If you look at their shuriken-holsters, both Sasuke and Kakashi must be right-handed. So I guess there is another reason.

Do you think it got something to do wit Kakshi Having Sharingan in his Left Eye?
i have not seen the manga...but in the anime whr Kakshi did the Chidori Agaisnt Zabuza he always kept the Non-Sharingan Eye Closed.....just a theory........

The first hokage founded the leaf village and he is the grandfather of the fifth hokage who is in her 50's and rightfully old enough to have grandchildren. With this in mind, it is probably impossible for the leaf village to be more than 150 years old. The third hokage was a child when the first and second hokages told him he would someday be hokage as well. So with that in mind, the leaf village must be at least 75 years old.

Between 75 and 150 years isn't a very specific answer, but it is the best I can give without assuming.

More precisely Konoha exists since only 5~6 generations ie 80~85 years.

Yep, but that would be assuming there is a 14 to 17 year difference between each generation (which is typical, but may not be true). Then again.... why the hell am i arguing about trivialities?

Because trivialities is basically the main point of this thread?

Well it's true that there is 13~14 years between Naruto and Kakashi, twice this number between Kakashi and Jiraiya so probably 13~14 years between Jiraiya and the 4th and finally 18 years between Jiraiya and the 3rd.

But actually my reasonning was rather simplier than that, The generation of the 1st and the 2nd is the one who created Konoha and thus Sandaime's generation the first one to be really born in the village, ie about 70 years ago.

Add some years to really built the village and its institution like the ninja academy and a bunch of years because there is no reason to think that the 3rd was the first baby of Konoha and you obtain about 80 years old.

Seems rational enough for me, but once again, it is assuming that the third hokage was among the first born in his generation and not the last. There are too many x factors to say for sure. I am complicating this more than it needs to be, but i've always been an anal retentive prick when it comes to algebra.

Different last names (Shiranui Genma and Gekkou Hayate) - that, plus personally I don't think they look terribly alike.

What are those lines on the sides of Naruto's face supposed to be? I thought they might be grin-wrinkles, but they're always there. Are they just a stylistic flourish? Or are they something more?

They're representation of whiskers. Yes foxes have whiskers just like cats do.

Notice when Naruto is in Kyubi mode those lines you speekk of grow and become more defined.

He'll eventually get that higher rank and will most likely keep rising in rank and in the process prove himself worthy of the Hokage title.

Hahaha, grin-wrinkles?

They most likely were imprinted onto his cheeks after the Kyuubi was sealed into his stomach.

From the later chapters, it looked as if Orochimaru had negated the effect of having his "soul-arms" taken from his body by possesing the body of that blonde man. How has transmuting his soul into another body fix the problem of not having his "soul-arms"?
