Speed: B, Range: B)
Furious Swipe: The blade’s edge is sharpen by a surge of power from the release of a cartridge, giving the blade enhance power. (Attack: A, Cartridges used: 1)
Defensive spells: Omega Protection: As a front attacker, Jean needs to be able to shield herself from enemy attacks well with minimal support. This is a barrier spell that can even auto-cast whenever hostile attacks enter within a certain range. It can also be cast on allies or non-combatants during certain disaster or rescue operations. (Strength: A+, Radius: 2.5 metres)
Knight’s Shield: Jean’s shield spell that helps block frontal attacks that can’t be blocked otherwise with Griever. (Strength: AA+)
Support/Boost/Mobility Spells: Flight: Jean was part of the air force and knows how to fly. Needing lots of room to maneuver her sword, aerial combat became her preference, and Jean spends much of her personal training time on aerial combat simulations and how to increase her mobility and maneuverability in the air.
Phantom Mirage: The same spell that Itsuki has, which he taught to Jean during their time in the same air force unit. However she is not able to boost her speed by a lot or hold the spell as long as Itsuki can. (Speed boost: AA+, Duration: 3 minutes)

Nice OC Jean is, a former hostage huh? Though after all she's been through and still acting naive? This girl's stubborn in her own way She doesn't seem the type to go close combat, although it does make for an unusual contrast, nice

You guys know I've been enthralled with Amuro for years now, so...
I dropped this because Nonaha was OOC apparently. However, with a litte work, I think it goes to explain why Nanoha had bits. It was after all, Kha's most powerful attack, and just like Fate copying Kha's dual-wielding, apparently so did Nanoha.
But I in turn was copying Amuro...
How many more spells are the Aces going to copy off Kha anyways? So... does Kha get another... fresh unwashedmemento from this incident?

Mostly Jean will prefer to rely on her proficiency of her sword and not overly rely on her magical powers unless necessary.
Barrier Jacket: Jean’s barrier jacket is styled of a medieval knight, with a lot less armour plating. Her barrier jacket consists of a blue shirt with long sleeves, white long skirt reaching her knees, a steel breast plate, steel gauntlets, steel boots, and armour plates cover both sides of her hips. Not as heavy as those medieval fully armoured knights but still offers good protection and better mobility. The armour plates can even deflect weak magic attacks.
Device: Griever
Jean’s armed device, Griever is a two-handed single edge sword. Jean can use it to create energy blades, and area effect elemental waves of flame.
Storage mode:
Using the most practical form there is, Griever’s storage form is a silver pendant of what looks like the head of a lion from the side. The phrase “set-up” activates the device.
Device mode:
5 feet in length with a width 5 inches, it is a single-edge blade with one-foot long hilt with good grip and no cross guard. The hilt is a rich gold colour and the blade is solid black steel. The cartridge component is built at the back of the blade, as is common with most sword type armed devices, and is a revolver styled one, similar to that used in Bardiche. The blade is only slightly over an inch thick; therefore the device isn’t really all that heavy. However the blade’s length is still significantly quite long for her size and so she can’t swing it as fast as she would be able to with other sword based devices like Laevatine.
Model: Griever, gunblade of Squall from FF8, Kingdom Hearts
Offensive spells: Flame Wave: A wave of flame is created and sweeps out in an arc according to that of Griever’s swing. The wave generates a lot of heat and smoke, making it a good cover for follow up attacks. (Attack: B, Speed: B-, Range: arc of sword swing and half a man’s height, as far as 10 metres, Cartridge consumed: 1)
Blade Beam: A beam is generated from a swing of Griever that moves in a linear direction but fast enough to cause trouble for opponents who don’t get out of its way quick enough. (Attack: B, Speed: A+, Range: B-)
Inferno Rage: The typical cannon spell, effective at short to mid range and has decent power. Blast point occurs from tip of Griever. (Attack: B, Speed: B, Range: B)
Furious Swipe: The blade’s edge is sharpen by a surge of power from the release of a cartridge, giving the blade enhance power. (Attack: A, Cartridges used: 1)
Defensive spells: Omega Protection: As a front attacker, Jean needs to be able to shield herself from enemy attacks well with minimal support. This is a barrier spell that can even auto-cast whenever hostile attacks enter within a certain range. It can also be cast on allies or non-combatants during certain disaster or rescue operations. (Strength: A+, Radius: 2.5 metres)
Knight’s Shield: Jean’s shield spell that helps block frontal attacks that can’t be blocked otherwise with Griever. (Strength: AA+)
Support/Boost/Mobility Spells: Flight: Jean was part of the air force and knows how to fly. Needing lots of room to maneuver her sword, aerial combat became her preference, and Jean spends much of her personal training time on aerial combat simulations and how to increase her mobility and maneuverability in the air.
Phantom Mirage: The same spell that Itsuki has, which he taught to Jean during their time in the same air force unit. However she is not able to boost her speed by a lot or hold the spell as long as Itsuki can. (Speed boost: AA+, Duration: 3 minutes)
Ok, not exactly the most original but I don't want to stray too far from what's accepted. I realize that there's a lot of work to be done with my OCs and I'll make any changes where necessary. However I can't do this without feedback.

Anyway the device is probably the most unoriginal part there is. But when I thought of the device of my OC, I kept thinking and was looking around and it just hit me that a sword with a revolver in it (for the cartridge system) just had to be a gunblade. It just fits perfectly I guess.
Of course I think a little bit of adjustment is in order, so the original Griever is only a model. But basically that's what I'm looking at, except it being a straight hilt and minus the gun trigger.

A well-balanced design indeed, and a good one. I agree with Reiji's comment on the possibility of giving her at least one SLB-like spell, but, that's your choice.
Now, since I have gathered that Arnold's appearance picture has possibly caused some of you to go "H4xx" or so, and maybe some others of you to think of me as a thief, his character is rescinded...for now, at least. I'll need some more thought before I resubmit a new "blueprint" of his design.

Teana sought hiding as N moved to fire, but there was no click of the trigger, or any bang signifying that the gunslinger had loosed off a shot. Instead, there was a whistling, as of some unknown object cutting through the air, and both N and Teana heard a thud followed by a sickening gush of claret and a scream.
That scream was from the revolver-wielder, who looked down, his face pale with shock, at his left arm, its hand lying disconnected on the floor still grasping one of the weapons N held.
"M...my HAND?!"
Teana averted her eyes from this sight when she saw a flash, and the wires criss-crossing the room were all severed in an instant. The explosives went off, a orange-colored blast culminating which sent her opponent hurtling back into a wall. He slumped against it, and raised his head weakly. Meanwhile, Regius, once tied, fell to the ground, somehow unharmed by the deadly explosion.
The attacker revealed himself, pacing towards "Ocelot"- a figure clad in black from head to toe with a had of brown hair, wearing a clearly distinguishable mask forged from porcelain. In its right hand, it held a knife, caked in fresh blood, droplets of the liquid dripping off the blade.
N grimaced as he gazed upon the unknown assailant. "T...that mask...are you always this persistent?!" He glared at Teana, and picked himself up off the floor in a hurry, stumbling as he exited through a hole in the wall. "You were lucky this time...I assure you, we'll cross paths again!"
The black-garmented character stood motionless. Teana, done with witnessing what had just happened, took the initiative to move over to the newcomer, her device raised, pointed at the new arrival's back.
"Who are you?", she inquired, warily.
The masked one turned slowly to face her. The mage was somewhat disturbed at the sight of the ever-smiling mask the character wore, but still tried to keep her wits about herself. It's reply was cool, yet stern, and its voice was cold.
"I am like you...", it stated.
Teana was puzzled and about to respond when the character continued.
"I have no name."
Again, altered dialogue in some areas, amongst other things... But do tell me what you all think.

