One character that I'm curious about is Saotome Suzu, she appears to be quite important but still remain surrounded in mystery. I would like to know more about her, like her objectives.

i'm sure i've read every page of this thread at less one or twice,yet i don't remember anything about why she was,for so long,interested about yakou?

I don't think the author has expanded on that topic yet, IIRC. (I've only read till the first chapter of volume 8 though)

According to my sources (reads: Japanese Wikipedia), she is not with them out of her own will. It appears that the Twin Horn used the "secret technique of the Souma House" to revive her father as Takiko's shikigami, and they are using that fact as leverage to keep Suzuka on a tight leash. Incidentally, it also seems that Suzuka's father was originally a member of the Souma House, but later married into the Dairenji House - which was a traditional, more prestigious Shintoist lineage.

Considering her relationship with her dad, I don't see how having him could force Suzuka to their side.

It is exactly BECAUSE of that relationship. Suzuka fears her dad more than anything, so the Twin Horn are having him keep his daughter under control (he has all the powers, memories and personality from when he was alive even after being revived).

IIRC Shidou said Suzuka is accompanying Takiko (in training) in her pastime, and that's it. Someone trolling the wiki?

Oh I'm not disagreeing with that especially given everyone is probably around 19-18 years old now. I just could also easily see them not doing it either.

Well he is more or less the one of strongest shamans in Japan right now. If he does get defeated it won't be for a long time.

As far we know at moment, she is the famed Yakou researcher who used to work in the Spirit Division/Department and happens to be close friends Ohtomo and Zen. IIRC she's apparently traveling/allied with Harutora as of vol 10.

There is a new Tokyo Ravens EX in where it supposedly focuses on Ohtomo's younger days at the academy. So well probably get a bit more her in there too.
