I think the process wouldn't have taken that long, maybe a couple of minutes? Kissshot wanted to off herself by doing that but she was so powerful that not even that could kill her. It goes to show that the only sure way to kill a vampire is to suck out its existence. |

that being the case, I still don't think it would kill Kissshot. Or would it?

The time it takes a vampire to evaporate under the sun depends on the vampire's regenerative power. In the case of a Kissshot's subordinate, it may take long since Kissshot has an extraordinary regenerative power, and her subordinates should have at least half of her powers.
I think Kissshot became so powerful mostly because she has lived so long, so 400 years ago her regenerative power was probably on the level of a normal vampire. Then again, it seems she has always eaten only one person per month, meaning that she could have been that strong from the start. What is certain is that she has more battle experience than anyone else, and it is stated that Episode alone was no match for her. |

I was referring to crosses in general, seeing as she told him that it would take a long time for him to die under the sun.
The cross, however, left him with no shoulder for awhile. That being said, Kissshot seems too invincible to be killed by even that.

She stayed silent because she was holding a grudge against Araragi, who didn't grant her what she wished at the end of Kizu. In the end she got over it and started talking again. Quote:

She only calls him that sometimes, either when she speaking of him in the third person or if the situation demands it. Most of the time she uses omaesama お前さま, which is an archaic way of saying "you" politely. She used to use unu うぬ, which is pretty vulgar, when the relationship was reversed.

Well she was practically invincible so I'm sure she didn't take too much notice of her surroundings since no one was really a threat to her. Add the fact that Oshino is probably the sneakiest bastard in the world and there you go. Basically she just didn't realize that Oshino existed so he had that one chance to sneak up on her. If I remember right Oshino said it was mostly luck that he was able to do it.