Born into Lowran family, Fenix has been brought up on a diet of Military training and studies ever since he could walk and read. He was always compared to with his cousin, Griffith, hence spark a small rivary between them.
Griffith, though having no magical potential, excelled in his studies and was signed up into the Bureau as soon as he came to age. Fenix however, did not have that excuse and was struggling to keep up with both subjects. He ended up taking 1-2 years longer before his parents would allow him to sign up.
Fenix had a borderline passing grade for his magical studies, but was rather impressive to an extend in his mage training.
"Academy"
Fenix was originally assigned to the same 'class' as both Subaru and Teana. He was rather arrogant and rude to his follow trainees, though never once did he brought up his family name. His usual boasting is always about what he himself is capable of doing, and he had never say anything that he couldn't, wouldn't, didn't do.
His personality and combat style are aggressive and more than once did he lock horns with Teana, usually for mocking her lack of power to attain her dreams.
"Forget it, you're just too weak..."
Fenix graduated within a year when he completed the 'A' ranked examination and was deemed 'Overqualified' by his instructors. He was to be transfered to the Air Force Training school. In a rare moment he sincerely thanked Subaru when she congratulated him. However, the last thing he said to piss Teana off was-
"I'll be going ahead first... Just as I said I would Your dream... I'll be taking it "
Subaru could only restrain her partner for 10 seconds while Fenix made a run for it.
Sky's the Limit
Once he entered the Air Force, he comes to realized the hard way as to why very few mages could join. The instructors demand mastery over the flight spell, something that Fenix (In all irony) still have problems with. His Acceleration control is very sloppy, and long term floating is a constant pain to manage.
For the next six months Fenix struggles to keep up with the lessons, but to no avail. He hs two months to put his act together, or be sent back to Ground.
Knowing of his predicament, Leti asked former Enforcer Chrono Haralown for a favor; To help train him the same way the Lieze twins trained him, she would even pull strings to get other people to cover for him during that time. Chrono eventually agreed, though it's suspicious as to why he seems so smirk about it.
Initially, Fenix refused his aid, but Chrono reminded the headstrong boy of the consequences of his failure.
"Pride is good. But I don't think you can afford it right now..."
That said, Fenix grudgingly accepted. Which began his two month spartan training... Which is basically almost all the crazy stunt Chrono had gone through, but much more compacted and nothing funny about.
But it did the job, not only is he able to control his flight spell alot better, but was also recommedated for the 'AAA' ranked examination.
"Red vs Red"
He took the exam on the day before his 15th birth date.
During the examination, Fenix scored well for his written exam, though nothing outstanding and was one of the middle few who took the paper. He was barely able to pull off his wide area fire-base spell, and nearly lost control of it midway.
During his combat sparring however, his original examiner had called in sick that day. And as it turns out, his replacement is none other than Vita.
The two of them immediately got off on a bad start, badmouthing each other.
Throughout the fight, it was obvious that Vita had the upper hand, her moves overpowers his quite often. But after the training with Chrono, Fenix's combat instincts and will to live became alot stronger.
The match was stopped when both Fenix and Vita lost their devices and had their fist inches away from the other's face.
He was reprimanted for his reckless and aggressive behaviour, but he manages to passed by showing excellent combat skills, even Vita vouched for him in that.
After which he was assigned to a Navy special forces division as a Striker to the far planet that is experiencing civil unrest. He met with Chrono again on one of his missions, this was during the day of the Ground Center attack.
Adding the description for his two barrier Jacket modes later... Lunch now...
Urgh.... *rubs eyes* I cringe when I see the backlogs. Guess that's what happen when you stay awake when everyone is asleep and everyone else is awake when you're asleep. And its not even because of the time zone. (I sleep around 4-7am usually, depending)

Well, I was planning on expanding on their background and history into short pieces soon anyway so guess I'll do that then.
Yachiru from bleach? If so, no not really, she's not hyper and such. She's just cheerful, calm, and dignified like a lady in front of most (sort of like a mask); but relaxes and drops the "over-formalness" when interacting with certain people. Kind of like, she thinks being dignified is good and all but it does get tiring to keep it up all the time.

Well I went through a few episodes of StrikerS here and there and I think I'll change it to resemble Sister Schach's BJ, to avoid it being too similar to another OC I know we have, which I think is Sakura? Probably the differences would be my OC having a long sleeve instead of sleeveless shirt and armor platings here and there.

Modified from the standard MACS six cartridge-load devices that the Navy Strikers use, Fenix remove the extra storage space in the device and with the help of the technology department, installed an AI with advance fire spellcrafting abilities.
In addition, he also had the colour scheme changed from grey to red.

Fenix's ground/close combat barrier jacket mode. This is his standard wear when he's on duty. It consist of the usual Armed Force black colour Jacket, as well as his personal blood-red mantle.
The mantle functions as a shock absorber for the intense magic output whenever he uses a cartridge.
After his first encounter with a Destroyer (in another world) on the day of the attack on Ground Center, he managed acquire one of their Gauntlets during a fight. As it turns out, the gauntlets increases all melee range spells of it's user.... Lt. Fenix had the object replicated for both his arms.
Spoiler for "Starscream" mode:
This is Fenix's high speed combat flight mode and is the result of several life-threatening experiences during his 2 month spartan training. In this mode, the gauntlets are gone and the mantle doubles it's size.
A portion of the mantle forms a rough protection over his head, the rest of it spreads out like a wing shape pattern. Fenix is able to reach sonic speeds with this, the flaming star cause when he flies as well as the loud 'screaming' is what gives it it's name.
However, Fenix is unable to stop or go slower than a certain velocity in this mode. His armor and melee capabilities are also reduced, but in return he gains a bunch of powerful long to extreme range spells.
How many more spells are the Aces going to copy off Kha anyways? So... does Kha get another... fresh unwashedmemento from this incident?

It's just me linking things together. Kha and Nanoha do reference the same greatest Real Robot pilot ever.
However, since l33t Amuro doesn't exist in the Nanohaverse yet, Nanoha must've copied it from Kha.
Anyway, Kha still owes her a lot, for he has Traced her Divine Buster and Starlight Breaker. If only Hayate wasn't so shafted this season, we might see that she have copied something off of Kha too.
As for a momento... Hmm...

There's nothing wrong with huge age differences... when you're older. I wouldn't mind two people being in love if they were 32 and 47. It's when you get younger that you have to start thinking about the "legal" line - I mean, would you promote romantic love between two people who are 25 and 10? Note here that the age difference between both couples are the same - 15 years.
To me, it's not about the age - it's about appearances. I approve ErioxCaro, or Yuunoha, or KhaFate, ChronoAmy... and so on. Why? Because it avoids the notion of an inappropriate love relationship (translation: pedophilia).
Bottom line: I am willing to support ANY romance between ages, as long as it avoids the notion of (best word I could find) impropriety.
Difference in culture, I suppose. Yes, I too agree that relations between a ten year old and a 25 year old is inapropriate, but between a 16 year old and a 23(ish) year old? That scores as acceptable in my book.

Nine years ago, the TSA had its first encounter with the girl known as Asuka.

and returned to life, means unknown. In return for allowing herself to be
examined and for working on contract for the TSA, she was never charged with
murder.
Over the two years she spent as a specially assigned mage, she became good
friends with rising stars Nanoha Takamachi-tachi and a well respected user
of both her own unique magic and of the then-unique power of artifice. After
those two years, she vanished, leaving as she had come - from thin air.
It would be seven years before she showed up again.
When the TSA next saw her, it was like meeting someone new - Asuka looked
the same as ever,
but her old persona of cold-blooded, sarcastic cynicism had changed. She
was warmer now, a bit more outgoing, but also more stoic, in the vein of
someone who has seen something so profound it changed them. In Asuka's case,
it has to have been something horrific - she absolutely will not talk about
what happened to her during her long absence, save that it nearly killed
her - again.
At some point during her absence, her body has also been cyborged, the legacy
of seven years' worth of brutal violence. Some of these components are the
result of countless injuries suffered; some, she admits, she added voluntarily.
At the time of her return, she offered her spear formally to the military,

in the most dangerous of situations, and has a great deal of leeway to get
things done when all else has failed. Though she remains good friends with
most of the Sixth Division, and indeed spends much of her free time with

Personality:
Asuka is a calm, stoic girl who bears many of the signs of living on a battlefield.
She's socially awkward around people she doesn't know, and her natural
bluntness makes her come across as somewhat emotionless. Though she is distinctly

very good at expressing herself with words. She's also quick to form opinions

She nonetheless is a little archaic in her battle manners - she feels it
proper to introduce each other as befits warriors, and generally eschews
underhanded tactics - unless the situation demands it.

