Are British voice actors really that expensive? I mean, it's King Arthur FFS.
Fate/Zero was a great opportunity for a dub with a wide range of ethnic accents ( Iri- German, Lancer - Irish, Kayneth, Waver, Saber- British, Gilles - French... ), but it seems they squandered that opportunity. |

I'm torn. On the one hand, I said the dub would be ruined for me if they didn't get Kate Higgins back (still don't understand why they haven't either time). On the other, I also love Kari Wahlgren. Sigh. How to feel
Though I do agree about the ethnic accent missed opportunity. Would've been cool. Too late now though. Oh, and I definitely heard Crispin Freeman in there. Awesome. ANN is saying he's Kirei. And yet Jamieson Price got moved to Rider. What? Last edited by Xagzan; 2013-02-07 at 22:33. |

Hi! I'm a newbie both to Fate Zero and the forum and I just had some questions, mostly about the mechanics of the Grail. I thought that six servants had to die before the Grail could be summoned, but Alexander offered a permanent alliance to Saber and Gil indicating that they did not need to be sacrificed. So do the Servants have to die, or just submit to another Servant?
In addition, the Grail was summoned with several servants still living. Are the sacrifices only necessary to make a wish upon the Grail? Is the vessel necessary to summon the Grail? Why didn't more people try to find it then? Would the Grail automatically appear once six Servants had been killed? |

Alexander doesn't want the Grail, or at least doesn't desire to wish for anything more than a new body (which is reasonably easy to achieve).
In general, the number of servants that need to die for a wish to be valid depends on the difficulty of the wish. Something like that would only require a few of the servants to be dead.

He didn't know Iri was the vessel of the Grail. I recommend you do. Skip the Fate/Stay Night anime until you have read the visual novel. The anime is a shallow version of the first route of the visual novel. |

Einzbern consultation room's final episode turned out to be surprisingly serious. The whole thing was actually an epilogue to the anime, and sort of links Fate/Zero to F/SN. T-chan was exactly who we thought she was. Iri taught her well.
