Crap! Crap! Crap! How could something that seemed so simple turned out to be like this. Currently it seems Tais and I are really not going to survive this time. It started off with Tais getting into a fist fight with one of the men of 108th and getting called up to see Major Nakajima. Again.

Genya: Quiet! So tell me, what is your excuse this time? And you better not say you got your butt pinched again. I don't want to remember that horrible time when you managed to charm most of the men (and some of the women) just by following Ginga around base and then shattering their fantasies with one brutal strike.

(Both men shudder at the thought of that DAY)

Tais: Sir, they are betting on the colour of Ginga-san's panties again.

At this, Ginga turned rather red. From embarrassment or anger I can't tell, maybe both. The father-daughter pair discussed a variety of options on how to punish Tais this time but nothing seem to be a good solution. Then Ginga suggested something so crazy that I really thought it was a joke. Unfortunately, the major thought it was a good idea. Seems like they are sending Tais on a suicide mission... which is to infiltrate RF6 and drop a letter on the commanding officer's desk without being seen. I of course protested this decision on the grounds that Director Tsuzuki will not allow this and that attacking another base is not allowed unless sanctioned by the brass. Major Nakajima simply played 2 video clips.

Tsuzuki: ... while he's there, you have my full permission to do whatever you like with Tais. Oh don't worry about fatalities, Tais is a tough one, he's as resilient as the Earthian cockroach so very little chance of him dying anytime soon. In case he does kick the bucket, I got it covered.....

That was.... enlightening, although that moron Tais just assumed its a compliment. The second clip is basically a mission from the brass asking certain battalions to send 1-2 members to try to infiltrate RF6 to test their defenses. Although if the rumors were true, no one has taken on this mission. Looks like we're going to be the first.

On the day of the mission, we were driven to the outskirts of RF6 by Ginga who also briefed us on the mission.

When you get there, hide the life raft and proceed by moving around the shadows to the administrative building. Once there, get into the CO's office who should be having dinner and drop the letter on her desk. From there, you can either escape or proceed to the secondary objective which is...
Yui: Wait! What secondary objective? There wasn't any mention of a secondary objective.
Ginga: Its something I added in. I hope Tais would agree to do it.
Tais: Any...
Yui: Tais, shut up and let me do the talking. So, Nakajima-san, what is the secondary objective?
Ginga: Here, read this.

(starts reading a letter from Subaru)

Yui: If I scanned this correctly, you want us to swing by the residential area on the way out and scaring your sister by appearing as the ghost she mentioned.
Ginga Yup.
Yui: Hate to break this to you, but Tais cannot keep his mouth shut and you don't have a way to make him look and sound like a girl now.

Me and my big mouth. It turns out that she had in fact, prepared a costume for Tais as well as a way to keep him quiet. When she was done, Tais looked like a mature version of the infamous Maser Sergent Rein but with some differences. Red eyes, long silver hair, large assets, black clothing with red trim and the hooded cloak and red facial markings. As for his talking problem, Ginga provided a choker which silenced Tais and made me his voice although she also made me change my voice patterns. It also gave us extremely short ranged linked telepathy so we can communicate with each other.

I wasn't too happy at this point but Tais was, since I managed to get Ginga to agree to go on a romantic date with Tais on their next day off. Once it got dark, we set off. After quite a few extremely narrow escapes dodging and hiding from the various personnel and sentries around the base. I seriously thought that we're dead when that red haired child and the pinked haired beauty stared in our direction. Luckily, they got distracted by Instructor Takamichi and we quickly moved on. Surprising, we managed to complete the first half of the primary objective. I have to thank the God Empress for favoring us tonight.

Secondary objective was also achieved successfully and easily with Tais stepping out of the shadows when the rookies came by after their shower. A pity they screamed so loudly since this was what stopped us from completing the mission. As we got round a corner towards the exit, we literally ran into the Aces.

Their reactions were not what we expected especially after that saw Tais's new look. Instructor Takamichi and Enforcer T. Harlaown had a look of total shock but Lieutenant Colonel Yagami had a look of disbelieve, shock and happiness?

Not knowing what to do, I instructed Tais to run for the exit. Here is where it starts getting complicated. LTC Yagami ordered Tais to stop and come towards her. Like the soldier he is, Tais obediently did as she said and stood before her. LTC Yagami hesitantly touched Tais as if not daring to believe the person before her is real. She looked into Tais's face and the idiot gave her a soft smile. Then the floodgates sprang opened and LTC Yagami, started hugging and sobbing into Tais's "chest".

