I recently watched baka and test with a buddy and he told me about another anime alot like it but cant remember the name. If anyone could name off some animes about highscool/academy students that use virtual avatars that would be fantastic. you help with names and ill do the watching

Hi, I figured I might as well try here since I miraculously came across this thread. I read a dark themed manga 2 or 3 years ago and forgot about it/lost the bookmark

. The friend who recommended it conveniently forgot it's name too...anyways from the little bits I remembered it's about a world where humans awaken powers due to random triggers and get sent to some infamous school. The main character(?) wants to enroll in that school despite apparently being a normal human.

The two other things I can recall is that a girl who was getting assaulted by a group of men awoken her power that allows her to cause mens' testicles to explode and...yeah that was nightmare fuel for me

also some student who went to buy a wooden sword in a shop with his friends on a field trip suddenly awoken his powers and slaughtered all the classmates around him. I hope I'm not combining two different mangas but I think those are all from the same manga. If that rings a bell for anyone please tell me the name of the manga

Both the boy and the girl are kids.. And you see the girl in a festival or parade at the end of the movie.. I think the boy wore glasses but not sure.. He seemed like a nerdy kid..
I forget what it's called and it's bugging the crap out of me..

No. I think it was a short film.. imagine if spirited away and fractale merged into a short film... I think the girl being chased might have been a princess and she had to take place in a festival/ceremony/parade or something.. At the end of the movie I think the girl saw the boy in the crowd and smiled at him or something.. It must not be very popular... I literally spent 3 hours looking at the list or movies on anime-planet, baka-bt, and wikipedia on anime films...
