Sorry about that; it's a knee jerk reaction written in annoyance at how the very designs so far do not have the immediate impact that Muse left.
Alright; I will pass judgement only AFTER I see the Sunshine Girls in action then.

I think the movie is already licensed by NISA since they are screening it in the USA. The question is more, when will the BD come out? I'll say 6 months after the JP BD release, but who knows how long NISA will take to release it. Still no release date for the 2nd season let alone the reissue of the 1st season with a dub.

Does anyone know the name of the Grand Beautiful Hotel the girls stayed at and where it can be located in New York (Which Street Which Number?)
And I sure hope there isn't a Hotel that's really AS awful as the falling-apart-on-itself "Sunrise Motel"

Just back from the movie and will give a spoiler free impression.
Despite having a paper thin plot, I left the movie with a big grin on my face, and a bit of tears despite expecting a lot of crying in the movie. The movie reminded me of the old Disney movies during their Renaissance or a Don Bluth film during his prime. It never over-promised anything, it jumps into a random song and dance, and does it with such earnestness that you can't really hate the movie for what it was trying to do. And that is to say goodbye to µ's (at least in the anime world) and to leave a lasting legacy for any upcoming School Idols. So for those who enjoyed the adventures of µ's take heart that this movie was a big encore and a great way to thank the fans. One thing you have to take note about the International version is that they replaced "As Time Goes By" with a humming tune. It was kinda obvious since I had the OST before watching the movie and when the scene pop-up, you see the mouth movements weren't in sync with the humming. This might be a problem when NISA and Madman release the movie on disc in a couple of years. However in saying that, the song didn't take anything away from the scene so I'll let it slide as I was just too happy to watch it on the big screen. Lastly what was amusing was during in the movie theater, there were a lot of girls squeeling during some of the blatant shipping moments. That was rather cute. Anyway, you can tell everyone certainly had a fun time watching the movie. Can't wait for my BD copy to arrive so that I can watch it all over again.

I'm just wonderign what's happening . LL is showing in Hoyts right now and the psycho IM@STER race guys I know are claiming they'll be there to troll all the moviegoers. So if you see a group of fat bogans with ponytails showing off being IM@S fans and screaming obscenities, tell me who they are.
I know them. And I have ways. Everyone has a right to like or hate Love Live, that's fine. But not liking Love Live is no grounds for being drunken bigots with nothing better to do than show how big of an asshole they are in public and trying to shame people who actually like the franchise in public. God, it's almost as bad as the stupider Star Trek VS Star Wars fans.

Thank god for that. I knew it, they're all bluster and no guts. Which is good, but it also underlines one of the reasons why I refuse to go to conventions anymore. There isn't any form of respect whatsoever in the hobby.
