Sweet, thanks for that. Just scanned and uploaded two songs — Lovely Sister LOVE and Hell the World.

And I just looked through old PMs. X4NDR is the guy I sent Heart Goes Boom to, but we haven't heard from him here in quite a while, huh. Someone should poke him to make sure he's alive. >_>

Hi guys.

New to this forum because I registered because I love this thread and have a few questions.

I'm thinking of buying K-ON Official Band Yarouyo part 3 from cdjapan.co.jp (for christmas) and I just want to make sure of a few things before I do buy it.

For those who want a summary of questions, look down

Firstly, the following songs under 'part 3' of iuniver's post (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...62#post3270262) are all the songs in the book right? Just making sure since cdjapan doesn't really specify all of the songs.

Also there are tabs and also the treble clef for the guitars here as well? I am relatively new at guitar although much more experienced in piano but I'm buying these books to get me started in guitar. I just need the tabs cause I can't read music for guitar, just piano.

Also there are explanation of some symbols used in the tabs? Probably in Japanese, but I can use a dictionary to help and maybe even some experienced friends who buys tab books for help.

Are the guitar solos also included in the book? Sometimes I see tab books being a bit lazy to tab out the whole solo. I want to learn absolutely everything.

And a bit of a random question. With the points you earn from buying products from cdjapan.co.jp, what do I do with these points? I know in Japan it is quite a fad to buy otaku things and earn points and use them later on to buy more items. Not sure this is true for cdjapan.co.jp so anyone care to explain?

1)Yes, all the songs included in iuiniver's post in part 3 is included in the Official Band Yarouyo 3 book.
2)The books include a tablature and musical staff for the guitars and the bass. Vocals, Keyboard, and Drums are placed only on a musical staff and, if included, percussion is placed only on a percussive line.
3)At the back of the Official Score Books is a legend and technique description telling you what the techniques are and what the notes are for a drum kit. This part is in complete Japanese. There is a post on iuiniver's index showing what the page looks like.
4)The books have the COMPLETE score of the songs from the first beat to the last. Some solos don't sound like they should but it's not that big of a difference.
5)You'll need to find someone else who uses cdjapan. I order off ebay, sorry!

Unfortunately, the Japanese use slightly different terms than us.

.... Fortunately, I've already looked them up. If book3 has something missing from this, do tell and somehow show me before I get a copy. Hoping to go back to Japan in April or using up my CDJapan points.

hey, from the example 1 (jajauma way to go), the guy is playing the one which the light music club sold that's worth 500 000 yen!!!! (you know,the one with the Brazilian rosewood fretboard and modified tailpiece and such). that's expensive....(i think its the same, in style, ).
