The Ace on the Tiger II seems rather impossible.
I guess we'll need a private "study session" one of these days. Might actually buy back Tiger II just for platooning. Is yours fully researched?

It is. I had it for almost a year actually. I don't play it very often. Yesterday I played it with pen and it seems fine now. Either it got buffed or I got lucky, because I vividly remember that I used to play in an era where it could not win against an IS-3 in any distance.

The IS-3 recently got its frontal armor nerfed, if I recall correctly.

And I'm curious as to how many souls and virgins that AMX 13 90 driver had sacrificed to the RNG god to pen a Tiger II frontally from 215 meters like that. My 13 90 bounced the side of a T-44 with APCR twice yesterday. I always have the worst experiences with autoloaders.

I would say you have become better. I always fought IS-3s head on and came on top.

Well the Tiger 2 was slightly buffed with a small RoF increase on the long 10,5 and the removal of two weakspots.

I find the Tiger II to be a good but somehow boring tank. I don't play it much.

Also, revised opinion of top-tiger Japanese mediums. They seem similar to the Leopard line but with more armor and worse gun handling.

My highest XP, and presumably the Ace Tanker, in the Tiger II was 1973 XP, which is 1315 XP when the premium multiplier is removed. That was a long time ago, though. Also keep in mind that the value required to get a mastery badge will vary from week to week, which is why it's fairly easy to get a mastery badge when a new vehicle comes out, since a lot of people are going to try it out and be absolutely horrible.

What can a DW2 do? APCRs of course since normal AP rounds suck at higher tiers

I am about to start grinding for German MT lines both of them. I might as well research the Tiger II just in case if I want to play a heavy.

I killed a Tiger with my fully upgraded Hellcat and I did the right thing because the Tiger is about to have a killing a spree and that`s when I decided to kill him first

@newhope in the age of rampant premium round, it honestly normal for any tank to be easily pen'ed like that.

Or they give you something like the 88mm L/74 at Tier 5, which has ridiculous overpenetration capabilities against most of its targets before you load APCR.

Ah, the weekend:

I think the Covenanter tracked itself by ramming the Cromwell, which was bad for the Cov.

I ran up to the cliff edge overlooking the valley to spot, lit up all those guys, backed off, moved, and came back to the edge. Cue a huge storm of fire directed at my previous location... I was finally hit when I got adventurous and tried to shoot at them instead of just getting lights.

Jagdpanzer E 100 researched. Undistributed experience spent: 210,000.
'Jagdpanzer E 100' sucessfully purchased. Spent credits: 6,100,000.

Barely have enough money to equip the thing.

I had sold the VK1602 before the sale, but I went and repurchased it, along with the ELC AMX. Because sale. And my being indecisive and thinking about scouting again, even if it is crazy.

This makes the third time that I've had a 1602. Had it pre-tier-shift, sold it, got it again after the tier shift, sold it earlier in the week, and here we are now.

Come to think of it, I also had the VK2801 both before and after the tier shift, but really don't plan on getting that again.

Also, the post-WWII-design Tier 8 German scout that was rumored to follow the AFK Panther better not be some bad joke from WG.

Unless you're saying my research is a joke, it's unlikely.

A nice, small, post-Cold War design would be good. And would probably be sensible, being made after the war and after the phase of putting everything on a Panther chassis. Though most of what I'm used to is later than WoT's time period and, well, on wheels.

The AFK Panther is the least-used Tier 7 light. Being the the WoT equivalent of the CGR-1A1 Charger probably has some bearing on that.

Incidentally, the Kanonenjagdpanzer must have come up at some point.

And I do appreciate your research. My grumbling comes from the intersection of reality with game design that demonstrates the odd process of compromise.

Bought the Easy 8, so far it doesn't have the same charm as the Type 58 or Cromwell. But now I have a medium tank of every nation.
