I don't get why they waste so much episodes on pointless fillers and leave the best for the last episode? Now what? The new war arc is started and they end here this season with a climax so maybe there is hope producers will continue the main plot with the movie or the 3rd season.

Peaceful Days End, and the Gear of Destiny Spins Again
So, this is the end for season two, and they messed the storyline real good with all those pointless filelrs except for episodes 7 and 8 since a bit of the dialogue helped to move things with Meteora.
The ending of the first season left me confused but thrilled with that cliffhanger involving Sasha dressed undercover as a girl at Suiren Academy back a year ago, and this season's final episode skyrocketed my expectations with so many awesome events that transpired at the last three closing minutes. The fillers in-between were bad and lots of the visual gags felt distasteful, at least to me, because I'm very sure someone found it lol hilarious. OK. So what we got here for the final episode is: Spoiler:
So, unfortunately, this second season went to the drain with the fillers for a time, and when the action really kicks back it all ends in cliffhanger mode by the twelfth episode. This has been the first title I concluded for the past spring season. BTW. Sasha's finally starting the path towards true manhood. After all that... Spoiler:

For the most part, they caught up to the manga. They left out quite a few things, but for the most part that's why they had so much filler at the end of the season. I wouldn't expect a new season until at least another 1-2 volumes come out, the next of which should be out next month. So don't expect the next season until probably next year.

And one more title that a lot of people thought would never be licensed has become licensed.
I suppose Sentai Filmworks being the ones to license it doesn't totally surprise me. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...stigmata-anime It will be amusing to see ANN's reviewing this once it does get released on DVD. |
