I hope it is. I don't think the first homemedia release is out though. At least I remember three years ago we got more comments on the Mob thread. For some reason this thread has quite less comments than Mob 1.

I guess it could be the freshness of concept. Back than Mob and OPM were new and fresh ideas. Also, they did not "require" old season to be watched to be understood.
This time they aren't new, since we have seen S1 and also this season has kiiinda been trending to a more basic shounen plot of power leveled enemies and like. Also IMO there has been less of Mob annihilating everything since things are on a higher level, and I'm someone who likes curb stomp battles from the start.

Incredible action as I had expected for the season finale. This sequel has some of the most polished battle scenes I've seen and the finale didn't disappoint me. They made it really feel like a high stake fight too. Mob has really grown to me as a character throughout this season, even more so than the previous season.
9/10. Same rating as the first season. I look forward to that new OVA that got announced today.

It was a really good finale with the fights and resolutions but the message felt a bit weird when even Mob was confused throughout the battle. Everybody needs people rather than solicitude from what I get. Still, it was a great season. Hope season 3 doesn't take other three years to be made.

The finale was awesome. Mob's 100% percent modes came off as incredibly terrifying. In the end, he beat Toichiro both physically and ideologically. I like ow Serizawa is now part of Reigen's agency and is learning from Mob.
Overall it was another fantastic season and I can't wait for a third and final one.

That fight sure was on a different scale compared to everything we've seen until now, which makes sense given that it involved the world's two strongest espers. The ending was great, with Mob inadvertently channeling all of Suzuki's energy to make a broccoli seed grow to a ridiculous size.
I wasn't expecting Serizawa to come working for Reigen. The dynamic between them and Mob is something to look forward in the potential next season. It works out great for all parties. Reigen gets a full time employee who can deal with real spiritual stuff, Serizawa gets a job, and Mob gets more free time. I hope Serizawa will get paid better than Mob though ![]()
