so far we the series have only covered 3 volumes (haven't reached volume 4 yet). As for the novel, so far there have been 7 volumes, with speculations that the 8th will be the final (no official information yet).

Assuming the next episode concludes volume 3 of the novel, and the pace is 3-4 eps per volume, there will be no space for fillers. Probably not even for the 8th volume. Maybe they just improvise it like what they did to Toradora

Yep, especially the people who don't like her will rip her apart. Well, once again she shows her issues of being left alone which drives her to extremes. I hope for her that she manages to get that under control. However, she has also shown her good sides in this episode, this shouldn't get lost under the negatives.

As for Banri, I am kind of speechless at this last reaction and with his tendency to keep his mouth closed it can lead to an ugly situation with Kouko (the preview didn't look good...). As for Linda saying she would have said no, I said from the beginning that I believe she would have said no (or a very forced yes), but with that part in the beginning where she says that she speaks the opposite of what she truly means one can only wonder...

At the light novel she never says what her answer would be at the bridge. Just that they weren't dating. He doesn't even know he had confessed. One time she told him she didn't like him that way back then, she had her eyes covered so that Banri doesn't see her expression, the flash back scene where she says she is stupid and sometimes says the opposite of what she thinks was added exactly at that point.

Seems like the ghost of Banri is actually going to be a pain to deal with. Is that guy going to try and force Banri and Linda together so he can kind of creepily hang around the person he loves? Well I suppose pure isolation can drive plenty of people looney, but still...Kind of weird there. Maybe a mindset of "well it's my body, and that's better than Linda ending up with some other guy?"

Not a bad episode. That Banri impression of Kouko was so damn good it was creepy as hell . Besides the Banri and Linda chat, the Kouko and Chinami scene was pretty good. Really wonder what's hanging behind that cheerful as hell facade Chinami has up. Not that I'd say she was wrong there, just a bit weird how she went into a pretty...darkish mood for a moment.

Of course that hidden picture is just going to blow up in Banri's face at some point. Hiding his past and his connection to Linda is going to really cause them trouble eventually.

In some ways I don't doubt what Linda said. I could see her just going ahead and saying no. Regardless of what her true feelings were. If it was true she'd say no, if she did love him she'd probably still say no. Hard to say if Old Banri just read too much into Linda's words in the past. Is not liking someone at all the opposite of love or just the opposite of considering them your most precious friend?

Fun how everything she said there was the truth. She didn't think of him as a man, etc. Hard to blame her though, dude was sorta pathetic.

...Or maybe she was lying at the end because Banri has a girlfriend now? I hope this is the truth. Even though it's impossible, I'm leaning more towards Banri x Linda right now.

Ok, they are trying hard to make me care for Linda when I'm trying hard to avoid it. But I'm a sucker of girls who give up for the sake of their supposed unrequited love, so I'm done. Because she clearly lied about her answer. Linda's face when faced Banri after having lied about her feeling with her schoolmates was quite eloquent about her true feelings. Even her perseverance later on. And her last speech.
Banri instead hasn't lost the habit to escape from her. Poor Linda. She even was in the next room during their party.

Obviously the way Banri/Kouko relationship is developing, or not developing, doesn't help. Something clearly is off and I hope Mitsuo and Oka (with her Okamera ) will start dating to make it more clear to them and Banri in particular.

I keep not liking Kouko at all when she deals with Oka. It came off really over the top again. But somehow I got the feeling that it was meant to set it out, I mean, like bonding time. But in any case if she had broken the okamera I would never have forgiven her!! You know, okameras are really expensive.

Anyways hilarious as always especially with Banri playing Mitsuo's boyfriend and even 2D-kun later at the park.

The possession moment instead worries me a lot. I hope they would not go further with that.

This is what I am thinking also. Banri only brought up the issue on the bridge but not about what Linda said to the girls being "the opposite" of what she really meant. Banri already has a girlfriend, and Linda seems like a really caring woman so I can picture Linda standing on the sideline cheering for him at her own expense. Reminds me of this song.

