Ha, how appropriate that Funta7 also did the Yuru Yuri theme songs. I wonder who's going to sing them. Also, the OP and ED sequences better be the gayest thing the anime industry has ever seen given by those titles!

Well, at least it seems the kissing won't be left out of the anime, to the relief of yuri fans everywhere.

Character design still looking great, and chibis are always a good thing to me.

More cuts from the first episode.

The OP and ED will be released January 29 2014.

OP "Won(*3*)Chu KissMe!" will be sung by the seiyuu of the 6 main girls.
ED "Kiss(and)Love" will be sung by Haruka Tomatsu and Yuka Iguchi (CV of Haruka and Yuu)

Awesome. It's nice to see other shows influenced by one that I really like, especially because a large part of the art style is different from what you usually see in anime.

Actually it's not that it's influenced by Hidamari Sketch. Both Sakura Trick and Hidamari Sketch manga are published by the same magazine chain Manga Time Kirara. Other manga published by Manga Time Kirara chain include K-On, Yuyushiki, Kiniro Mosaic, A-Channel, Kill Me Baby and Kanamemo.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Is this same "artsy" style seen in most of the other titles published in this magazine as well as their animated adaptations? I sure don't remember seeing anything like this in K-On and Kanamemo, but it has been a while since I've watched either. To the best of my knowledge it was the animation studio that decided to use such a style when they animated Hidamari, not Ume-sensei.

Well, no matter what it's influenced by or what it ran in it's still cool to see good looking visuals. Hopefully the rest of the show is as good.

Oops, forgot about certain moments, including Haruka's uh...I'll be nice and call them "delusions," from Kanamemo. Though I still don't remember certain artistic choices, like inserting real life objects, from any of the mentioned shows. I was so sure that Hidamari had some unique artistic stylings. Was I wrong?

There are similarities because the director worked on Hidamari under Shinbou's supervision. The people who work for Shinbou tend to pick up his style. I love Hidamari so I'm happy this looks that way.

You might want to check out the director's resume, I think it'd interest you

What I meant was even though their anime art styles are different but the mood or atmosphere they give off feel similar. When I was first watching Yuyushiki and Kiniro Mosaic, the feeling their art styles were giving me made me felt like when I was watching Hidamari Sketch. I also had the same feeling when I was watching A-Channel and Acchi Kocchi. This pattern seems to occur in a lot of series published by Manga Time Kirara, which made me wonder if the fact their mangas are published by the same magazine chain had some influence.

Oh ok, I understand know and definitely agree. I was referring to the art style which is why I was confused. No problem.

Seen the PV, Hidamari everywhere! I foresee Yuu's flowers becoming the equivalent of Yuno's X's. Really like the OP too, has a feeling that differentiates it from the usual super chirpy stuff. And Haruka's voice feels spot on too.

Please don't mess with the yuri!

It's not a PV, it's a damn CM, even the official twitter calls it a CM: https://twitter.com/sakuratrick_pr/s...44990654795776

It would be really nice if Woun would stop peddling his videos until he stops tagging them so he gets clicks and backlinks. There should be a 60 second one at the TBS Comiket booth.

CM is 30 sec or shorter. But really: why should anyone care?

I don't mind Hidamari-like stile. And OP is extremely catchy(I can't get it out of my head for the three days already).

That is totally Index-san's voice. This is gonna be an interesting experience. Also, perfect choice for Yuu's first spoken line. I'm sure that's gonna attract a few people to the series.