Appearance:
Asuka stands tall at just over six feet, and her rail-thin build gives her
a stretched appearance. She's nonetheless got some muscle, and looks quite
strong for someone so slim. Her hair is jet black, with a single red highlight
down the back, and falls just to her shoulders, worn free. Her eyes are
flame red, almost luminous under bright light; her left eye has a noticeable
silver stripe among the red. A pattern of three vertical scars run from
just below her left eye to halfway down her face - she claims to have had
there from birth. Another scar is located just above her waist, horizontal,
running all the way along her back.
Asuka's right arm is artificial, metal from hand to shoulder, constructed
of a burnished metal as-yet-unknown to the TSAB. Slightly large and thus
disproportionate to its owner, it contains a power-wrist very similar to
the Revolver Knuckle, reinforced forearm bars for added combat durability,
and a concealed blade in the palm, "just in case." It's range of motion is
identical to her real arm, though it is somewhat heavy, which can affect
her balance.
Asuka's choice of wear is normally her Barrier Jacket, as she feels most
comfortable in it, but on the rare occasions she wears casual clothes, she
prefers a black tank top, white miniskirt, a zettai ryouiki of her Jacket's
combat boots and tattered black stockings, and a somewhat random assortment
of belts, usually four of more and worn around her legs or flesh arm.

Barrier Jacket:
Though formally named a "defense grid" in the Argentum style, Asuka just
calls it armor, for it looks like actual armor. A light metal breastplate
covers her assets and back, leaving her torso open. Light greaves cover
her boots, black knee-length leather combat boots(complete with a knife
sheath and knife); a similarly styled but heavy and long bracer covers her
flesh arm, which is also clad in an elbow-length, fingerless black leather
glove. She wears very short shorts, also in black leather, with extra armor
over her hips; long silver sashes hang from each hip plate to floor length.
Very small plates guard her shoulders as well. All her armor is the same
flame red as her eyes.
Forms:
Aegis form:
A defensive form and it's default mode. Aegis form emphasizes protection
- up close, all the armor seems to have a mirrored finish, designed to deflect
magic energy more efficiently. The Jacket's defensive fields are also more
powerful, but she loses some agility for all the protection.
Harpe form:
A speedy form, used if she needs the extra agility. Her armor, already light,
becomes even lighter-styled, skeletal more than anything, and the defense
fields are all but unpowered to allow for more speed. Her defensive ability
suffers while in this form.

Skills and Abilities:
Asuka has a unique array of skills both magical and non. When she was revived,
her Linker Core was somehow corrupted, rendering her unable to use "normal"
magic at all. Her Core still functions; indeed its power has actually been
amplified - sharply. She has the total mana potential of five normal mages
- and can't make so much as a flashlight with it. Though a moderately skilled
mage before reversal, she lost that power - but in the true spirit of warrior,
she took her loss stoically, and began to train her body instead. Even
before cyborging or even regaining magic power, she had developed freakish
physical strength, unnerving dexterity, and near-limitless stamina.
How she came to learn artificing - the power to psychically manipulate machines
- is a mystery, but with that power she began to reclaim magic. In what
can only be called inspiration, she imagined a way to use machines to use
magic for her, and thus began to remake her Device to do so, utilizing what
amount to dedicated, remote mini-Devices to perform magic in her stead. [Covered
more thoroughly in the "Device" section. ]
Her now-reclaimed magic is limited in function, but extremely powerful.
Balanced towards her preference for melee combat, her magic ability is dedicated
short-range - she has ONE long range magic attack and is otherwise limited
to short-to-melee ranged combat.
Sometime in between her stint as a contract mage and the present time, Asuka
cyborged her body - shockingly, she claims to have done so herself, for
reasons she's less than forthcoming about. Even more shocking, some of these
mechanical inserts are voluntary - she did so, though she hasn't said as
much, because she could. These components, many of which are beyond TSA ability to fully comprehend, have augmented her already-great physical abilities
even further, but has also had an adverse effect on her magic power, forcing
her to artifice her Device even more to keep the balance.

Device:
Asuka's Device is as unique as she is - indeed, it is because she herself
is unique that her Device is as well. It's name is Exelica - a name the
TSA recognized, when they got around to analyzing
it, as a lost artifact of a civilization predating the humans that live
on Midchilda today. In their it; in their haste to look over its owner,
the machine itself was all but ignored until later. Supposedly over ten
thousand years old, how Asuka obtained it is unknown; she claims to have
"picked it up somewhere."
Owing to her body's natural properties as a result of being brought back,
she can't use magic normally. Owing to her uncanny talent for artificing,
she has almost completely refitted Exelica to do magic for her, and in her
absence has also added two six-shot revolver-style Velkan cartridge systems
to it - customized as well. Asuka is completely dependent on her Device
to perform magic arts in her stead; she can't even fly without it in hand.
Exelica is a fully sentient Device, able to think, reason, and decide on
it's own. It speaks several languages, including Asuka's unknown native
tongue, though speaks English by default. More importantly, it does so with
perfect grammar. If possible, it will try to talk to someone in their preferred
language. It has a male voice similar in pitch to Asuka's own but no explicit
gender as a Device. Unusually, though, it does have a functional humanoid
form, taking the appearance of a distractingly bishonen young man, used
by Asuka mainly to communicate is she herself is unable to do so. In contrast
to its ower, Exelica is outgoing and optimistic.
It's unique style of arcana is named the Argentum style by her. The secret
is in small "nodes," baseball-sized machines remotely controlled by the
Device. These nodes are essentially highly dedicated Storage Devices, which
work synergistically with a master Device, performing the three steps to
using magic: Draw(pulling mana from a Linker Core), Refine(shape that mana
into the programmed spell), and Cast(open fire). Exelica is equipped with
nine nodes, eight free ones plus a master control node in the spear itself;
eight is the maximum number of free nodes she has figured out how to control
at once.
Again, due to her corrupted Core, normal Devices cannot siphon Asuka's mana
properly and will either not function or possibly injure her; Exelica has
been specially rebuilt to physically tear mana from her, a very inefficient,
not to mention stamina-demanding, process; a normal human would be unable
to endure the strain for long. Therefore, while she has five times a normal
mage's mana, her magic isn't much stronger than any other mage's. Exelica's
nodes refine this mana externally as much as possible.
This means that her magic's power is variable; if she uses all eight nodes
to cast a given spell, it will be at full strength; using one or two, it
won't have as much power. The flip side of this is that each node, as an
individual Storage Device, is capable of processing spells individually,
so using the above example, she could use one powerful spell or several
low-power ones. This is what makes her such a unique mage - she has a limited
array of magic, but can inherently vary it more than one might think. Certain
properties change depending on the nodal level of a spell; see "Spell List"
below.
Exelica's Full Drive is called Halcyon Mode. It ethereally fuses Exelica's
nodes to the cybernetic components of Asuka's body, increasing her physical
parameters by great amounts, most notably her animal senses, which become
inhumanly sharp. The downside is that this mode is apparently painful to
use, and she claims extended time can cause injury.
Device Incantation:
"An oath forged on darksteel blood...Body of iron, mind of steel, soul of
silver. Recall ancient's command, metal bowing to forgetten words. With
a wish of gold, feel the aether's heartbeat! Now relinquish, look forth,
aim for tomorrow! Together, we are the spear! Exelica...Set Up!!!"

