Hello again
We're now up to chapter 147, the battle appears to be drawing to a climax and it doesn't look good for Tabitha! Priscilla proves once again that she is one cold bitch and an incredible fighter. What happens next? Does Clare take advantage of Priscilla's having a sword stuck through her neck to finish the job or does Priscilla finish off Raki then Clare?
In case anyone is interested, I've started writing: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/1003889...nd-the-Trainee Check it out please. |

There is a Claymore beauty contest going on right now on MH. The elimination round is already over but the first voting round is still going on.
http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showth...ter-Tournament And you do not have to be a member to vote. The voting takes place in a google document or something, so you don't need an account.

We shoulda known
The teaser profile at the end of chapter #149 shouldn't have been a real surprise. There have been little hints dropped throughout much of the manga, of there being more to Clare than met the eye. All the way back in chapter 26, Miria remarked about how she had a feeling the strongest was standing before her instead of a weak number 47 named Clare. Now we have to wait a whole 'nother month!

Woah!
As expected, Yagi pulled another rabbit out of his hat. Teresa is back and she's already schooled Raki and slammed Cassandra with her bare hands. Everyone knows she's back and soon, she and Priscilla will finish up what they started so long ago. Hopefully the final battle will not be a let down. I have followed this tale since volume two and winced at the anime. (Still bought it though) I've heard that Yagi is retiring after this due to health reasons, though it would be nice to see a follow up series.

Now I liked the show really but Claymore also has the habit of drawing big fights out into many episodes. While I understand that this is good business for animation companies that want to get the most out of a manga license, it's still annoying to have one battle, with one bad guy, stretch out for three or more episodes.
Claymore is a solid show in its genre, with plenty of action, nice artwork, and an interesting story. It's not the best show in its category, but fans of sword and sorcery won't be disappointed and even those who prefer sci-fi or drama might be interested in checking this one out. |

Wait! Why even go to the awakening reversal research? Didn't the Organisation win when they created the abyssal feeders? They were controllable, easy to maintain and they were this sick homing bioweapon that everyone wants. All they had to do is train the Feeders to attack only dragonkin and bam! the war is solved.
