Guess that makes him a prodigy normally then, even without the blessing. And if he could somehow complete the blessing so that it was simply comprehension rather than incomplete language comprehension he'd be amazing. Also might he have som knowledge of kenjutsu? Both for Tomoe, and because it would be good for him to practice some mid and close range combat techniques. So Kenjutsu, karate, judo, aikido, or even iaido are things that he could practice to improve his close combat skills. His archery is useful, but when beating up top class monsters with ones bare hands, technique helps. Also he should track down gravity magic and find someone to teach him magic in depth so he can make spells. Gravity training!

Ah, as for his little world, it mentioned a lack of mana in the air, so how do the people inside replenish mana? There was something about there being a lot of vitality in the plants, is that the mana?

First of all, he isn't exactly a prodigy. His talent his is inhumane ability of concentration. He had to be a shut in for a month to be able to understand and read and write the language. Learning a comparatively simple language like English, Spanish or French in that amount of time is not too difficult. What's amazing is to devote 1 whole month into it without giving up

Indeed. I checked the translation just to make sure if I was reading the names of the MC's sisters right and I could barely read it. The grammar is a huge mess. Back to reading the raws I go.

Eh, not like I planned on reading the translation anyway since I can just read the raws. Like I said, I only checked it to make sure I was reading names right.

On another note, why do some want MC x Tsukuyomi? It's not like they'll ever meet again. Unless of course the MC really does reach god status and is somehow able to help him recover the power he used up.

Because of Yaoi pairings.

Also, about the translators early chapters having choppy grammar, he does get it fixed by chapter 3-4 so don't worry about it. What I did was read the manga first which covers upto fighting Shen/Tomoe(same person, name of her got changed) and then started the WN.

Skimmimg around raw a bit , both heroes show themselves as stupids...

Spoiler for arc 1 up to arc 4:

The hero of the empire, Male, has brainwashing/fascinating power and he uses it to get everything he wants.He gets his own harem(Valkyrie as normal people call it) to protect him and instead of training he uses on both him and his harem drugs to power up.He tries to steal Tomoe and her katana from MC .At their first meeting he used fascinating power, when that did not work his harem member,a dragon tamer, tried to use her powers.After that they attacked and she beat them up. AT a second time he calls MC to the palace and he wanted to give 4 of his harem members for Tomoe.MC refuses and the girl threaten him with weapons. He simply puts them to sleep and then beats up Tomoki barehanded.Before leaving he threatens him to never get close to Tomoe again and heals him to not leave any proof of what happened. This triggers his trauma from when he was bullied back in japan. And here is the twist. The main girl in his harem , the empire princess , in her mind thanks MC for making Tomoki easier to manipulate. It turns out fascination never worked on her and she is planning shit against the whole world , Goddess included.
By the way he has birthed at least one son/daughter
2)Female hero and MC s senpai at archery club.
She says she wants to improve condition of demi humans in human world but is not doing shit in that regards and went straight into battle against the demons .She wants to send back MC to japan cause she thinks of him as a mass murderer who can only resolve things with killing and is too dangerous for the world as now he could even destroy it and battle with the goddess. By the way the ritual for making someone go back requires killing of 1000 .........
3)While I am still waiting for him to kiss someone of his increasing harem at the very least he has not done anything else wrong. dont wanna write too much but basically he (temp teacher)teaches how to fight at school ,sells potions at low price , helps evacuating city from humans turned into demons and then has his lich and Mio kill them off, welcomes more demi human races in Asora ,saves the demon capital city from the strongest dragons with only a few dozens who died cause of his roar (gives curse) by tanking hundreds of his flames and then freeing the dragon from the the effect of a summoning item causing the lizard "only" a month of rest. Thus he becomes an hero to their eyes.
After this he teleports back to the human city (with the maou s daughter as maid) and gets the job of secretary of school .
This is not even all. Does he seem like a murderer to you guys?
