I juts figured that the atmosphere in their earth extends that far. Technically the atmosphere does extend that distance, it's just really, REALLY thin. But wow, she's her father's daughter alright, barely learns to walk and she's already visiting the stratosphere while exuding a rather impressive aura. I do believe we might see a 3-year-old SS. Although that would make it weird that she never went SS in GT, but then it's already weird that Goku never uses his god powers in that series.

What I want to see though is Gohan take a couple trips in Whis's time-dilation device and learn to go Blue like his father. It was fairly well established some time ago that his power potential is almost unlimited, he just focuses so much on studying that he doesn't have time to train, and thus winds up unable to tap into those powers. I'm pretty darn certain he can go Blue with just a little training.

The one other thing I want to see is Vegeta making his promised visit to the other Saiyan home-world. I'm sure he'd be able to find some way.

You seem to forget that Gohan is less battle-friendly than Goku and/or Vegeta and prefers peace.
It's not just that he doesn't find time for training, it's that he doesn't even feel the need to do so.

GT isn't canon, is it? So I don't see why the writers should care if Super contradicts GT.

The thing with Pan flying is probably just a reference to one of the few established character-traits we got for her in the manga's final chapters; She's a freakishly good flier. Like, her introduction in the manga is literally her flying over to Goku and saying "Grandpa, I finished my lap around the Earth!"

it's awesome when akira make look so easy to be a father or husband by leaving his family or wife alone for one year or more, when he dies and instead of come back to life to his family he prefer to stay death just to "train more and become strong", well while this could be common in japan parents (specially father) be a "hard work" and expend more time at work than with the family this is also considered a problem in japan too because it's doing damage to the childrens and the family many family breaking exactly because of this, the father or mother or both start to be too away from the childrens and this does damage on they personality or in the family.

well whatever just the fact which you can easy see the large difference between goku and vegita when comes to deal with family.

being a parent is not come and say "i'm going to leave you behind for one year or more and well take a kiss to make for it", while i'm not really a father at last i'm a good uncle wich i saw one of my brothers being a bad father almost like goku
( he is like the type to like to make childrens but later break with his woman and leave her and the children to live alone behind and in the end is our mother which ending take the responsaiblity of take care of his childrens.

i really know a lot of being " bad father" i have a good exemple close to me and that is one of the reason i can easy see how goku is really protraited terrible as a father.

father is not just to "play around" is being here when the children need him is "making sacrifices" for they sake and by sacrifice i'm not talking about "become a "workaholic" but knowing how to balance work and be a "Father".

This week's episode was weird...

I had some fun watching it but wasn't really sold on the comedy. Seeing Trunks again is refreshing though. Yeah, that ending is weird. We got a doppelganger Vegeta although I doubt it's strong as the original.

vegita goes from a scumbass to a good father
goku is so far a childshi person which put "fight" above everything even the "protect friends" sometimes looks less important than a fight itself(like is more a excuse for him to fight than actually his reason to fight).

one thing is when a character start bad but learn over time another is when he "seens like never learn" or don't want to learn or just don't care about it.

yeah that i see too, maybe now akira can make goku look like a better parent than before, but my point is which so far goku really not was a really "good exemple" of father or husband" to take in account his childsh and carefree acts aways make him really look bad, like really chichi must really deep love goku otherwise she could already cheated on him or break with him, because how much wifes could be fine with they husband leave then alones for years "just because they want to train more" , this make goku looks like the muscle maniacs guys, which only have muscle in brains and use the "things to become more and more strong and the obssession goes really crazy.

goku obssession for fights is a little over the top for me and sometimes make hard to stick for him, the gods battle arc was a exemple, goku in his selfish desire for fight risked the whole earth and everyone 2 times(one to challenge beerus brother to start the tournament and a second to fight momoka or birus in disguise which again could result in earth destruction while goku was totally carefree again and ignore which maybe his fight could result in earth detruction and was needed the other guy to stop them, this really make me doubt about goku "hero side.
