I don't even know what's going on anymore.
Apparently RUN gave up and stopped deleting posts. Some other person named "uBJ7VhefNc" appears to be running the rest of the tournament now. No post deletions are taking place and the results count as-is. Affected matches are QF2, QF4, and all semifinal matches. Probably the final too. That's why the vote counts were so high recently.

Miracles and magic don't exist. It's all just coincidences. As suggested by the early results, the Madoka fanbase had given up on the tournament and Nodocchi throughly demolishes Sayaka. Just one more win to take home the crown. Joining her in the 6th same series final in Saimoe history is Miyanagi Saki. Maybe Shizuno would have done better two years ago but as expected she couldn't compete with the true main character of the series.
Final: Haramura Nodoka vs Miyanaga Saki Two juggernauts dating back as far as 2009 face off to determine the Saimoe 2014 Champion. This is also a rematch of a Saimoe 2012 Quarterfinal match where Nodoka narrowly beat Saki. With the decline of the Saki Side A characters, Nodocchi is likely back to being the number one Saki character. Even if this is Saki herself, it's tough to see her winning. However, in past same series finals it isn't uncommon for the underdog to make a surprisingly good run at the favourite even if they still end up losing. Nodocchi and Saki have both soundly defeated all of their opponents so far, even Puella Magi. As a result, it's hard to really say who has looked stronger in previous matches. In the end, I will be sticking with the prediction I made when the Puella Magi began to fall. Nodoka will be the Saimoe 2014 Champion. Vote: Miyanaga Saki Prediction: Haramura Nodoka

Official. I do not think RUN will be interfering in this. Victory speech forthcoming. If the results are manipulated in Saki's favor, the speech below will be removed. Spoiler for the victory speech:

Assuming those results hold we have our first finals tie in Saimoe history! Saki is probably happy with this but I'm assuming Nodoka will have some choice words for her regarding putting in full effort into a match. In any case, congrats to Saki and Nodoka on their performances! I guess this makes Saki the first series to have three champions. First the past four years, Madoka and Saki have taken turns dominating the field. It's too bad they were never both super strong during the same year. In the two years they shared, they took turns coming up short. For those who are tired of this, it looks like next year is both Madoka and Saki free. Perhaps we'll see a new face take home the win or maybe a long time veteran will be rewarded for years of hard work. I guess there's no guarantee there will even be a next year but I'll definitely be back if there is. And once again congrats to Saki and Nodoka on their win!

Well... At least it's over.
I'm not going to give two @#$%s on this thing next year to say the least. Suffice to say, I doubt I'm the only one who thinks this year's tournament is by far the worst ever.

I am conflicted, it looked rather suspicious this year with how it was ran, on the other hand actually seeing a tie is a bizarre twist, especially for when it's 2 characters I ship , which makes it an amazing result to me with Saki's ability set for ties only make it more interesting.

This is so... unsatisfying, even when the lead yuri ship of Saki both took the crown.
That said, I would still be back next year. Madoka-free and Saki-free aside, no Railgun (which means less China interference), and there are girls that I like in Kancolle, and even if Kancolle ends up being like Girls und Panzer in Saimoe (popular all-girl shows with military elements but not very strong in Saimoe), there are still girls in other new shows that I'll root for. Just hope that those 2ch admins won't have much interference work again (false hope I know, *sigh*)
