It seems to me like Xuse has been fairly cooperative with Takase in general, since they are pushing the High Res Contents Book on their main page, but I guess more freedom is better regardless. Anyways, ears will be perked to hear of any new developments in the coming while. Looking forward to seeing where he takes things from here.

Re: the card game

So final wrap up details are being made for shipping out the card game to the people who preordered it. The primary public release looks like its going to be at C94, so I guess we'll be waiting until then to get our hands on it anyways. I haven't seen any mention of a way to get it besides literally walking to Comiket, but hopefully we'll see some sort of web purchase option after the initial sale.

World and setting has my vote. I'm pleased to see it winning by a large margin. But character and visuals being in last place baffles.

IKR, but I am pleased since it'll encourage Takase to focus more on writing and setting. (and hopefully not moe-ify all the girls too much)

What I'm really thinking is how gameplay can be no 2.... Above the scenario even. Seinarukana was tedious af, let alone Aselia

The new designs are just sub-par. I hope they won't use them again and go back to the original designer. Hitomaru's designs are more detailed and have a gritty seinen feel that goes well with a fantasy setting, and funny enough they are a lot more cuter than the new designs that tries to simplify and moeify them.

Exactly....Playing the old Eien Shinken stuff, one gets an older JRPG feel as opposed to the current idol-anime like designs. However, Hitomaru is Xuse no? I don't see much chance of him jumping ship unfortunately

Hitomaru is a Xuse staff member. Nearly all artworks at Naofumi's pixiv and every setting book except High Res were drawn by Hitomaru. Of course those works are considered doujin, so it would be fine for Hitomaru to collaborate freely. High Res was the first time New Testament was commercialized, so that might be why they had to get another character designer. But Xuse seemingly gave Naofumi their blessing in 2016 when they were promoting EnA's Premium SE along side New Testament, so I can't see why there could be a legal problem. In addition, Hitomaru was credited as the character designer on Everlasting's website that's still up and with Xuse's copyright being listed.

Let's hope Hitomaru can be employed now that the copyrights to Aselia and Seinarukana will supposedly be given to Naofumi.

I thought that as well for a while. But he actually can't draw. The way Hitomaru draws eyes are very distinctive, so it quite easy to identify that it was Hitomaru all along.

At any rate, the artwork from the set that first introduced Myugi and the other Law Eternals was the best. Do hope we'll see more artwork in that style

For those who are unaware, Takase has set up a patreon-style thing with Pixiv (called Pixiv Fanbox?) where he is making basically what looks to be just blog posts talking about things related to the series.

Minimum support level to see them is 500 yen (about $5). I'm a bit skeptical of the patreon model in general, so I'm not supporting, but if any of you are thirsty enough for more info then there's an option for you.

Anyone here can view the blog talk about cast change? Endou Yurika is unfortunately retired, so there's a need to replace Temuorin's VA. But is she the only one? I'm worried and curious at the same time.

Nah. Temuorin have been voiced by two other seiyuus. Yurika, imo, is the best one yet. She was perfect.
