To be honest out of ALL girls (which irc include even one that is already dead) I find Nao and Kei being least shipable. When she said Kei is not her type it felt true. Not usual denial BS.

For real. This was an interesting chapter. I love the development of the witches' lore.

I hope we get to see whoever pulled a Yubaba on Akane in the next chapter.

Yeah, this is a really interesting chapter. I like it.

I think they understand Hamebo now because he really became Chinatsu's familiar. After all, witches are able to understand familiars.

Interesting to see several different witches obviously of different Earth cultures.

I feel bad for Inukai getting roped into this, but I am glad to see more of Nihei. She seemed like a very interesting character.

Guess we have another action-ish chapter in 2 months. Damn, this manga really makes you wait.

Oh dear me. The gatekeeper has a smart phone.

Drunk Nihei is the BEST.

Also, Akane the Drunkard being the only one of the three *kinda* thinking clearly at the end really works for me.

Yeah, that was a good chapter.

Akane didn't drunk as much as last time, so she's still okay. I think that's why she still has a clear head--though Potchap did say that those who fail the challenge would get dead drunk as a penalty, which I wonder why she didn't (she doesn't seem "dead drunk" to me). Inukai's completely flown off the handle, though.

Nihei when she's drunk is the best, though, yes.

But now Akane will be stuck as the Vomiting Witch forever, huh? Unless she gets another chance on the same day somehow, which I hope she does.

Chapter 70...

I love Akane having to be the calm and clear-headed one. Inukai and Nihei are cute locked up in their sleeping bags.

Plus, it's really cool that while Akane comes off as lazy but brilliant witch, she really is a very good person at heart.

Of COURSE they ended up getting drunk again.

Yeah, them getting drunk was expected. So much so that the Association predicted it and moved up the deadline to accommodate. But, of course, they did still scold Akane, which makes sense considering she nearly screwed up.

I like how she didn't get a big head while being revered as the savior of an entire village.

For all of Akane's immaturity about certain things I think this arc showed that she is not just a very powerful witch but also one who can be very wise and caring when the situation calls for it.

That robe is definitely really cool.

I agree with Chinatsu; that little whirlwind actually was pretty cute. Not quite following how it impacted Kobe, though.

I think it'll be explained next chapter. I hope so, at least. But I think it's going out and doing something to the storm in Kobe.

But yeah, I do love the robe. Seems really cool.

Makoto becoming a witch that designs and makes robes for other witches, something like Nihei I guess, sounds cool and it does suit her. But the jobs she takes on right now have nothing to do with that.