Hayate: Reinforce, you're back! You really are back! I thought you were gone forever! You came back to me! Reinforce, I'm so happy that you're back!

Tais: Reinforce? Who is that?
Yui: No idea.

Currently, its close to dawn and it looks like they are about to awaken soon. I wish I can take a picture of them since LTC Yagami lying on Tais with her head and hands on his's "chest" and master sergent Rein sleeping on the pillow above Tais's head presents a cute picture. I seriously don't know what is going to happen later when the truth is known. I can only pray that we will survive this.

As far as I can tell, in the actual canon Nanohaverse, the mage ranking of someone who hasn't actually taken a TSAB-proctored mage ranking exam is based on estimates, especially from some vague form of readings of magical ability ("over 9000" and all that). This measures magical ability and nothing more.

I wonder if there should be another data field for villains: namely, "Threat Rating". A villain with a high Threat Rating may have a low magical rank but is still highly dangerous due to some other factor, be it mechanical or scientific or manipulative genius, or physical strength.

This way, the villain's actual magical ability and their threat level are separate, as I think they should be. Granted, since the mage ranking for non-tested mages is based off estimates anyway, the character in question can use their ingenuity or some other method to seem to have greater magical power than they really do.

That's basically what I did for Threshold and Pain. The estimated mage ranking for them are B and AAA+, but the threat ranking for both of them are S+.

This was meant to be only 1/3rd of Part 7...but I had so much butterflies in my stomach writing this, it became an entire part of it's own lol.

Anyway, Part 7 is HERE. Aka the part with the most pre-romance cheese talk you find in lame Hollywood movies. The next part will be the actual cheese, and maybe a wee bit of N-17 depending. I've never really tried doing those before.

Another day, another battle.

How long had it been… It has already been 3 months since I first met Tiara.

3 months…Not too long, but not too short either. It was a unique beginning for a friendship. We meet when we can. It’s always the same… a promise, and another meeting. Naturally, we were never alone…Null was always with me, so is Shamal…and occasionally Zafira. Sometimes both, but them coming together often indicated Tiara had to leave quickly.

It was strange…I suppose. We’ve talked about many things…flowers, my past, hers (( without her royal mention )), from random things to deep things…but never of our present. I didn’t know her beyond Tiara, just as she knows me only as Saga.

It’s as if we could talk about everything, other than what we are.

Before I realized it…I…came to…like her.

Today…another battle was fought and won. Under the latest orders of the Emperor, I was tasked to lead a majority of the forces to break through the border regions and conquer the capital once and for all.

In other words…a do or die battle. The winner will win the war, and end it…. The emperor must be getting desperate.

I sat down…the night following a battle is often cold, as I took a cup of coffee and sat by Astra.

As someone who was written more than his fair amount of similar cheese in the past (See Glock's Profile), I must say I like how this one played out without going overtly melo. And Saga's thoughts on the matter with Tiara I can somehow relate to.

And Astra certainly made it a whole lot better, but...

That depends on you really. Some of use here like our OC stories from canon past, some in the present, and others in the future. I myself set my canon stories in StrikerS present, but with most of the stuff set in flashbacks. It depends on what you're going for really, whether you'd like to shed some more light on your OC, or simply interact with the other OC's.

To add to Lowe, it really depends. If you want an easy to write story and just want to interact a bit with the CC's or OC's, then the best place to insert them is StrikerS, as we have a 10 year gap which we can fill with just about anything and you don't have tto worry about canon too much.

If you are willing to go through some troule, you can do what I do and set your character at any point in time. However, what I do is a bit harder and time-consuming, not to mention you will walk on the AU path. Not that that really matters, since almost everyone does that here, but setting your character in the written stories is a lot harder, since you can't do anything to change the actual storyline.

In the end, I'd say that the most important thing overall, is balance. Be it the actual intergration of stories and characters, it's moot if they don't give a feeling like they'll fit and still make sense even if we never see them since they're not canon. Characters from distance past needs to have a semblance of what the Nanoha-verse showed us like the Belkas and all, present needs to maintain a balance without throwing the side of the show on the loop among other things. Future is hard to do without prediciting abilities, unless you want it to be set elsewhere far away that spoils the meaning of a in-universe story.