Spell List:
Asuka's magic is entirely short-range, with a single exception; she's optimized
for brutal melee combat.
- Attack -
Arcane Spiral: Long range; bombardment, non-elemental
Launches a concrescent ray from the tip of her spear, straight-flying over
around 300 meters. Slow to charge up but surprisingly high in power for
a reasonable mana cost, it is Asuka's sole long range spell.
Blasting Wall: Point blank, AOE, non-elemental
Generates a short, violent ripple in the immediate area before her, in the
manner of a shockwave. This is an instant-cast spell with almost no firing
time; Being primarily a disruption move, it's offensive power is minimal,
though so is its mana use.
Silver Arc: Short range, powered attack, machine-elemental
Diverting a surge of magic onto her spear's triple blades, Asuka spins in
place, "throwing" a wave of silver, bladed light a short distance before
her. She needs at least two nodes to perform this move. Average in both
power and mana use.
Lancer Core: Short range, physical attack, non-elemental
An ace-in-the-hole technique, Asuka shoots Exelica's spearhead off on an
energy chain. This doesn't actually need mana to fire and thus can be used
anytime; she often uses a cartridge to boost its power. This move has a
range of 20 meters.
Revolver Hammer: Short range, powered attack, machine-elemental
A direct reverse-engineer of Subaru's similarly named technique; Asuka uses
a power weapon on her mechanical arm for this (which also looks suspiciously
like the Revolver Knuckle). This move requires a cartridge or three, and one node.
Iron Cyclone: Short range, powered attack, machine-elemental
Asuka binds multiple nodes to her spear temporarily and uses them to shoot
a pressure wave in front of her. If she employs at least four cartridges,
this spell has the unique effect of drawing the enemy in rather than forcing
them away. Very slow to refire.
Soundbreak: Point blank, powered attack, machine-elemental
Her trademark finishing move, Asuka forms a mana spike within her spear's
tip, and stabs the enemy, firing it explosively into her target (and usually
drilling a hole in the unlucky victim). This is a killing blow and requires
a lot of energy, and four active nodes, to use.
Chronocurse: Short range, powered attack, machine elemental
Asuka's second strongest attack consists of her animating some or all nodes,
using cartridges to affix magical blades to them (one per node), and remote-controlling
them at high speed. Though very powerful and difficult to block or dodge,
she is leaves herself open while using this move.
Forbidden Impact: Short range, powered attack/AOE, non-elemental
Her final offensive tech is to expend at least eight cartridges, use all
eight nodes, charge for a few seconds, and dashes forward at extremely high
speed, sheathed in a violent energy field. She can stop dead mid-flight
and fire this energy off like a cannon blast; this variant is called "Sundering
Impact." Has positively immense power, but uses much in return.
-Defense-
Hallation: Barrier
Exelica's auto-guard spell. Noticeably weaker than most auto-guards, but
is dual-layered to make up for it.
Poly Shield: Shield
Generates a powerful shield between multiple nodes. The more used, the stronger
the shield is.
Repulsion: Shield
Not a true defense skill, Asuka releases a half-sphere shaped blast of energy.
This move deals no damage, but pushes back and disrupts an enemy in close
combat.
Silver Palm: Shield
Effectively generates a Poly Shield on her right forearm, further increasing
that arm's defense at the cost of lowering her offensive strength.
-Attach-
A new type of spell unique to Argentum magic, Attach-type spells attach
a node to another target, ally or enemy. The node provides a passive ability
when attached. They remain attached until the controller releases them;
they can also be thrown off like bind effects. Regardless of the attachee,
the controller's mana is used to continually power the effect and thus can become draining over
time.
Attach/Regenerate:
A positive attach that increases the target's stamina regeneration, granting
additional strength to fight.
Attach/Capture:
A negative attach, functioning much like a bind. Most stronger targets can
resist a full bind, but will still suffer a great loss of agility.
Attach/Power:
A positive attach, boosting the target's physical strength. Given Asuka's
preference for melee combat, the value of this spell is obvious.
Attach/Wither:
Weakens a target's resistance to damage. This does not actually lower defensive
parameters; it makes the target more vulnerable to damage dealt.
Attach/Shield:
A positive attach for boosting defense. As with Wither, it doesn't directly
boost defensive power, but negates a portion of damage taken.
Attach/Jinx: A negative attach that interferes with the target's mana flow,
causing their magic to function erratically, and sometimes uncontrollably.
-Other-
Mistwalk: Movement
Allows Asuka to move at extremely high speed, faster than even her own eyes
can track her. The catch is that she can only move in a straight line.
Reductor: Break-out
A standard bind/effect breaking skill.
-Ceremonial-
Exelica has one mighty ceremonial spell.
Damnation: Unknown range, AOE, unknown elemental
Requires a full stock of nodes and cartridges, Full Drive, and Exelica's
human form. Both warriors grasp her spear together, middle and back, and
together chant Exelica's incantation. At the finish, it fires a blast powerful
enough to damage the very earth, range and damage unknown. Asuka has never
used this spell in view of the TSA, and claims to be unable to use it more
than once per week.

Trivia:
-Although not Japanese, Asuka learned it while working as a contract mage
and uses it as if it were her native language; she writes her name, which
happens to be pronounced as if it were a Japanese name, in self-assembled
kanji and is particularly fond of masculine-style speech. ("Ore wa Asuka
da. Yoroshiku ze.")
-"Asuka" written the way her name is in Japanese means "tomorrow's fire,"
which can be interpreted as a very poetic euphemism for "dawn;" in her native
tongue "Asuka" literally means "dawn."
-She loves rock candy; offering her some is a great way to break the ice.
-Conversely, offering her fish of any kind is a good way to make her nauseous
(and therefore hate you).
-She also likes to play video games...
-As mentioned above, be very careful not to physically touch her; she really
doesn't care what you do or say as long as you keep your distance.
-Asuka is also fond of a good verbal sparring match.

This is an OC I have used several times, she's been a little different each time but I keep using her because she fits so well. I tried to make her unique, and powerful, but without being broken.

Really? I rather liked it. Sure it could have been TONS better, but as far as StrikerS goes, this was an enjoyable battle.
I might be able to use Keroko to give Nanoha a reason to hold back, which could make the battle slightly more believable.

