Yeah, its the same art style that was used for episode 04 - though this time around some scenes do suit whats going on. Anyway, i'm a guy that doesn't depend on art alone.. so onto the episode:
Yet again, Gonzo have done a wonderful job. They wrapped up a lot of the lose ends that started to appear around episode 18.. and seem to have got Misaki & Satou's friendship back onto normal tracks. Now.. time to talk about the main part of the episode - Satou's talk with Kobayashi's brother. Just like in the manga, the heart to heart feel was there all the way, that for me made the scene feel much more real then it could have been. You're un-human if you don't at least shed a few tears at this scene.. it could break anyone - i'm sure thats the edge they where going for. I won't talk about anything else on this episode.. 'cause it'll be fun to find out for yourself. :3 The preview for episode 20 'Welcome to the Winter Day!' doesn't really give much away as to what kind of ending they're headed for, though i'm sure something should come from the episode next week. Though.. there is something that happens in the preview thats gotten me in 'fan-girl' mode, though i'll talk about that after a few of you have seen the episode.

Looks like they jumped to chapter 27 for some of the material in eps 19. And, if my bablefish from the main site is correct in eps 20...
Spoiler:
I beleive that the last 3-4 episodes will focus on Misaki and her problems. It makes sense to use this for the series' climax. Last edited by js1956; 2006-11-13 at 03:26. Reason: can't gret spoiler tags to work - [got them!] |

ep 18 was kind of heartbreaking the way it ended with Ms Prez's brother cringing in the corner screaming for her and Satou and Yamazakis realization of who he was. I guess were getting pretty close to the end Im hoping for a good ending but right now im just biding my time till Hitomi makes her appearence again. I cant wait to get back to her situation

Its true that i heard her first in the opening season for Tsubasa Chronicle, but whenever i see Sakura, or watch a bit of Aria, i always think Misaki.
