On a more serious note, that was a very nice reintroduction to main cast, hitting all the right notes. As expected there'll be some pretty cool action music beats to look forward to as well. Come on Nagai, I know you can deliver.

I was afraid of going to this thread for fear of it being filled with novel comparisons and the like, but I guess this subforum is better managed than that. Looks like I can go into these threads without such worries.

As for the episode itself, I'd say it was pretty standard fare for an introductory episode even if the execution was superb. But really, that dawning look of realization on the faces of our thugs before being blasted into oblivion by Mikoto's railgun never get old. It helps that it was done upside-down in midair, I suppose.

For now, I'm just hoping that our newly introduced Level 5 gets a hands-on role in the plot later on. Her power has way too much mischief potential to not be played around with.

In the end, just getting back my weekly dose of Satomi Arai voicing Kuroko is enough to get me all giddy.

Very nice 1st episode. Kuroko and Misaka make one hell of a team, enjoyed that upside down Railgun shot at the end.
I'm also a big fan of Saten-san and hopefully we get to see more of her kicking some ass

Shoukuhou Misaki makes her anime debut, I thought it'd be a couple of episode into the show.

Didn't expect Banri and Eri to make another appearance after S1, the staff is trying to connect S1 and S2 as smooth as possible? Wonder if they will have a bigger role in later episodes.

To be honest, I thought the helicopter was a bit too much, but they used the car in S1 already.

I'm also surprised when I see the queen on the first episode which really make the wait worth it.

Banri and Eri looks like going to be enrolled on the same middle school as Saten and Uiharu. They probably show up here and there again.

(If) Next season would probably be tank flying.

Decent first episode. The Queen has a pretty interesting ability that utilizes a tv remote, and the helicopter scene was pretty cool. :P

OP is absolutely ridiculous. Can't wait for the full version to come out in May.

She used her powers to send a message, I guess, but since is Mikoto and Kamachi loves to troll her hard the message got corrupt. Just simple as that. It was on the SS1.
