Less than a week remaining, I think.
Looking past the vote difference between the final 2 challengers in 2010 (and maybe 1 challenger getting eliminated one round too early), I would say the results were very good. Quote:
As far as who can beat Kanade... Mikoto had a closer vote difference than Azusa against Kanade (although Azusa had more tough challengers to contend with seeding wise). Kuroneko has ongoing material due to the series extension. Whether a seiyuu split will favor the stronger of the 2 remains to be seen. If she can't beat Kanade, Kirino would have an even tougher time. Hinagiku would have to be more than just a supporting character in the Hayate movie later on to have even a remote chance. Her disadvantage is 2009 ISML.

I only seeing Kanade losing to a Kyoani character, I don't think Railgun/Index fanbase is strong enough, but I imagine Kanade will probably lose a match or two to Mio, Azu-nyan or Haruhi. Probably also one freak loss late in the season for stagedy reasons by someone like Louise for strategy purposes

Mostly depends on seeding. But, like everything else, there is bound to be a tipping point for everybody. Kanade will meet her demise sometime in Ruby, latest Diamond, earliest Emerald. And, out of everyone, I am voting on Taiga to be the first one to show her the pain of anti-votes sometime in Ruby, preferably Ruby 7. She took down Haruhi in 2009 (although Tomoyo was technically the one who stopped her winning streak back in Emerald 9) at Ruby 8 and took down Mio in 2010 at Ruby 7. This is me wistfully believing that she can pull another one this year at Ruby. Any performance earlier or later might skewer this hope.

I doubt Hina was trying to go 63-0 two years ago. I mean, wasn't she in the bottom half of the top 16 and only gained an unexpected boost in power thanks to Season 2 coming in just in time to kick her popularity up a notch when it mattered?

9:00pm even.
Well. You don't have to have a huge knowledge of Japanese culture to get most of the jokes. The character interactions are interesting. And the music has a fair range in the rock field since it feels more like 1960s rock than anything recent. There also isn't really all that much in terms of fanservice. Lastly...Yui's the star, or at least the main character we see the other's through most of the time. She's just funny enough to forgive her ADD.
