Honestly, this series is getting better and better.
It started with Yuuko being confused with Cofee house lingo that she swore to never order there again, but even in the safety of a convinience store the store clerk made her cry. (poor Yuuko) Mio looks sweet and cute but never ever make here angry. Her wrath spared no one, whether it's a cop, her best friend, an old man or even a hungry goat. she sure dispatched them easily with the exactitude of well trained assasin. At least the goat spared Mio the humiliation from her crush by eating the evidence. I wonder whether Mio be locking horns with the Kendo girl at the OP, maybe they know each other? The Mohawk guy's father is tha Daifuku Nazi. Yuuko visits the always troubled Nano at her house and meets the professor, which the two hit it off right away, too well I might add.(no suprise there) The episode ends with Yuuko did a surprisingly nice and sweet thing by cheering-up and encourage Nano.(along with Mai doing her subtle thing) With that Nano finally gains a true friend. |

This series keeps managing to blow me away. It was great during the first half in my book but then the 2nd half has just propelled Nichijou into the stratosphere. Easily one of the best anime of this year for me.
Yuuko was surprisingly mature with how she handled Nano as she left her house. Even though Hakase will keep putting in nonsensical features for her, she might be more accepting of being a robot after that.

Without fanservice, big bewbs, extreme violence, etc. I really like the fact that KyoAni is capable to skip that.
Don't get me wrong, i like those things, but i think that it's good a little change. I would say that even the Moe is putting aside a little in favor of comical situations.

Episode 16 was great!
I also lol'd with Mio taking out everyone around her as they tried to read her manga drafts, but taking out the goat was unexpectedly my fave part of it. Continuing to enjoy this series.

I would be interested in knowing if this show's popularity in Japan has increased since the early days. I'm guessing yes since right after the new OP came is seemed like there was a flood on 2ch (according to 4chan anyway) of images and gifs. Lots and lots of them.