Description/Background/History:
History: Created by a "Doctor" for wanting a child. He based this child as Caro Ru Lushe. He gave This child the magic powers as Caro Ru Lushe. She was created at the age of 2 and was taught magic young so she could be able to be at a high rank when she get older. She lived with the Doctor for 2 years then the "Doctor" saw what she could do so he tried making more children and traing them to make a army and taking over Mid-Childa. He tried to give Miharu so much magic powerr when he did experiments on her . He got so greedy of wanting more power he went wrong with Miharu making a side of her she didn't want. When he released that side of her and giving it so much power "she" felt like it didn't need him and killed him. Miharu took back over her body and saw the Doctor dying on the ground and say "Go find you sister ,Caro Ru Lushe". When she had realized that the side was still there she allowed "her" to stay cause she didn't want to kill someone. Miharu went with her dragon Rii to find her sister but she didn't have any food or money so she hid in a lab on a rainday. Later that a scientist found her and captured as she was put into a cell with other children the were artificail mages. They did experiments on her with the other children and saw what she had of her other side. They experimented on her for a year. They tried to bring out her other side to experiments with and when they did they made it more powerful and had one of their pervouis experiments put into her to see what would happen. They called Miharu "Dark Winged". When the TSAB found out what they were doing they went and shut them down. But they used their experiments to fight back. The scientists had lost and Miharu and the other children were found unconscious on the floor. Caro had found Miharu on the floor unconscious . Caro had been visiting her and her dragon everyday while she was still unconscious
Habits/Hobbies: Playing, Befriending Lutecia, following Erio, Helping Caro, eat cookies, going on missions, training, riding Rii, love to drink caramel milk. Going to the Saint Church and see Charim-onee-chan. Shy around people she doesn't know, and learning magic from Hayate. She takes care of ingured animals and plays with them too.
Personality/Behaviour pattern: She's usally quite but around her freinds she like to act like herself. She usally follows Erio around cause he does intresting things . She likes to sometimes befriend Lutecia cause she can what happening between Erio and Caro. She'll get sad when someone metions her father ,but will fake smile saying its ok. She's scared of ghost stories or scay movies. She loves to try to cook cookies for her Onee-chan and Erio. She always give presents to the people who are nice to her. Fighting style:
She usally just gives boosts up and will sometimes have Rii goes into his true form ,but when needs to she'll take out a large sharp Sickle and will fight her enemy . She knows some of Erio's moves (like: Sonic Move, Stahlmesser, Luftmesser.)
Armor:
Miharu's armor has 3 layers(not inculding the jacket) The first layer is white dress that starts 2 inches above her chest all the way down 7 inches past her thys with white underwear. Next is navy blue top that starts 1 inches under the first layer and down to her waist that is spagitti strap. And the 3rd layer is a pink dress that is 2 inches longer then the white dress. The pink dress has 4 buttons to keep it closed. She has gloves just like Caro does and her shoes are a like too. She has 1 long navy sock on her left leg and a shorter sock that go to her calf on her right leg. She has A white barrier jacket with cape. Her jacket has a long sleeve on her right arm and a short sleeve on her left arm. She has 2 little ponytails that are navy and has a metal ring to hold ger hair up but some hair is left down.
Miscellaneous equipment:
Her sickle that is black and and has a pink sphere on it.
Device(s): Kerixion
Kerixion is a very intellgnt AI. Shari had it made that Miharu can hold out her hand(with her gloves on) and her sickle will come out. Kerixion speaks the language english. There is another version of Kerixion but its only when "She comes out".
Storage mode : It is stored in a bracelet with 2 pink round spheres and 2 black little chimes connected. The words "set-up" activates the device
Offensive spells:
Stahlmesser: A blade of magical energy extends itself from Kerixion's tip and is then used to cut the target.
Luftmesser: Using magic to compress and accelerate the air around Kerxion, Miharu creates blades of wind and throws them at the target.
Tairyoo Slicer: Kerixion gives a large boost to the blade of the sickle and do 10-15 large slashes and up to 6 inches wide and 48 inches long.
Flare Suraisu: It's a combanation with Rii her dragon. Rii gets a blast of fire and spits onto Miharu's sickle and miharu can do slashes of fire. The fire boost ups the attack it is much stronger. (AA attack)
Blast Flare: Not a real spell, but actually Rii's inherent fire-breathing ability boosted by Miharu's magic.
Blast Rain: A variation of the Blast Flare used while Rii is in his true form. Unlike the orignal, Blast Rain is very strong, With a destructive power in par with an AA magic attack. Caro tought this attack to Miharu for Rii.
Defensive spells:
Shield: A multi-layer shield that shields himself or any target from conventional spells and lower powered bombardment or long-range spells. Shaped as a dome, this spell protects said spells from any directions.
3-point shield: A triangular shield with smaller circles at the 3 points (much like a casting rune) that shields Miharu from 1 direction. Miahru holds on either of her palm up to cast this spell. The spell rune is Miharu’s height.
Active Protection : Miahru's variation of the basic Protection magic. It seems to be more tuned to defend against attacks from a single direction. Caro tought this to Miharu.
Summons :
Dragon Soul Summon: In order to keep Rii always by her side and, at the same, time have his true powers available when necessary, Miharu makes use of the Dragon Soul Summon spell. With this magic, she can seal away Rii's real form and strength and then temporally summon them back when they are needed.
Dragon Mount Summon: The magic that summons Alzas' guardian dragon: the Black Flame Dragon, Voltaire. Its important to be aware that Voltaire is a ancient creature of great power that only allows himself to be summoned when there is real need to. Miharu is able to summon him cause the "Doctor" had put that she was able to someone clones of him. She can summon more the one clone of Volitire.
Wrought Iron Summon: This spell allows Miharu to summon, transmute and control any inorganic matter on the nature. Although not restricted to it, the form of a chain is Miharu's favorite cause Caro had tought her this. She also calls this variation Alchemic Chain. Caro had also tought her this.
Support/Boost/Mobility spells:
Boost up: Miharu's and Kerixion's exclusive Increase-type Support magic. Each variation raises only one single and specific attribute. (Caro had tought her all the boost ups and supports, etc. spells)
Barret Power: - Increase the destructive power of a target's Shooting Magic. It does not help the attack penetrate certain defenses.
Strike Power: As the name suggests, the target's striking power for meele attacks is increased
Enchant Defense Gain: Increases one's defensive power
Enchant Up Field Invade: This spell grants the target the capacity to penetrate a Field-type magic defense and negate its effects.
Energy Boost: This magic allows Miharu to assist another mage in his/her spellcasting.
Physical Heal: Basic healing magic, it is meant to treat minor injuries only.
Twin Boost: Slash & Strike: Not an really a magic, but actually the capacity of casting two Boost Up spells simoultaneously

Born into Lowran family, Fenix has been brought up on a diet of Military training and studies ever since he could walk and read. He was always compared to with his cousin, Griffith, hence spark a small rivary between them.
Griffith, though having no magical potential, excelled in his studies and was signed up into the Bureau as soon as he came to age. Fenix however, did not have that excuse and was struggling to keep up with both subjects. He ended up taking 1-2 years longer before his parents would allow him to sign up.
Fenix had a borderline passing grade for his magical studies, but was rather impressive to an extend in his mage training.
"Academy"
Fenix was originally assigned to the same 'class' as both Subaru and Teana. He was rather arrogant and rude to his follow trainees, though never once did he brought up his family name. His usual boasting is always about what he himself is capable of doing, and he had never say anything that he couldn't, wouldn't, didn't do.
His personality and combat style are aggressive and more than once did he lock horns with Teana, usually for mocking her lack of power to attain her dreams.
"Forget it, you're just too weak..."
Fenix graduated within a year when he completed the 'A' ranked examination and was deemed 'Overqualified' by his instructors. He was to be transfered to the Air Force Training school. In a rare moment he sincerely thanked Subaru when she congratulated him. However, the last thing he said to piss Teana off was-
"I'll be going ahead first... Just as I said I would Your dream... I'll be taking it "
Subaru could only restrain her partner for 10 seconds while Fenix made a run for it.
Sky's the Limit
Once he entered the Air Force, he comes to realized the hard way as to why very few mages could join. The instructors demand mastery over the flight spell, something that Fenix (In all irony) still have problems with. His Acceleration control is very sloppy, and long term floating is a constant pain to manage.
For the next six months Fenix struggles to keep up with the lessons, but to no avail. He hs two months to put his act together, or be sent back to Ground.
Knowing of his predicament, Leti asked former Enforcer Chrono Haralown for a favor; To help train him the same way the Lieze twins trained him, she would even pull strings to get other people to cover for him during that time. Chrono eventually agreed, though it's suspicious as to why he seems so smirk about it.
Initially, Fenix refused his aid, but Chrono reminded the headstrong boy of the consequences of his failure.
"Pride is good. But I don't think you can afford it right now..."
That said, Fenix grudgingly accepted. Which began his two month spartan training... Which is basically almost all the crazy stunt Chrono had gone through, but much more compacted and nothing funny about.
But it did the job, not only is he able to control his flight spell alot better, but was also recommedated for the 'AAA' ranked examination.
"Red vs Red"
He took the exam on the day before his 15th birth date.
During the examination, Fenix scored well for his written exam, though nothing outstanding and was one of the middle few who took the paper. He was barely able to pull off his wide area fire-base spell, and nearly lost control of it midway.
During his combat sparring however, his original examiner had called in sick that day. And as it turns out, his replacement is none other than Vita.
The two of them immediately got off on a bad start, badmouthing each other.
Throughout the fight, it was obvious that Vita had the upper hand, her moves overpowers his quite often. But after the training with Chrono, Fenix's combat instincts and will to live became alot stronger.
The match was stopped when both Fenix and Vita lost their devices and had their fist inches away from the other's face.
He was reprimanted for his reckless and aggressive behaviour, but he manages to passed by showing excellent combat skills, even Vita vouched for him in that.
After which he was assigned to a Navy special forces division as a Striker to the far planet that is experiencing civil unrest. He met with Chrono again on one of his missions, this was during the day of the Ground Center attack.

