That usually the case which is sad to know, it best to have people know the story and to buy the book to show their support, even I got the T7 up to volume 7 only so far in my bookshelf. I do take a look once in a while to check back if I say any thing wrong in here regarding T7.. Too bad I don't understand Japanese word TwT

IMO, the best move for publisher to license stuffs like this is to pick it up the latest volumes, if so they could have a reasonable "kickstart" as people like us would be happy to purchase those latest content; of course they also need to release from vol 1 for those who have not read it.

I know I know, this isn't possible, but MY GOSSSHHHH!!! It will be a few years from now for the licensed version to actually catch up with the original

if only Yen Press could translate faster

I don't know how it works but there are some series which has been licensed years ago, yet there is still a fan-translator ( Naruto, One Piece, etc) so i guess it depends on a noble soul out there who wants to pick this series up.

those guys differ..also its coz if you're server is in USA and you get hit by a DMCA..usually its a warning to some...like that of sankarea

Well, there must be a way to avoid that DMCA stuff although i don't know how.So yeah if this series becomes popular enough then there should be someone out there ,who has an experienced to outsmart DMCA willing to fully translate this series again.

One can hope.

We are perfectly happy to pay and support the authors, but the reason why we have fan-translated sites is because otherwise, we won't have any access to the materials (manga, LN...etc...)

overall, I wish there had been a system in which amateur translators can have partnership with the official japanese publisher so that they could take on and translated whichever projects they wanted whether it's novel, game, tv show. This way, both side can benefit, while we - the foreign audience can have access to those material and the publisher themselves wouldn't have to bother with the complicated process of localizing and publishing outside of Japan.

For instance, indie game developers can now directly self-publish their games on networks such as Steam or Playstation Network. I wonder if we ever get such a similar thing for LN, manga and stuff

. Crunchyroll is getting there but still

DMCA is an american law so to my knowledge you can ignore it in Europe.

It does not matter if you are in America or not, you may avoid jail by not being in America but you will probably get at least a massive fine/sanction to pay.

.... some countries don't apply "dmca" in the way you are thinking (they have their own ways to deal with this thing...