Btw, where's your 5th knight? If you're short on time, just gimme the gender, weapon-type and how he/she fights. If all goes well, she'll be within my story's Part IX, which is just 2 parts away. :3

I'm not qualified to give advice, but I inserted mine during StrikerS and kept them more or less off screen from StrikerS canon aka they happen between the actual episodes like the sound stages. It is much easier than starting an OC in the past or future as I can interact with both Canon characters as well as the various OC in this thread. Don't know if that helps you any but this is just my 2 cents.

Like Nightengale has said, balance is important. Although I myself have no idea did I balance my characters (ok, I'll make Tais take the next few mage tests to up his ranking) and story integration well.

It could get me directly inside but we didn’t want to risk being detected. I checked my clothes and moved straight to the main entrance. “How the hell I could agree to do this?” – The thought kept crossing my mind, - “If someone finds out about it I’ll make Mirian pay with her life.”

- We could get you in there using a disguise, sir. We’ll dress you up as a maid, so you’ll be able to enter their residence and move around unnoticed. With your abilities no magical means will let them uncover you. So you’ll get into Lt.-Col. Yagami’s room and check that person. If she’s the real deal you’ll inject her with paralyzing serum and we’ll get you out immediately. Then …

- Wait-wait-wait. Did you say “maid”? – I hoped I misheard her, - Didn’t you mean “servant”?

- No, sir, - she giggled, - they only have maids in RF6.

- Do you seriously think I would agree with such plan?

- Is it bad? – She asked fondly.

With these unpleasant memories I reached the main entrance. A guard gave me a disturbing look but let me in without questions. Inside the building there were actually several maids already busy with their work so early in the morning. “What kind of people work in RF6?” – I stopped for a second, - “There’s nothing mentioned about such habits in the Department’s archives.” So far nobody paid much attention to me and I got to the floor I needed with little effort.

Lt.-Col. Yagami’s room was located in the end of a long corridor and I directed my steps toward it. Suddenly I got my attention attracted by weird sounds coming out from one of the rooms. I listened carefully and was able to determine which door lead to that room. I was going to investigate it closely when I heard a harsh voice behind me.

- Are you a new one here?

- Ah … yes, I am … Signum-sama, - I said turning around and trying to remain calm, - I was transferred here yesterday.

- I see. Don’t make too much noise here, Meister Hayate had a tough day and needs to rest well.

She turned away from me and entered the bathroom. I didn’t want to accidentally meet anyone else of the residents and decided to leave the suspicious sounds alone. I reached Hayate’s room and entered it cautiously. Three persons were sleeping peacefully on the bed, one of whom was the one that made me come here. She certainly looked like the Book of Darkness’ humanoid form was described.

- Not “she”, - the voice of Aether Origin almost made me jump.

- Hush! You’ll wake them. And what do you mean by that?

- The person you’re looking at is male. And a D+ rank mage to be precise.

I was already able to feel that myself – the person hadn’t any vast magic capabilities. He was surely not the one we sought for. But what was the meaning of this? How did he end up here dressed like that? Damn, and he made me act not much better! I moved closer to take a look at his face. At that moment he suddenly opened his eyes.

- M-m-meido-sama? – He made an awkward move and pushed Hayate, waking her up.

- Wh-what’s going on here? – She was still sleepy, but I didn’t like how the situation was developing.

The chibi girl that was sleeping on the pillow was waking up too, so I had to act quickly. I pulled one of my stilettos out and pricked the boy with it, injecting him with paralyzing serum. The move made an expression of shock appear on Yagami’s face and I used the moment to stick the magic dampener to her forehead.

- Meister Hayate! – cried the chibi girl and made an attempt to fly towards her.

She couldn’t do it though, as I used the fact of her being a purely magical creation and bound her tightly to the pillow with aether threads. Not giving Hayate the time to understand what didn’t allow her to use any magic I grabbed the boy and jumped out of the window.

- Sarah, emergency teleportation, now! – I spoke the telepathic order loudly in a hurry.

As we were disappearing through a blue magic circuit that materialized under my feet I gave the magic dampener the order to disintegrate, feeling a little sad being unable to see the effects of its conversion on Lt.-Col. Yagami.

- I understand now, thanks, - I said when the boy’s Device AI finished her story.

- Would you let him go? – Yui, that was its name, sounded worried.

- We don’t need problems, so we’ll return him. Sarah, erase the Device’s memories of the event from the moment of my appearance and teleport the boy back to the same room. Let him deal with RF6 himself, but keep an eye on them.

