At-x' airing one week later would only make sense if there *is* an uncensored version, which contrasts with serious censorship in the regular version. Otherwise, airing it one week later would be pretty pointless - why wait one week for it without any good reason?

Because AT-X is an anime channel in general. It's had reruns (and in some cases, first airings), of shows like Campanella or Sora no Manimani or Ookami-san. Stuff where people hardly had reason to watch it a second time for "uncensored content". Not to mention some shows (Seikon no Qwaser) have had later airings on the channel and still not been uncensored.
The show's presence on AT-X means that the producers paid for it to be there, but that's not necessarily indicative of its content, as a look at AT-X's schedule will reveal. |

Besides, one look at their program reveals the airing time is 23:30: http://www.at-x.com/program_detail/index.html/2682/week

Diverting away from a topic I admittedly railroaded the thread into, we've got another simulcast series. It's this one.

I was on the fence a little bit, but there was no arguing against the last few minutes.
There are some good ideas in this show, I just hope that it can translate into consistently funny comedy. This week's was strong enough that I think it will. |

Well, it almost looks like there was an episode missing (considering they barely covered what happened to Ayumu), but they certainly packed the slapstick, although it lacks of some punch (I dunno, I was expecting something a bit more explosive from the premises and PV).
Nothing exceptionnaly hilarious, but it was amusing still (the memory spell failure screamed "reverse negima syndrome" all the way ). A bit early to say, but if they manage to avoid the usual "monster of the week", I will be ok with that. That and more delusion yuu. Quite happy they managed to keep the design as close as Kobuichi and Muririn's (now if only we could have a ExE or Natsuzora...).

After watching this, i find myself quite disappointed in the first episode. While the concept itself is a potential barrel of laughs, the way it was done left me more bored than anything. From music to animation to seiyuu performance, the overall package lacked the spark a comedy needs to be entertaining. I found the overall presentation dry and uninspiring, with no real effort or motivation to make the thing funny - like an animated rough sketch of a joke, without the actual sprinkling on top to illuminate said jokes and make them actually funny. It wasn't bad, it was just ... bland. Here's hoping they manage to inject more life in to the presentation in the upcoming episodes.
