I liked the series. it's one of the good ones for spring season but I would have prefered if the whole mutant rodent didn't' happen. The unnecessary drama isn't forced into the viewers and they should have continued with the training exercise in the beginning. I would probably enjoy it more. I still liked the series but they are trying to hard for me to appreciate it. I liked the idea of adding some unexpected plot twist but it didn't mesh well with the story.

I rather liked this series. But I feel like I somehow missed some important points. I'm re-watching now, but I can't for the life of me recall an explanation of why the Sarushima sank when it was hit with nothing but a dummy shell.

Started a few days ago and now on episode 8. This show is surprisingly enjoyable.
![]() Although the plot armor is going really strong.. they get shot at since the start of episode 1 and still no casualties or any major damage to their ship. O_O

But that might depend on sales (Which sad to say, it stopped at 8k+)

Also, our fearless crew needs a boat, seeing that the Harekaze is at the bottom of the harbor presently... so they either raise and refurbish Harekaze (with the next re-fit including a Soviet era 13.5" naval recoilless rifle mounted on the stern, just because Akashi has one in a crate somewhere), or give them another "paper" Kagero to man.

Finished it a few days ago, and I've got to say I enjoyed Haifuri a lot more than I thought I would, going beyond "cute girls on a ship" to actually have a plot that kept me excited for the next episode, even if there were a few plot holes here and there, and I agree, the plot armor is just incredible. 8/10 Or in other words, needs more brown sugar XD! Edit: I think I've found you're Brown Sugar Fix! Or at least the part that mangatron is interested in. Last edited by SPARTAN 119; 2016-07-20 at 23:42. |

Thinking again.. the mood in this show would probably feel a lot different if even one person in their ship got shot to pieces, so I'm glad that the plot armor is there. Quote:
