The cost developing on both hidef consoles are quiet large, so you do have a bigger risk. Now releasing it on serval system simply reduces the risk factor. If crystal tools is similar to MT framework, the developing cost for a port, in this case 360 version, shouldn't be big. Expect more former exclusive titles, from 3rd parties, for both microsoft and sony systems to go multiplattform in this generation, since the systems are quiet similar.

well that's what you get for jumping in early :P
Nah, but really, it's not like the PS3 is game less or anything. You still have worth wild titles coming out for it. I mean I guess I can understand from a financial angle. If you owned a PS2 last gen, you were pretty much set. You had the best variety out there. Sadly, that isn't the case this gen. Now you know how Nintendo fans felt(kidding)! Anyway, conference should be starting soon. Bring on Kratos! |

Which is quite a relief for me, as it does show that it can go both ways outside of Japan. Having FF13 coming out for the 360 can mean that the PS3 is declining, but Bandai/Namco seeing that a PS3 release of ES is warranted can mean that the console battle isn't so one-sided after all. While sure it isn't as big as something like FF13, but at least its SOMETHING. Best news I've heard in a while for the PS3; I was afraid that with the 360 seemingly getting all the RPGs, it would be a slow death for my PS3 b/c none of the games of the genre I like would be coming out for it.
