Actual Plot twist, Sasuke left everyone to be Batman, only taking Karin they have a kid and being an Uzumaki like Kushina sadly died during childbirth, so Sasuke entrust her kid to forever alone Sakura.

Also, I can't believe how fast this is going. I thought for sure we'd get another few chapters before the epilogue came, but it seems this is finally the end.

It's not surprising. Naruto and Sakura had a lot of development together but it WASN'T romantic development. Their development pushed them together like a brother and sister. Naruto and Hinata were developed in a romantic sense on and off throughout the manga. You see Naruto becoming increasingly aware of Hinata more and more with each development.

As he should. Sakura lost all respect I had for her during the 5-Kage Summit arc (which, if I recall, was directly after the Pain arc).

*Sigh...* I was still hoping for an Unrequited Love Switcheroo situation - Sasuke developing feelings for Sakura, who has lost all interest in and can't stand him but now has feelings for Naruto, who no longer has feelings for her. A mirror of where they were at the series' start.

But then Ch. 693 ruined that possibility.

Well, she's wanted Saskue since before chapter 1, and she's been single minded about him throughout the series, even AFTER he tried to kill her. If she wants him that badly, then let her end up miserable and suffering by getting exactly what she wants.

Actually, this confirms for me that Kishi hates Sakura.

Agreed. Though honestly, I'm not sure whether this epilogue is worse for Sakura or Ino. Sakura comes off as a huge masochist who enjoys emotional abuse, while Ino comes off as completely shallow after going after the dreamy Sasuke look-a-like with no personality and emotions after wanting to jump his bone the first time she saw him.
