Sorry I don't read kanji, but if you mean アニメ, it means just anime not anything about number of episodes nor their lenght, or am I missing point?

Edit: Oh I see now "TV "アニメ, I guess that's it.

Well, if he thinks about two-timing any of them, it won't be nice boat, it would be nice cruise.

I wonder if Gunzou know he already has (selfproclaimed) submarine girlfriend. He might two-time by mistake...

Iona has never ever said that Gunso was her boyfriend, as far I remember. The jealous (wannabe) tsundere girlfriend schtick has always been Takao's, and she's a heavy cruiser.

It's always Takao vs Yamato (Maybe Kongou too if she somehow warms to humans. You know she's just ripe for that)

It was in Drama CD where Iona let Takao acces her memory bank about her first meeting with Gunzou and she tittled it "My girlfriend is submarine" Takao got Heroic BSOD afterward, that she weren't born as one herself. Drama CD also provide moe Kongou .

So Jun Fukuyama and Aoi Yuuki are not coming back for the anime?
That's sad.

The characters look kinda stiff and plastic-y. Well that was expected the moment they announced it's gonna be 3dcg anyway. The ships and battles look great though.

Spoiler for 1st ep?:

Actually, like has been pointed many times before, being 3DCG is not the actual problem here (look at the human characters in Disney Pixar movies). The thing that made the characters look stiff and plastic-y is the decision to make them using cel-shading technique which will always look clunky and “waxy” (to me at least).

It is indeed interesting if they animate the Drama CD material. Perhaps they need the padding.

Already caught up with the manga so now Im actually hyped for this. New PV is short but honestly I don't feel the character animation is that stiff, maybe because most series are not particularly fluid to begin with.

I haven't watched any Disney movies for years since Wall E will look up for that technique later.

Personally I was glad to see they tried adapting the drama CD (?) since the manga itself hasn't reached any turning point so far yet, we're still in the middle of the warhead transportation arc and would be bad if they try to pad it out with some original material. That aside, 1st time anime viewers may find it hard to comprehend the story if they decide omit the material in the drama CD (I myself couldn't make head nor tail of what's going on in the first few chapters).

Just to be clear, I mentioned Disney & Pixar movies (Up, Wall-E, Tangled, etc) to give you examples of how good the animation of 3DCG characters can be with no Cel-Shaded animation. As for an example of Cel-Shaded animation itself, look no further than this :
YouTube
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

I personally think Cel-shade is bad and never like it. But who knows? Maybe this Arpeggio anime will be able to make me change my mind.