"The power of the Divine Sky was so great that in order to contain it, it had to be split into night and day- the Lunar Setter guarding the night while the Solar Settter guarded the day..."
Those words from Earlian legends were the most basic description of the history of the Divine Sky Sapphire. It was from the time of the twelve kingdoms war, when the first True Meister Otome, Fumi Himeno arose to stop all of the violence and ended the war, thus establishing the current nations of the planet during the present day, when Arika first came to WindBloom.
But contrary to popular legend, Fumi did not fight alone. She had three of her closest friends on her side during battle as well. These three other friends though were never known and by their own choice had strayed away from the light of history- some say that Fumi was chosen among the four since she had a clear objective to fight- and that the three others were just helping her- and thus they said that she deserved the place.
When Fumi died of childbirth though, these three other friends again reappeared and arranged for her to be continually remembered in history- to continue what she had started, a school to train women to become empowered, and become guardians of the new world she had created out of chaos- the school that came to be known as Garderobe. It was simple, turn Fumi into the eternal host and "mother" of all the nanomachines that every student has, a much more simple process than the "personalized" nanobots that students have before Fumi died. But such a simple plan had drawbacks as well, for if Fumi's remains be destroyed or be controlled in some way, the nanobot will become useless to the cause- and so the three formulated a plan- that each of them will become a "mother" as well, just in that case. and one by one, the other two passed from life, leaving the last one, the holder of the Divine Sky Sapphire to take care of things.
She had other plans to ensure the continuity of the plan, that is to continue on to live and oversee the three founders- the active Fumi and the dormant two- but in order to do that, she would need not just to keep her body in a state of existence, but for her soul and an energy source to keep it running. The robe was perfect container to keep her body and soul in, but it's power was limited to the physical age of the person wielding it, as it draws power from the Administration Satellite and varies with cell age. There was only one way to curcumvent the power problem, that is to use another power source- seemingly impossible but the most practical way. By some unknown process she had the GEM split into two, one of them the current Sky Blue Sapphire- which can gather energy from the star normally- though uses very little of it- as later on it was found out that it gathers solar energy, and the Night Sky Sapphire, the one that can gather energy from the Sky Blue's insane excesses.
And with that arrangement, as a final act, she slipped the Sky Blue into the GEM line, destined for a Meister of the capital- and then... Rena Sayers enrolled into the academy. And the rest was history, until Arika was born though.
When the Sky Blue finally passed from Mother to Daughter, the now artifically animated fourth founder had sensed the drastic increase in energy and during the time of "Fumi running berserk", even the two other backup founders were powerless, managing only short bursts of power remote connections via the Surrogate System- well they have died virgins so there was no way of matching Fumi's full capabilites in becoming hosts. When Fumi calmed down though, this fourth founder began the search for the current owner of the Sky Blue and thus its agents were also dragged into the Second Great War.

Robes:
Being an Otome, she is blessed by an infusion of nanomachines in her system, but being a meister, she can activate without the limitations of the founder, as she can rely on her master to activate and materialize. but when she fully acquired the Divine Sky though, she can materialize on her own.
Robe of Twilight: The first Meister robe that she materialized, termed by experts as an 'incomplete and imperfect robe', since the reason why the true robe never materialized is that during the time, her mother's nanobots were still active as integrative matrices for the N-Type Slaves and GEMs for the Black Valkyies. But when her mother's body was destroyed, they all thought that it would be restored, it was- but this robe somehow became the default- a phenomenon that made some speculate.
Robe of the Blue Sky: Also known as the Zwei Robe, this robe is the true form of the Blue Sky. Even though this robe was powerful, it had limtations as well, later in the second great war, it breaks, after being overstressed against several lambda fields, making all fully realize the limitations of just technology alone. It was also in this battle that The True Night Robe also materializes and the awakening of the maiden's Linker Core.

Skills:
Dicta: These are in a common sense, the common spells / skills of a combat maiden.
Bolt from the Blue: Arika's Standard linear AoE attack, seen many times in records- though no one asks if the targets hit by this skill are either blown up or sucked into someplace else.
Crasei-resida (Ancient MC for Combat Dance) : An almost dancelike attack, usually executed in the middle of a mob.
Fuuken (Wind sword): Drawing upon the Divine Sky's power, Arika can create a lengthy blade of wind and can use it in a manner of ways.
Skybolt: Almost a Nanohaic version of Divine Buster, but with a much thinner if not almost linelike beam, that acts like the line the bolt from the blue draws.

Miryoku (Beautiful Power): According to sacred Otome Novella, this is termed as "the awakening of a maiden's beautiful fighting spirit". While the AX has branded it as "Otome Abilites infused with Linker Core Energy"- making these attacks, in the Nanoha sense, magical. The first occurence of this was with Arika, when her linker core suddenly awakened and managed to conduct magical energy thru her unique second generation nanomachinery, enabling the defeat of several lambda slaves.
Aoiro Suisei Ranbu (hyper blue comet dance): basically the visual multiplication of the Meister, but the visual clones having corporeality, and thus able to attack along with the user. An improved version has a reduced number of clones, but each can act independently of the meister.

Mugen Aoiro Suisei Ranbu (eternal hyper blue comet dance / unlimted blue comet works): Basically a massive ASR version, this sacrifices attack power and control with numbers- it's more like a bombardment spell rather than a straight fight, even though Arika fights with the enemy in the storm of what is basically energy shots from an opened 'gate', similar to the "gate of babylon".

Friaden Actium (Ancient MC for Dazzling Action): Basically, A spell based on ASR, but instead of the visual clones attacking, they serve to distract the enemy, while Arika phases in and out, switching places with an illusion- bringing out a flash in the process- the thing is, that other illusions are also switching places with each other, bringing in more flashes, and hence the enemy is 'blinded'.
Fuuken Hakushinissen (Wind sword- Draw Flash): A much faster version of the Fuuken.
Fuukai Tenchou (Efflorescent Zenith): AoE Attack, around user- unknown effect and casting.
Hochrotes Blutkreuz (Crimson Blood Cross): Linear AoE attack- unknown effect and casting. Details to be released.

Nonaha grinned as the swarm parted around the four Knights. "X marks the spot!"

Kha, drenched in sweat from focus, glanced over his shoulder.
"UTEH!" Nonaha cackled, her face a twist of madness.
Silent Heart screamed to life and launched the enormous volley down on the surprised Knights, her Master laughing all the way. The Buster faded, leaving a dark cloud of smoke fogging the battlefield below.
[Life remains still.] Silent Heart commented.
"Nani?!" Nonaha yelled. And true enough, when the dust cloud settled, the Wolkenritter remained standing beneath a shimmering tetrahedron of blue. Nanoha, Fate and Hayate found themselves under one as well.
As the drone swarm thinned, the floating Cleric-knight came into her sights.
"Kono..." She growled and whirled around, bringing Raging Heart up to her shoulder. "Don't interfere!"
Another Reflection Buster exploded out. Kha barely flinched as 6 Kreuz moved into formation around him and blazed with spellpower. The defensive hedron-esque matrix intercepted the Buster easily.
"Ore no gekai..." Kha hissed, then snapped his eyes open. "Kore wa toppa nai!"
(Translation: "My barriers... You're not breaking through them!" - But I think I got the Jap wrong somewhere... )
You guys know I've been enthralled with Amuro for years now, so...
I dropped this because Nonaha was OOC apparently. However, with a litte work, I think it goes to explain why Nanoha had bits. It was after all, Kha's most powerful attack, and just like Fate copying Kha's dual-wielding, apparently so did Nanoha.
But I in turn was copying Amuro...
Why were the Aces pinned?
Anyway, sounds viable... More tricks to learn from Kha?

