I think you might need an account on Cure to access it, but this rendition of loli-Sakura from Fate/Zero really impressed me:
http://en.curecos.com/picture/detail?id=17009116 I also absolutely love the pose and expression in this Otome Youkai Zakuro cosplay: http://en.curecos.com/picture/detail?id=14859305 Quote:
The skin gloss is a bit much on some of the shots, but the attention to detail on the sets, costumes, and lighting is pretty insane. Reminds me of some of the stuff Yuuroan used to post on his blog, with perhaps even high production values - too bad many of Yuuroan's old posts are inaccessible due to some sort of site issue.

Frankly, she could claim she's cosplaying Ronald McDonald and I'd just nod and offer lunch. The "perfect" had little to do with what she was cosplaying, I just consider her an "avatar of pixie perfect"

I think I'd be rendered a drooling idiot from 'pixie cute' overload.
Random thought; In a way I'm jealous. Women have much more variety in their clothing choice then men. Looking at that, it kind of makes me think guys have nothing that can compare. We get the same tired old Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Master Chief, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Seppiroth, Sailor Mo- OH GOD MY EYES. I don't just mean in Cosplay either women get far more ways to express themselves through their clothing, while males doing anything remotely the same are tarred with some (derogatory) label. I think that if I ended up a girl for a day, I'd probably end up running around trying on various types of clothing to see what I looked like... which sounds way weirder then I intended.

No matter what I did, it would come in about 90 tiers below the little Monsters, Inc. cosplay just posted.
Seriously... I'm pretty much limited to Van Helsing, the Captain with the two catgirls in Nanoha, or some of the stock "long-haired silver guy with a Winfield mustache, usually a shinto priest mage warrior something". Younger guys have a few more options (Kyon, the Soul Eater characters, TTGL cast, etc). Naturally, I'd prefer the one that needs an escort of two catgirls but I can never quite convince anyone who would be suitable

I've seen some impressive stuff, though. Not just really good crossplay but also some amazing brolitas. It makes me rage when your average-looking dude can pull off super-OTT pink amaloli so much better than I can. And I'm pretty much restricted to black and white and darker colors...

I'm a beanpole myself, it'd take a ridiculous amount of work to make look anything decent for a... Crossplay (cross dressing?). I make a decent looking scientist though with the labcoat and stuff, since I have a fair dry (and sarcastic) personality. I could probably pull off a corporate investigator type, but I'd need the right clothing to bulk me up a bit.
