That's...interesting...Though remember that the Wolkenritter also have bodies, yet they had them from way back. Their bodies were created from the Book of Darkness, so Hayate's Book can very well do the same thing, since its practically the same Book, just reformatted.

I don’t see how it dose unless you limited “character development” to the form of near death experiences, savage beatings, and romances which is silly (and the later is still entirely possible). It can work fine in fact the contrast between the events in battle and her struggles at home raising a daughter could be very interesting and fertile ground.

When she finally snaps and starts killing you all I want to be in a position to be able to say truthfully. “I wasn’t involved in this; also Chaos and Lowe are hiding in the closet.”

I did say that the character development will shift in another direction... not that there wouldnt be any.

Still, good points, and its not that I dont agree with them...just that they are quite unusual and may detract to the experience one way or the other. (The fact that I will need to endure seeing Vivio in Season 4 is already a negative for me. )

Yup. I had it NERFED OUT(even more even if compared to Kluize).
Aurion will NEVER (And very much CAN'T) use it again. Besides, it's success rate of doing is pretty much zero. And he has no resources and energy to even fire off a spell that big in the first place. The circumstances during the Perfect Void Incident allowed a lucky shot. But no more than that. Blaster (w/c pretty much amounts to a Triple Breaker EX+ and leaves him incapacitated for a bit) pretty much will do for me as a limit to how powerful his spells can get.
I just had it there for storytelling purposes and for kicks.
Just look, I get to have HAXX that far surpasses almost everything here but still stay safe from the HAXX-police.
In all, Aurion is still pretty much an around S-rank mage. Notably performing better than most due to equipment, experience and something akin to a Rare Skill (External Energy Manipulation). I still like my balancing.

• Pixy teaches her the finer points of practical jokes and how to exploit her cuteness for self gain.
• Alan attempts to poison her mind with the need to engage in heroic deeds and serve the greater good by regaling her with inflated and romanticized tales of the teams exploits.
• Micheal teaches her how to kick everyones ass in video games and what the best sweets are.
• Atuwe ask her if she likes dresses and then posts a bunch of pics of her in various frilly outfits up on his website to generate a massive surge of traffic and increased ad revue. He then flees the planet with his ill gotten gains when Nanoha learns of this.
• Carter starts by trying to help with her math and science homework, but her constant long winded lectures on every aspect of the material ends up making it take nearly 5 hours by which time Vivio is long since asleep.
• Daniel attempts much the same with language arts and history, but instead launches into long monologues about "interesting history" and "legends" and also puts her to sleep, but not before she mumbles about how much he's like uncle Yūno.
• Teal'c merely sits nearby silently and intently keeps watch over her making her intensely uncomfortable
• Bizzeraly O'Neil fares the best and she ends up loving "Uncle Jack."

I'd like Jack and Cipher's methods to be seen.
As expected from them. Cipher Sagara-like seriousness in this matter is LOL-worthy. And Jack is extremely good as usual.

O’Neil interacted with kids the most over the course of the show and we do indeed see them handle children in a number of cases.

He had a lot of eps were he helped or cared for children actually it’s almost a defining characteristics of him, he loves kids allot and he’s quite good with them. He also has limits though he shot one child like android dead in cold blood when he thought she posed a serious threat to the planet for instance. The show left it ambiguous if it was necessary and while he clearly didn’t enjoy it he also didn’t really apologize for it.

That was enlightening.

Yup, her face, and specially her eyes, are quite tantalizing and very attractive. This artist, Tony Taka, sure knows how to draw attractive girls.

This is Iris' real design, so to speak. The other one with the Santa costume was made for fun, though it also fits her somewhat.

And you got that right about her age. She is still 17 right now... So maybe for when she is 19 (post StrikerS' epilogue most likely)

This is a plot development covered in FileS 3, the Case of the Warring Maidens.

The key to build one of the fundamental components of intelligence materialization was found in the Gardrobe forbidden library, encrypted in a code amongst the tombstones. While scanning, the Whispers decoded and haunted Kha with it during the search for the Lost Logia Yuuno, Chrono and him were after.

Later in that conflict, the need to optimize Kha's tiny mana pool without turning into Saber emerged, forcing him to use that data. It allowed him to build Sak-chan's material body, and recreate the first New Belka Unison Device. However, the materials required was inexorably expensive, as well as demanded the use of energized Claudia crystals that the Silvana's Claudia drive ran on (not the expended waste crystals), effectively curbing the massproduction of Unison Devices.

Now I don't want to spoil the plot for ya, but rest assured that there's a reason why that data was there in the first place. I try to make sure everything I've mentioned before by the end of the fic. But I also try to use it in surprising ways.

Not withstanding latest research into UDs, the TSAB does possess limited knowledge on the workings and maintenance of a Unison Device (as demonstrated by Rein undergoing repairs) such that they can repair and service a UD. That is enough technical knowhow to modify and program a Matrix projection entity (programless body of a Unison Device). Hence it is valid that Foy could program Valkyrie as mentioned in the snippet.

That leaves getting the programless body. Now this goes way way way back in the beginning of this thread. It was hinted back then that Sakura's current body isn't the most stable, and by logical extension, Kha should've experimented and created several bodies in case one failed. He's the kind of person that stores all his technical drabbles, and as magiengineering advances, go back and modify them. DaiStahlMut has been repeatedly upgraded to its latest incarnation until it's destruction by SGX during LerykS.

Valkyrie was hence made from Sakura's working spare parts, and Kha left the programming to Foy.

At the moment, that statement is valid. But Erio's Khalock ideas is going to change things.

Further during the series we see “maintenance” and such being done on Rein by a TSAB technician. I did say that the character development will shift in another direction... not that there wouldnt be any.

Still, good points, and its not that I dont agree with them...just that they are quite unusual and may detract to the experience one way or the other. (The fact that I will need to endure seeing Vivio in Season 4 is already a negative for me. )

You could always hope they do shift the focus away from them it seems rather unlikely but maybe they'll whore to Hayate fans in S4 or something so you won't see her as much. Still my veiw is "she's here, deal with it as best you can" I may not like canon at all times, but I still respect it.

I actually like the idea of two very close female friends. For me, its pretty cute, if done right. You could say that Nanoha X Fate was done quite well during the first two seasons. However, the fact that both Nanoha and, for a lesser extend, Fate grew up in a normal society should have made a huge impact on their character developments as both of them experienced their teenage years, and high-school in particular. They should have been interested in boys, etc etc etc.

And that's the problem with their character developments, really. Even after 10 years, their characters have not changed much at all. Probably the one who changed the most was Fate because of Erio and Caro.

To be honest, I've nothing against shoujo-ai. But yuri just pushes all the wrong buttons for me.

I think the main issue is linking it to a person, building the body is clearly within their abilities, but the unison effect seems to require something more iindeed all signs says it dose. Well your points are quite possibly valid. Though I think in Rein's case, its more like the part of Reinforce I that merged with Hayate sort of matured and separates from her LC and is born. Thats quite far-fetched and speculative, but its a possible explanation. Bloody canon never gave us any solid material to work on, so as always its all up to speculation.

Besides, I don't think it works for any other class but ancient Belka knights. Sure Zest did unison with Agito, but it seems like there were compatibility issues and it wasn't good for his failing body. It might just be because his body is failing and unison adds severe strain and stress to the body, but who knows...I'm clueless on UDs to be honest.
