A couple things I did today - nothing truly original, but it's better than nothing. For the first one, the flames looked okay without the gaussian blur - the theme being Celestial Being's destruction reflecting on Tieria's own change of mindset, yadda, yadda...and then shazam, added the overall hue and it's not up to what I hoped it'd be. Good grief. I'll probably revamp it at a later date, with mor emphasis on the flames and the entire desintegration thing.
94. 95. EDIT: I know #94 is over the 50kb limit but this is just for ah, showcase - a forum-friendly, 49kb version is available for grabs in the Gundam area.

Ha...went on a stroll in and out of Minitokyo - wasn't easy finding things that suited either my tastes, styles or preferred themes, but I eventually found small bits of Eden there. Anyway, I'm on a roll - this might be the last one for today, as I'm knackered and my bed is screaming for my company.
96. I tried adding a radial blur behind the render (the remnants of which can be espied around the arms, shoulders and hair), to create a feeling of motion - just like I added the same effect to the fairy dust brush for the explosion. Alas, again, the gaussian blur went against my wishes and didn't do it true justice, but I believe the end result is sufficient.

I usually use fonts like Agency FB, Arial, Arial Narrow, Times New Roman, Scriptina, Renaissance, Splendid ES, Dreamscar, Pixelation, Fire of Ysgard, etc.
As for the two-color thing? Easy - I simplify/rasterize the font layer, select the upper/lower part of the text and change its color/opacity/saturation (repeat for both parts). To create the 'reflection'/'chrome' effect, you just have to add a flare not too far away.

Uhh...in Photoshop Elements 2.0, it's CTRL+U, but I dunno whether they kept it for newer versions or other language packs.
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/9444/testdg7.jpg In CS2, you have to follow Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/139/test2yz8.jpg Or, again, use CTRL+U BTW, your request is available in the Anime Signature Request thread: - 425x153px - 405x153px - 385x153px Don't touch the 425x153px version - it's the original, full-length sig, but I didn't trim its size to below the 50kb limit. The 405 et 385px versions, however, are forum rules-friendly.

Well, here's more:
97a. 97b. A small comeback to the 'overall-white-background' style...although subverted with the 'breaking through the (fourth ) wall' idea. I applied almost transparent borders for 97a, so as to preserve the white bg, whereas 97b (which is the full-fledged, non forum-friendly, 101kb version) provides more contrast with the board background itself.

Ka-bump.
Added this to the forum banner contest... Yeah, familiar renders, eh? *whistles away without even an ounce of guilt* EDIT: Optimized for blending with the header background.

Hehe, I noticed your render in the banner entry thread and thought...."huh....I remember those as a couple of sigs..." Nice work on it by the way, I see you playing with your lovely brushes as usual >.<
I've always loved your style and was curious if you had time for a request! I know from your entry that you can't make deadline promises, and I'm totally ok with that. I have renders in mind and if you're interested, just let me know In the mean while, I'm digging your valkyrie sig, is it available for use?