Description/Background/History:
History: Created by a "Doctor" for wanting a child. He based this child as Caro Ru Lushe. He gave This child the magic powers as Caro Ru Lushe. She was created at the age of 2 and was taught magic young so she could be able to be at a high rank when she get older. She lived with the Doctor for 2 years then the "Doctor" saw what she could do so he tried making more children and traing them to make a army and taking over Mid-Childa. He tried to give Miharu so much magic powerr when he did experiments on her . He got so greedy of wanting more power he went wrong with Miharu making a side of her she didn't want. When he released that side of her and giving it so much power "she" felt like it didn't need him and killed him. Miharu took back over her body and saw the Doctor dying on the ground and say "Go find you sister ,Caro Ru Lushe". When she had realized that the side was still there she allowed "her" to stay cause she didn't want to kill someone. Miharu went with her dragon Rii to find her sister but she didn't have any food or money so she hid in a lab on a rainday. Later that a scientist found her and captured as she was put into a cell with other children the were artificail mages. They did experiments on her with the other children and saw what she had of her other side. They experimented on her for a year. They tried to bring out her other side to experiments with and when they did they made it more powerful and had one of their pervouis experiments put into her to see what would happen. They called Miharu "Dark Winged". When the TSAB found out what they were doing they went and shut them down. But they used their experiments to fight back. The scientists had lost and Miharu and the other children were found unconscious on the floor. Caro had found Miharu on the floor unconscious . Caro had been visiting her and her dragon everyday while she was still unconscious
Habits/Hobbies: Playing, Befriending Lutecia, following Erio, Helping Caro, eat cookies, going on missions, training, riding Rii, love to drink caramel milk. Going to the Saint Church and see Charim-onee-chan. Shy around people she doesn't know, and learning magic from Hayate. She takes care of ingured animals and plays with them too.
Personality/Behaviour pattern: She's usally quite but around her freinds she like to act like herself. She usally follows Erio around cause he does intresting things . She likes to sometimes befriend Lutecia cause she can what happening between Erio and Caro. She'll get sad when someone metions her father ,but will fake smile saying its ok. She's scared of ghost stories or scay movies. She loves to try to cook cookies for her Onee-chan and Erio. She always give presents to the people who are nice to her. She likes to go to sleep early with Rii. She also likes to play with animals.
Professional background: After getting found by Caro she went to TSAB academy she graduted in half a year cause she was very well skilled. She trains everyday and will go to very private meetings with Hayate since her secrect rank she doesnt know about. She can use B+ rank magic but with her Limiter she use C+ magic. She does know she has "her" but not "it".
Fighting style:
She usally just gives boosts up and will sometimes have Rii goes into his true form ,but when needs to she'll take out a large sharp Sickle and will fight her enemy . She knows some of Erio's moves (like: Sonic Move, Stahlmesser, Luftmesser.)
Armor:
Miharu's armor has 3 layers(not inculding the jacket) The first layer is white dress that starts 2 inches above her chest all the way down 7 inches past her thys with white underwear. Next is navy blue top that starts 1 inches under the first layer and down to her waist that is spagitti strap. And the 3rd layer is a pink dress that is 2 inches longer then the white dress. The pink dress has 4 buttons to keep it closed. She has gloves just like Caro does and her shoes are a like too. She has 1 long navy sock on her left leg and a shorter sock that go to her calf on her right leg. She has A white barrier jacket with cape. Her jacket has a long sleeve on her right arm and a short sleeve on her left arm. She has 2 little ponytails that are navy and has a metal ring to hold ger hair up but some hair is left down.
Miscellaneous equipment:
Her sickle that is black and and has a pink sphere on it.
Device(s): Kerixion
Kerixion is a very intellgnt AI. Shari had it made that Miharu can hold out her hand(with her gloves on) and her sickle will come out. Kerixion speaks the language english. There is another version of Kerixion but its only when "She comes out".
Storage mode : It is stored in a bracelet with 2 pink round spheres and 2 black little chimes connected. The words "set-up" activates the device
Offensive spells:
Stahlmesser: A blade of magical energy extends itself from Kerixion's tip and is then used to cut the target.
Luftmesser: Using magic to compress and accelerate the air around Kerxion, Miharu creates blades of wind and throws them at the target.
Tairyoo Slicer: Kerixion gives a large boost to the blade of the sickle and do 10-15 large slashes and up to 6 inches wide and 48 inches long.
Flare Suraisu: It's a combanation with Rii her dragon. Rii gets a blast of fire and spits onto Miharu's sickle and miharu can do slashes of fire. The fire boost ups the attack it is much stronger. (AA attack)
Blast Flare: Not a real spell, but actually Rii's inherent fire-breathing ability boosted by Miharu's magic.
Blast Rain: A variation of the Blast Flare used while Rii is in his true form. Unlike the orignal, Blast Rain is very strong, With a destructive power in par with an AA magic attack. Caro tought this attack to Miharu for Rii.
Defensive spells:
Shield: A multi-layer shield that shields himself or any target from conventional spells and lower powered bombardment or long-range spells. Shaped as a dome, this spell protects said spells from any directions.
3-point shield: A triangular shield with smaller circles at the 3 points (much like a casting rune) that shields Miharu from 1 direction. Miahru holds on either of her palm up to cast this spell. The spell rune is Miharu’s height.
Active Protection : Miahru's variation of the basic Protection magic. It seems to be more tuned to defend against attacks from a single direction. Caro tought this to Miharu.
Summons :
Dragon Soul Summon: In order to keep Rii always by her side and, at the same, time have his true powers available when necessary, Miharu makes use of the Dragon Soul Summon spell. With this magic, she can seal away Rii's real form and strength and then temporally summon them back when they are needed.
Dragon Mount Summon: The magic that summons Alzas' guardian dragon: the Black Flame Dragon, Voltaire. Its important to be aware that Voltaire is a ancient creature of great power that only allows himself to be summoned when there is real need to. Miharu is able to summon him cause the "Doctor" had put that she was able to someone clones of him. She can summon more the one clone of Volitire.
Wrought Iron Summon: This spell allows Miharu to summon, transmute and control any inorganic matter on the nature. Although not restricted to it, the form of a chain is Miharu's favorite cause Caro had tought her this. She also calls this variation Alchemic Chain. Caro had also tought her this.
Support/Boost/Mobility spells:
Boost up: Miharu's and Kerixion's exclusive Increase-type Support magic. Each variation raises only one single and specific attribute. (Caro had tought her all the boost ups and supports, etc. spells)
Barret Power: - Increase the destructive power of a target's Shooting Magic. It does not help the attack penetrate certain defenses.
Strike Power: As the name suggests, the target's striking power for meele attacks is increased
Enchant Defense Gain: Increases one's defensive power
Enchant Up Field Invade: This spell grants the target the capacity to penetrate a Field-type magic defense and negate its effects.
Energy Boost: This magic allows Miharu to assist another mage in his/her spellcasting.
Physical Heal: Basic healing magic, it is meant to treat minor injuries only.
Twin Boost: Slash & Strike: Not an really a magic, but actually the capacity of casting two Boost Up spells simoultaneously

Born into Lowran family, Fenix has been brought up on a diet of Military training and studies ever since he could walk and read. He was always compared to with his cousin, Griffith, hence spark a small rivary between them.
Griffith, though having no magical potential, excelled in his studies and was signed up into the Bureau as soon as he came to age. Fenix however, did not have that excuse and was struggling to keep up with both subjects. He ended up taking 1-2 years longer before his parents would allow him to sign up.
Fenix had a borderline passing grade for his magical studies, but was rather impressive to an extend in his mage training.
"Academy"
Fenix was originally assigned to the same 'class' as both Subaru and Teana. He was rather arrogant and rude to his follow trainees, though never once did he brought up his family name. His usual boasting is always about what he himself is capable of doing, and he had never say anything that he couldn't, wouldn't, didn't do.
His personality and combat style are aggressive and more than once did he lock horns with Teana, usually for mocking her lack of power to attain her dreams.
"Forget it, you're just too weak..."
Fenix graduated within a year when he completed the 'A' ranked examination and was deemed 'Overqualified' by his instructors. He was to be transfered to the Air Force Training school. In a rare moment he sincerely thanked Subaru when she congratulated him. However, the last thing he said to piss Teana off was-
"I'll be going ahead first... Just as I said I would Your dream... I'll be taking it "
Subaru could only restrain her partner for 10 seconds while Fenix made a run for it.
Sky's the Limit
Once he entered the Air Force, he comes to realized the hard way as to why very few mages could join. The instructors demand mastery over the flight spell, something that Fenix (In all irony) still have problems with. His Acceleration control is very sloppy, and long term floating is a constant pain to manage.
For the next six months Fenix struggles to keep up with the lessons, but to no avail. He hs two months to put his act together, or be sent back to Ground.
Knowing of his predicament, Leti asked former Enforcer Chrono Haralown for a favor; To help train him the same way the Lieze twins trained him, she would even pull strings to get other people to cover for him during that time. Chrono eventually agreed, though it's suspicious as to why he seems so smirk about it.
Initially, Fenix refused his aid, but Chrono reminded the headstrong boy of the consequences of his failure.
"Pride is good. But I don't think you can afford it right now..."
That said, Fenix grudgingly accepted. Which began his two month spartan training... Which is basically almost all the crazy stunt Chrono had gone through, but much more compacted and nothing funny about.
But it did the job, not only is he able to control his flight spell alot better, but was also recommedated for the 'AAA' ranked examination.
"Red vs Red"
He took the exam on the day before his 15th birth date.
During the examination, Fenix scored well for his written exam, though nothing outstanding and was one of the middle few who took the paper. He was barely able to pull off his wide area fire-base spell, and nearly lost control of it midway.
During his combat sparring however, his original examiner had called in sick that day. And as it turns out, his replacement is none other than Vita.
The two of them immediately got off on a bad start, badmouthing each other.
Throughout the fight, it was obvious that Vita had the upper hand, her moves overpowers his quite often. But after the training with Chrono, Fenix's combat instincts and will to live became alot stronger.
The match was stopped when both Fenix and Vita lost their devices and had their fist inches away from the other's face.
He was reprimanted for his reckless and aggressive behaviour, but he manages to passed by showing excellent combat skills, even Vita vouched for him in that.
After which he was assigned to a Navy special forces division as a Striker to the far planet that is experiencing civil unrest. He met with Chrono again on one of his missions, this was during the day of the Ground Center attack.
Adding the description for his two barrier Jacket modes later... Lunch now...
Attitude, background, relationships, image, device... APPROVED!
I can't wait to see him interacting with Teana and Vita.