- Understood, - replied Sarah.

- The case’s closed. For the future consider gathering more evidence before proposing any rash actions.

- Yes, sir.

Tais: Sir, they are betting on the colour of Ginga-san's panties again.
Genya: Tais, you cannot go around beating people up just because they are talking about Ginga's panties. You should note down their names and report it to me. As her father, I'm suppose to give them the beating.
Tais: Oh, I'm sorry sir.

(Ginga knocks and enters the office. Seeing Tais, she sighs)

Ginga: Tais, this is what? the 7th time in 3 days you have been called in for disciplinary action?
Tais: Ginga-san, its not my fault this time. Wow, Ginga-san is so pretty.

At this, Ginga turned rather red. From embarrassment or anger I can't tell, maybe both. The father-daughter pair discussed a variety of options on how to punish Tais this time but nothing seem to be a good solution. Then Ginga suggested something so crazy that I really thought it was a joke. Unfortunately, the major thought it was a good idea. Seems like they are sending Tais on a suicide mission... which is to infiltrate RF6 and drop a letter on the commanding officer's desk without being seen. I of course protested this decision on the grounds that Director Tsuzuki will not allow this and that attacking another base is not allowed unless sanctioned by the brass. Major Nakajima simply played 2 video clips.

Tsuzuki: ... while he's there, you have my full permission to do whatever you like with Tais. Oh don't worry about fatalities, Tais is a tough one, he's as resilient as the Earthian cockroach so very little chance of him dying anytime soon. In case he does kick the bucket, I got it covered.....

That was.... enlightening, although that moron Tais just assumed its a compliment. The second clip is basically a mission from the brass asking certain battalions to send 1-2 members to try to infiltrate RF6 to test their defenses. Although if the rumors were true, no one has taken on this mission. Looks like we're going to be the first.

On the day of the mission, we were driven to the outskirts of RF6 by Ginga who also briefed us on the mission.

Ginga: Tais, your primary objective is as follows. When it gets dark, you are to row across the lake to the island where RF6 is. When you get there, hide the life raft and proceed by moving around the shadows to the administrative building. Once there, get into the CO's office who should be having dinner and drop the letter on her desk. From there, you can either escape or proceed to the secondary objective which is...
Yui: Wait! What secondary objective? There wasn't any mention of a secondary objective.
Ginga: Its something I added in. I hope Tais would agree to do it.
Tais: Any...
Yui: Tais, shut up and let me do the talking. So, Nakajima-san, what is the secondary objective?
Ginga: Here, read this.

(starts reading a letter from Subaru)

Yui: If I scanned this correctly, you want us to swing by the residential area on the way out and scaring your sister by appearing as the ghost she mentioned.
Ginga Yup.
Yui: Hate to break this to you, but Tais cannot keep his mouth shut and you don't have a way to make him look and sound like a girl now.

Me and my big mouth. It turns out that she had in fact, prepared a costume for Tais as well as a way to keep him quiet. When she was done, Tais looked like a mature version of the infamous Maser Sergent Rein but with some differences. Red eyes, long silver hair, large assets, black clothing with red trim and the hooded cloak and red facial markings. As for his talking problem, Ginga provided a choker which silenced Tais and made me his voice although she also made me change my voice patterns. It also gave us extremely short ranged linked telepathy so we can communicate with each other.

I wasn't too happy at this point but Tais was, since I managed to get Ginga to agree to go on a romantic date with Tais on their next day off. Once it got dark, we set off. After quite a few extremely narrow escapes dodging and hiding from the various personnel and sentries around the base. I seriously thought that we're dead when that red haired child and the pinked haired beauty stared in our direction. Luckily, they got distracted by Instructor Takamichi and we quickly moved on. Surprising, we managed to complete the first half of the primary objective. I have to thank the God Empress for favoring us tonight.

Secondary objective was also achieved successfully and easily with Tais stepping out of the shadows when the rookies came by after their shower. A pity they screamed so loudly since this was what stopped us from completing the mission. As we got round a corner towards the exit, we literally ran into the Aces.

Their reactions were not what we expected especially after that saw Tais's new look. Instructor Takamichi and Enforcer T. Harlaown had a look of total shock but Lieutenant Colonel Yagami had a look of disbelieve, shock and happiness?