Quite the episode. More of Linda and Banri's back story have been revealed, and the "ghost" from Banri's past is still haunting him. It's to be expected why she didn't see him as a man and to say "no" to his confession. But, I wonder, are the reasons because:

1. Banri has a girlfriend now
2. Maybe she's in love with the Banri from the past compared to the current one.

Who knows, but it seems like a part of Banri can't fully let go of Linda and his "ghost" really showed that, plus he did snap unconsciously regarding that. I wonder how his past will later come back to him in ways that seems to be really inconvenient, as it seems like it's going to affect his current relationship with Kaga in the long run. I don't want to put down the Linda x Banri mantle just yet because it seems like it's not that truly definitive as of yet.

Other than that, Banri taking a page of Kaga's book when he had to play the "boyfriend" to Mitsuo role in that scene with the busty senpai. Pretty funny.

Anyways, I can't wait to where Mitsuo and Chinami's will progress because it still hasn't been in full circle yet. I look forward to that the most since it needs work and the two need to communicate/talk things out in order to progress. "Sighs" This could take awhile!

My heart still aches for Linda, why is she still in denial? It's not that I want her to get between Koko and Banri... but she's getting annoying as well.....

About Koko.... I'm beginning to have doubts... if you REALLY love Banri for now.... but I'll still believe that you and Banri deserve each other.... it's just the ghost that annoys me...>_>

I felt really sorry for Linda in this ep. I like the fact that she admitted that she admitted her amswer was going to be "no", but I felt immensely sorry for her when she let her hair down and spoke what she essentially felt with the other girls in the high school flashback in the way, tone of voice and manner that she did. In other words, I believe her in both cases. In the latter I think she was pained because she let herself say some pretty nasty things, whether or no she "actually" had elements of romantic interest. She may have had them, but had no context or even "room" or "place" to put them in a way that it would make sense to her.

Whatever the case, Banri is... well, in a certain way playing "footsie" - although the problem is that it is intertwined with... umm... existential dilemnas, I guess? It will be tough on Kouko. Wouldn't be surprised at all, for example, if she were actually awake for part or all of the conversation between Linda and Banri at the end there. Knowing her insecure, impulsive and possesive habits I dread how she will react - and if the preview is to be believed it will be hard for her....

I am beginning to wonder whether or no the ghost is a personification of his forgotten self, almost like a driving force or a "subconscious" of sorts that somehow "demands being properly assimilated" or integrated into who Banri has become since the accident.... And every once in a while it almost "takes over" for a sec, on a rush of intense impulse or the like....

That sudden (immature) outburst was all cuz Ghost Banri possessed his current self since he didn't like where the conversation was going.

Quick! Someone slap a paper seal on Banri's forehead and cast that vengeful spirit away!

He's a saboteur and a drama queen. Why don't you just go cry in the corner somewhere since that's what you're good at.

The situation has me on edge. Banri himself is setting things up to blow up at some point. It's not like his life has to be an open book, but it wouldn't hurt him to let Kouko in more about what's going on with him. Hiding that picture can only come back to bite him. These alone chats with Linda while perfectly harmless are just a recipee for disaster while he doesn't let Kouko know about this past connection and how he's building this friendship again.

I think Kouko has really tried to keep her attentions within a certain reasonable level and has actually tried to find out more about Banri while talking with him. He's just not revealing what's going on. I just feel bad since Kouko is bound to get hurt at some point here and even if some of it is from her own going overboard I'll probably cut her some slack.

What really worries me is this annoying Ghost Banri. There is nothing the other Banri can do about that weird stuff. Frankly I don't know what kind of limits exist for a ghost that's been isolated from communicating with anyone for a year. What does this guy really want? Is it just fine if somehow he can push Banri and Linda together? At least that way he can 'watch' the girl he likes for the rest of her life? I think regular Banri is right, he probably just wants to watch Linda sleep or something...creepy ghost. Someone call the Ghost Busters!

I'm sure we're lined up for another heavy hitting episode next week.

I think Ghost Banri is just a simple literary device used for symbolism and to give us access to information we wouldn't be privy to exactly especially when it comes to pre-Amnesia Banri's personality. I don't think there is any actually possessing going on here.
