probably funny if the toy fair or magazine scan shows us what color is the Flauros' paint scheme on the finished gunpla & it happens to be a familiar pinkish-red color thus its given pilot.

Well, considering that Barbatos was found in the same manner and probably in similar area, I don't think it's that farfetched especially when Tekkadan has just received the mining area. Also, it's possible that Tekkadan just got themselves a "rich" soil which used to be a battlefield where Gundams were fighting MAs to the death and finally buried and "fossilized" mid-action like the fossils of a group of Raptors which are found surrounding a Sauropod fossil which was their prey. But yeah, the timing is quite convenient even though the setting makes sense.

I bet the ground is also full of "normal" Mobile Suits from the Calamity War.

Question is whether "normal" suits were durable enough to survive that long...

Well the Rodi frames and the pirate ones (forgot the MS and frame names) have been around for super long/are continued to be salvaged/restored

I think the answer to the question is yes for the most part. I think the main thing is how much they cost to be made into working order again

Aren't Rodi space type that seems like much more machinery friendly environment than Mars with its sandstorms and stuff.

Hugo, and the Frame is called Hexa Frame (I hope we are going to see some different MS on this Frame in the future).

And I think you are correct. Look at the Geirails used by Arbrau. These MS were made during the Calamity War (they predate the Graze).

BTW, the official website posted an entry for the Tekkadan transport ship

Looks like a new Gundam frame has been revealed, ASW-G-63 Gundam Andras (here) Things concerning it are spoilerish, so I'm putting the info on it and its pilot under the spoiler tag.
Spoiler for spoiler on it:

Fake, all fake.

Yeah, that's already been shown off here. It's fake. Notice how the pilot is a photoshop of Eugene.

Phew. And here I was getting excited and scared at the same time at possible insane plot developments. Thanks for the clarification.

The Rodi Frames themselves are pretty versatile. The HG Man Rodi manual mentioned that the frame has no special characteristics and as a result, have no peculiarities either and became versatile. In this sense, they're similar to the Gundam Frames in that they're very versatile and you can mold them to specialize in whatever you want.

The Man Rodi though is a Rodi Frame unit that was made to specialize in space combat. The Garm Rodi however used by the Dawn Horizon Corps was seen to be used on Mars I believe and I think is meant to be a more general and versatile unit than the space-centric Man Rodi.

I don't recall the Geirails as being confirmed of being of Calamity War era suits. They predate the Graze of course but the Graze are fairly new units in the large scheme of things.

They were also Gjallahorn's mainline units right before the Graze was introduced and some local Gjallajorn organizations still use them.

For a second, I mistook that as a Knightmare Frame.

Hmm, I like it. I thought it would be more purplish shade, but the bright blue is nice.

Oh, this does look nicer that I thought it would, I'm loving that shade of azure blue. Though, since it's not pink(ish), I'm starting to doubt Shino will get it (unless he's expressly forbidden by Orga or Teiwaz to customize the paintjob to his favorite pink?) Hush then...

Oh, that's not the one they found in the mine (Gundam Flauros), that is Gundam Vidar, which will be piloted by--well, Vidar. aka Gali-Gali

^ Oh, my bad. Then there's still hope for Shino, yay! (I think I will be disappointed if a complete newcomer like Hush gets a Gundam from the start just like that over Shino, full-blown shounen protag style)