Not knowing what to do, I instructed Tais to run for the exit. Here is where it starts getting complicated. LTC Yagami ordered Tais to stop and come towards her. Like the soldier he is, Tais obediently did as she said and stood before her. LTC Yagami hesitantly touched Tais as if not daring to believe the person before her is real. She looked into Tais's face and the idiot gave her a soft smile. Then the floodgates sprang opened and LTC Yagami, started hugging and sobbing into Tais's "chest".

Yui: I really tried but at can boast that you got to sleep with LTC Yagami.
Tais: Can you be serious, she's going to destroy me when she finally learns the truth.
Yui: There is nothing I can do to stop her. You might as well enjoy it if you're going to die. Wait, looks like you're lucky. It seems like the Wolkenritter are suspicious of you and are trying to stop LTC Yagami.

Yui: No, seems like they got convinced by her instead that you are really this person called Reinforce.

Currently, its close to dawn and it looks like they are about to awaken soon. I wish I can take a picture of them since LTC Yagami lying on Tais with her head and hands on his's "chest" and master sergent Rein sleeping on the pillow above Tais's head presents a cute picture. I seriously don't know what is going to happen later when the truth is known. I can only pray that we will survive this.

There were times that only he needed to go very fast, and that's when Firehawk came in handy.

Like a thunderbolt, the little craft blazed through the night sky leaving a tail of mana residue in its wake. There were no clouds, and the fighter was bathed in the blue glow of Mid Childa's triple moons. Specks of light seemed to pass lazily under it while Kha knew that he had been through the sound barrier twice over. And Keroko was in the backseat, the veteran airborne Ace enjoying every moment of it. All was quiet save the light hum of Firehawk's thrusters; If both boy and girl were facing each other, those who were asking for an ICB in the face might even call it 'romantic'.

Kha glanced at his instruments once more. It's been 10 minutes since lift off, and at his current speed the ETA was in another 10. der Kleriker knew he could go even faster, even take a shortcut through the stratosphere, but Yzak Base and MC Central District were not so far as to require der Kleriker to punch through that. Besides, he was technically breaking a few rules taking a fully-operational stratofighter into a big population center and being a stickler for rules, having authorization from Carim to take his machines anywhere while on operation didn't get rid of that feeling.

Downtown's lights loomed into view, and he eased the craft to lower altitude, going under the sensors of the city's self-defence networks. No point waking some poor bored soul at his console with a false alarm.

"Hey Kha, I just got an idea," Keroko spoke over the intercomm. "Could you go lower please?"

"I'll be skimming the city blocks if we go lower!"

"Aw... I wanna fly in between the skyscrapers! Hehe..."

True, so did that little boy in him. "Keroko-san, I don't wanna scare people!"

"There's no one working in the office blocks at this unholy hour! Besides, if its the Central Vault, shouldn't those sentries be awake? We'll be doing the public a service to wake them lazy bums up!" Kha could practically hear her grin. "Besides, Carim said it was okay to fly to the Riot 6 base right? We've been given permission, so there's no trouble for you."

Kha rolled his eyes. "Roger that. Sit tight."

With that, der Kleriker pushed the stick down and to the left. Firehawk responded like a charm pitching forward while banking left as it fell into the valley of offices like a suicidal comet. His body took over, dancing over the controls with his feet in sync as the fighter screamed its presence to no one in particular, staying perfectly vertical and not drifting a foot closer to the dim fibreglass facades.

Suddenly, the blocks weren't there; the duo were now skimming the tree tops of Central Park, a ring of green that surrounded the TSAB Central Vault. Kha righted the craft and punched the afterburners. Satisfying Gs pressing both pilot and passenger into their seats, Firehawk climbed gradually. Then, it was Kha's turn to pull a fast one; Firehawk suddenly rolled left and dashed straight at the Vault's eastern pylon.

"KHA!! WHAT ARE YOU--!"

He pulled the stick back; his left hand toggled the jumpjets; his leg hit airbrakes, then let go again as he took his foot off the burners. Firehawk thus nosed horizontally out of the concrete, tail drifting inches from the inner curvature of the vault, and Keroko squealing all the way. Kha floored the thrusters again; the engines screamed; they made it out. In total guffaws, der Kleriker righted the craft to the nav point set on Firehawk's HUD, grinning like a madman.

"Kha! What's so funny?!"

He wasn't going to forget Keroko's squeal for a very long time.

This was meant to be only 1/3rd of Part 7...but I had so much butterflies in my stomach writing this, it became an entire part of it's own lol.

~Part VII : Ember before Moonlight~

Another day, another battle.

