It is kind of hard to not complain about a series, especially the longer series. I mean the longer it gets, the more likely people are going to complain about "not enough this" and "too much of that" and "stop the fillers," etc. Though the closest to without complaints for me may be Mahoraba or Yotsubato (though there isn't an anime for Yotsubato)

As was said here before, I doubt there is such thing as a perfect anime. Almost every one has some flaws, no matter how small they are, and if you by some chance manage to find one that is flawless to you, I bet there is another five people who will see so many flaws in it that they wont even bother counting.
However there are several animes where I personaly didnt percieved any flaw, or just decided to ignore it (in short animes towards which I am shameless fanboy... ): Neon Genesis Evangelion Cowboy Bebop Spice and Wolf Fate/Stay Night: (playing the visual novel only deepened my fanboyism....) ~ Ef - A Tale of Melodies - beautiful art and animation, amazing story, beautiful BGM
and (for now) ~ Maria†Holic - (I must have a thing for SHAFT) again, beautiful art and animation (well, it is from the same studio), love the comedy there and I'm completely in love with the soundtrack ♥

No complaints: Cowboy Bebop, FMA, HUnterxHunter, Great Teacher Onizuka and Death Note. (probably a few others)
Honorable mention goes to Nanoha...Because even though I noticed some flaws, I loved it so much. And Nanoha a's is damn well near perfect for a Mahou Shoujo anime.

If we're talking straightly only about anime, then there's one major problem: Fillers. Anything w/ fillers = Bad = Gets my complaint, probably moreso if I do love the original series.
So that rules out some favorite including OP, Slam Dunk, GTO, YYH etc. The frequency of complaints is also linked to one's expectation. Lucky Star, for instance, is by no means perfect nor a masterpiece, but due to my low expectation of its genre, the overall experience turned out to be quite flawless. LoGH, while I don't really have any complaints about it, I just think the epic series deserves even better. |

Azumanga Daioh -- I had a great ride going through all 26 episodes and without any to complain all I did was to laugh at the daily hijinks of the girls, but the other best thing about it is being pure and simply brilliant -- no artificial additives, ingredients, flavorings, and unadulterated.

I have never complained about practically any anime.
Although the Studio Ghibli feature; Only Yesterday was mesmirising. That production was just simply perfect in every way that I can think of. I still look back on the day that I first watched it on DVD and think "What a master-piece". |
