Magic is out of the rules/laws if the world so the only thing that can be related is the form which the magicians gives to them. |

Of course, as of now, with our current technology/knowledge it's practically "impossible" to build something like that... but, theory says it is possible. Just like time travel, going by the principle: "what is not denied is allowed" neither Einstein's relativity nor quantum mechanics deny the possibility, then we have to conclude time travel is actually "possible", in theory at least. btw, I believe everyone who watches Index already knows that: entertainment >>> science. So... PS: anyways, GJ! your work is very much appreciated.

To Cantelope
A list of things achieved by Astral in Hand: 1. Russia is still in daytime a second before, now it is night all fo sudden. And no damage was done to the surface of the Earth while doing this. 2. All the stars that should be shining int he sky, now all suddenly gone. 3. It is also stated it can stop planet rotation immediatly Oh, and if you worry this'll end up like Bleach. Don't worry, there are at least 3 other characters in the same league as his, and they are not on his side. So, no, it won't become the situation that everyone will disappear with only the main and the villian. If anything, the fight against the said Archangel and a certain walking reality cheat code that summoned her has told us the cast in this show prefer to use the pwoer of team work in defeating overpowerd hax. |

Nothing about russia please, we're not quite there yet... I dont know where the Bleach comparison comes from, but surely after two seasons anyone can tell that the fighting formula in toaru is completely different than those of Bleach.

And the crazy thing about the building is the moment that crazy energy is put on it. It should be disintegrate because of to much energy intake. And I can't understand the explanation in the magazine too. But aside from the crazy blast the building thing. I can understand on the windowless building. The windowless building is in another dimension. You can see it but the same time you can't touch it. So the full force attack of accelerator just think of it that it hits nothing or it hits a space that eats up anything. More like he throws it into the space. An empty space or maybe my explanation might be wrong too. But the windowless building can't be touch or hit by an attack because it's not their to begin with.

I'm of the opinion that a good show is at least 90% realistic, and 10% magic. Tastes vary of course. Anyways, glad you enjoyed it; number crunching for these types of ridiculous fictional scenarios are always fun. Quote:
In any case, I'd also pick a bone with the whole 11th dimension junk that the series loves to throw around, but my string theory isn't strong enough to pick it apart in the specifics. Nonetheless, as far as what little reading I've done on the subject I'm certain that dimensions do not work in the manner that everyone believes it does though (as if each dimension is a different plane of existence). In any case I'm just pondering what I'd personally do with the energy of 20.141 billion nuclear bombs, hmmm...not pay electric bills for the rest of Earth's lifespan?

so no, it's not at all ridiculous for someone with adequate power to be far above black holes NOTE: i'm not actually saying that Aleister is that powerful, since we haven't seen him do something like that yet, i am merely using him to make a point this series isn't science fiction, it's urban fantasy, and the fantasy part, especially the religious theology, plays the biggest role... |

And on the topic of Aleister messing with the laws of the universe... Later events show him being able to do just that, I'll keep it vague enough to not get hammered by the mods. Go over to the novel thread and ask for details there if interested. |

It's obviously a Joke. I mean that J.C. staff punish Misaka becouse she oblige the author to make a personal series. Something like Misaka: Make me a persona series or....biribiribiribiribiri...(railgun) Staff: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Then that's the punishment...minor parts in majutsu no index XD