How long had it been… It has already been 3 months since I first met Tiara.

3 months…Not too long, but not too short either. It was a unique beginning for a friendship. We meet when we can. It’s always the same… a promise, and another meeting. Naturally, we were never alone…Null was always with me, so is Shamal…and occasionally Zafira. Sometimes both, but them coming together often indicated Tiara had to leave quickly.

It was strange…I suppose. We’ve talked about many things…flowers, my past, hers (( without her royal mention )), from random things to deep things…but never of our present. I didn’t know her beyond Tiara, just as she knows me only as Saga.

It’s as if we could talk about everything, other than what we are.

Before I realized it…I…came to…like her.

Today…another battle was fought and won. Under the latest orders of the Emperor, I was tasked to lead a majority of the forces to break through the border regions and conquer the capital once and for all.

In other words…a do or die battle. The winner will win the war, and end it…. The emperor must be getting desperate.

I sat down…the night following a battle is often cold, as I took a cup of coffee and sat by Astra.

“Hoho…So even the General has someone dear to him…”

Well, to be honest, from the way you don’t go out seeking girls and choosing to hang out with us boring guys and do lame work, one would almost think you’re gay or something. But it looks like this isn’t the case…as Saga told me a story of him meeting a girl.

“So, how far have you gone?”
I emphasized FAR…a lot.

“Idiot, it’s not like that…. We’re just friends. We’ve recently just met. It’s not like it’s anything really different from how friends start out…Conversations, similarity…”

True… to be honest, I never really though about why I suddenly came to realize I liked her…

Maybe it was love on first sight all along… NAH. Can’t be. That’s only in love stories.

“I used to think of her like a close friend, like you, Isdera, Wira… someone I can truly trust as myself. It’s just…recently, somehow, I’ve come to see of her as a woman.”

“So, have you jammed it in?”

I’m starting to think telling this to Astra is the biggest mistake of my life.

Calm down…Don’t get irritated over Astra’s jokes… Calm…down…

Breath in…Breath out…

“Hmm… I find hard to explain. She has something about her that make one want to know more about her, but at the same time… fear engulfs you, like knowing her will make you regret it. I’m always with you assholes, fighting this useless war day and night, but I keep getting reminded of her.”

“Screw the unimportant details, have you gone out there and do it?”

Okay…I’m pissed off. Really pissed off.

Seeing Astra fly backwards several metres away is a refreshing sight indeed. I feel so much better…

God, that hurt. Sheesh, can’t he take a joke? I can’t see, but I can tell that he’s smirking…wait…the mood suddenly turned…lower… as Saga continued.

“I never told her how I felt… I thought of telling her a few times… but I keep feeling very awkward about it. When I think about her…my heart beats faster. Under the moonlight, her shining silver hair seems like a thing of beauty…something that is so far away.”

The feeling of the flames around us heated… Saga…

“But I…As I continue fighting like this, as the General of Vauxhall…risking life, cheating death, watching my comrades die, protecting them… fighting for the one hope of ending this war, for glory, for survival… The more I meet her, the more I feel like I’m just getting further and further away from her. The truth is…I’m not sure if what I want to do is the right thing to do. I’m confused.”

That’s your problem, Saga…Man, you think too much. I smiled… It’s rare to see Saga like this. To everyone else, he was the great General; unmovable like a mountain, as swift as the wind, as fiery as the flames… he was perfect.

But we know better… behind that mask, he was just another victim of this war…Even so, it’s rare…to see him like this, truly honest and vulnerable, much like what all of Zerstroritter once went through.

I kept my jokes, as I replied seriously.

“What the hell, Saga? Why in Belka’s moon are you fretting about details? You’re not some hormone-deprived teenager. Just go and fuck her already.”

I was honest. That’s what I really thought.

“Damn you! Is that all that's cramped inside your brain, Astra!? Maybe your eye injury has-“

He stopped… Hmm, getting awkward again, every time he brings up our past, he’s like this.

“You love her, right?

“Then what’s the problem?

No one faces love in their life…with everything in place.

If you truly love her, then be honest to yourself and do everything you can for her happiness.

Even if she does not love you back…even if the love’s unrequited…even if it’s painful…regretful…

That’s what love is.”

There's always the quantum-mechanical solution of split alternate worlds, or we could go for the way democracies do: with a vote

EDIT: made an adjustment, but Hayate/RII will have to act differently in Kha's ... the rest didn't have time to know of the events.
