From what I've heard, the 4kids version of the original anime skipped all or most episodes that does not have Syaoran in them. That's total butchery. Glad that 4kids bit the dust, and good riddance.

Anyway, as for this new anime... looks really promising.

Yeah, all the hate this got after the OVA seems pretty misplaced to me - as if people were expecting no stylistic changes after all these years. I suspect Morio is going to put out a very good product here.

Saori Hayami Performs Ending Theme for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Anime

The official website for the television anime of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card manga announced on Tuesday that Saori Hayami will perform the anime's ending theme song "Jewelry." The song will be part of Hayami's 4th single of the same name, which will ship in Japan on March 28. Hayami wrote and composed the song with arrangement by Tatsuya Kurauchi.

Maaya Sakamoto is returning to the franchise to perform the opening theme song "CLEAR." Sakamoto wrote the song's lyrics and Ikimono-gakari member Yoshiki Mizuno composed the song.

2 cours? Well, more Sakura isn't a bad thing, though I have a less than good feeling about the motive for this.

Whenever someone brings up Platina and how much nostalgia it brings, I can't help but feel a bit left out, since the spanish dub never even adapted it, and just used Catch you Catch me again, even when the visuals for the OP changed.

Wow, talk about nostalgia! Really enjoyed watching this, since it brings back memories of my childhood...yet at the same time can't help feeling sad because it also made me realize how many years it's been and now I feel so old compared to then.