N smirked to himself as a hid behind a pillar, glancing down at himself. His suit was bloodied from the shots that had managed to strike him, and the front of his body ached, as if something else, too, was damaged. Nevertheless, he still kept his fighting spirit.
"I'll commend you, Snake", he said, in an air of heartiness. He slid six new bullets into the chamber of his firearms whilst talking. "It's been a long time since I've had such a good fight..."
In a swift movement, he revealed himself to his adversary, spinning out from behind his cover and taking aim at the orange-haired agent. N's words were now a bellow.
"But I'm just getting warmed up!"
Teana sought hiding as N moved to fire, but there was no click of the trigger, or any bang signifying that the gunslinger had loosed off a shot. Instead, there was a whistling, as of some unknown object cutting through the air, and both N and Teana heard a thud followed by a sickening gush of claret and a scream.
That scream was from the revolver-wielder, who looked down, his face pale with shock, at his left arm, its hand lying disconnected on the floor still grasping one of the weapons N held.
"M...my HAND?!"
Teana averted her eyes from this sight when she saw a flash, and the wires criss-crossing the room were all severed in an instant. The explosives went off, a orange-colored blast culminating which sent her opponent hurtling back into a wall. He slumped against it, and raised his head weakly. Meanwhile, Regius, once tied, fell to the ground, somehow unharmed by the deadly explosion.
The attacker revealed himself, pacing towards "Ocelot"- a figure clad in black from head to toe with a had of brown hair, wearing a clearly distinguishable mask forged from porcelain. In its right hand, it held a knife, caked in fresh blood, droplets of the liquid dripping off the blade.
N grimaced as he gazed upon the unknown assailant. "T...that mask...are you always this persistent?!" He glared at Teana, and picked himself up off the floor in a hurry, stumbling as he exited through a hole in the wall. "You were lucky this time...I assure you, we'll cross paths again!"
The black-garmented character stood motionless. Teana, done with witnessing what had just happened, took the initiative to move over to the newcomer, her device raised, pointed at the new arrival's back.
"Who are you?", she inquired, warily.
The masked one turned slowly to face her. The mage was somewhat disturbed at the sight of the ever-smiling mask the character wore, but still tried to keep her wits about herself. It's reply was cool, yet stern, and its voice was cold.
"I am like you...", it stated.
Teana was puzzled and about to respond when the character continued.
"I have no name."
Again, altered dialogue in some areas, amongst other things... But do tell me what you all think.

A portion of the mantle forms a rough protection over his head, the rest of it spreads out like a wing shape pattern. Fenix is able to reach sonic speeds with this, the flaming star cause when he flies as well as the loud 'screaming' is what gives it it's name.
However, Fenix is unable to stop or go slower than a certain velocity in this mode. His armor and melee capabilities are also reduced, but in return he gains a bunch of powerful long to extreme range spells.
Definitely more balanced. So his speed is either slow or sonic in Starscream mode?

You said it yourself. As far as StrikerS goes. I don't make these kind of comparisons, really. Just as seeing the Sonic Form + Riot Zamber thing doesn't make me think that Ep. 24 became better than what it was because stuff like that was superficial. Just like Blaster Mode. I value execution of drama in battles far more than cheap trump cards that only oh so-apparently stresses them badly.
Which is why I find characters like Jail and Quattro very likable within StrikerS context. I don't really give a damn about how 'moe' or likable, or stuff like that about the characters. What values to me is how the characters work within the context of the setting, and despite not being of full potential, Jail and Quattro were 2 pair that managed to make me feel that watching StrikerS was worth it. Just like Subaru and Teana. But I cannot say the same for a lot of other characters.
As far as I'm personally concerned, it was very weak. Better than some of the rest, but that's not saying much. Anyway, that's my personal view.

I know it's Limit Break and she's strong, but she's only AAA+. I had hoped that the ship's reactor would actually have defensive capabilities that ranked SSS at least. And that Hayate would be the one to finish the job that Vita helped in cracking.

That sounds similar to Keroko's Hyperdrive spell, except that Keroko can't manouver when the spell is active.

Ok, not exactly the most original but I don't want to stray too far from what's accepted. I realize that there's a lot of work to be done with my OCs and I'll make any changes where necessary. However I can't do this without feedback.
I know I'm new here and all, but I feel kind of left out really. =|
Anyway the device is probably the most unoriginal part there is. But when I thought of the device of my OC, I kept thinking and was looking around and it just hit me that a sword with a revolver in it (for the cartridge system) just had to be a gunblade. It just fits perfectly I guess.
Of course I think a little bit of adjustment is in order, so the original Griever is only a model. But basically that's what I'm looking at, except it being a straight hilt and minus the gun trigger.
Now I shall once again...*pochitto* *cowers in fear after clicking on submit button*
I like what you've done with Jean, linking her desire to be part of the TSAB in with your other OC. Her spells are well balanced and give her a nice capabilty in combat. No problems with the device either, sometimes the best thing that is closest to the model you want will be something that is widely known. *shrug* Who cares. If it fit's use it, What I don't like is blatant copying where the weapon, person, down to their attacks and personality are the same as someone else. So no problems on that front.
Don't worry about not having original ideas.... It doesn't matter if the concepts are generic, its about how you use them in your own way...+ it's quite hard to create something that someone hasn't already created (if not in the thread, elsewhere) so basically everything is a rip-off of something else...
That's about all the feedback I can give... I'll second Keroko's comment that while the profiles are a good start, not much can be said about them as they are.. It's a lot easier to see how they work in a snippet of sorts. (It doesn't even have to be very long either..)

Thanks for the comments. I tried to keep it as simple as possible, with only 2 different POV's thorughout... Obviously I'll have to see what I can do. Actually, I'm currently trying to improve on the changes in perspective to make it clearer to the reader with location mentions or having the name of the point of view at the start of each change. I'll be moving over to third person once this ficlet is all done, so hopefully that will adress any problems in the future. (Although writing it will be another thiing entirely..)

While I was a bit worried when you mentioned the fact that she has the mana equivalent to 5 mages, my fears were unfounded. A nice detailed character as well as a nicely balanced system for her to use.
The node system. I assume that they're capable of being destroyed? Makes for a handicap as she'd have to withdraw if the 8 separate nodes get destroyed.
I like her alot Her fighting style is similar to one of my own OC's, maybe that's why, although he's slightly different in not having any ranged attacks at all... Well unless he throws his device at the enemy..
Is she free during the break between episodes 9 and 10? If she is I may have a use for her helping out in the next part of my ficlet.

No complaints from me... Although I'm interested in where the 'doctor' managed to find the genetic material needed for such a clone.... This is assuming that Caro has her health checks and such on base.. meaning that such material would be hard to get hold of.

I'm actually conflicted in this area, though I do agree with your idea. One one hand I like the fact that Vita's efforts weren't in vain. On the other hand, it made Hayate's arival pretty moot. I too was hoping for the 'Vita makes a crack, Hayate finishes the job'
But really... I was hoping episode 25 could cheer me up from my recent depression... It didn't work out as well as I hoped...
If I were to be honest with myself, I really didn't expect much of episode 25, but I'm sticking to it to see if they reveal anything that I could use

Hmmm... Think about it this way, in Executioner mode, he's about Schach's level... And he uses melee to mid range spells. He can fly and float, but it's barely standard.
In Starscream mode, he's literally a fighter jet He's spells are all long to extreme range missile type, and his fire power increases. But he stop stop flying and he can't cast defensive spells... Except maybe to protect himself from the G-force, heat and sound.
