I don't like incest stories - Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like the genre per se, but there just isn't any good ones out there. If Oreimo is the standard by which you can decide the quality, the total number of incest-themed stories can be counted on one hand. Or perhaps just 2-3 fingers. In fact OreImo feels more harem than incest, with the finale so disappointing. Tsunderes turn me off even before the incest comes into play.

I never had any younger sis, only one elder sister who's older by 9 yrs. I love my sister very, very much. Not to the point where I want to marry her, of course, but at least to want to stay together forever. Sadly, that's not possible. She and I are both married now to different people, and she'd followed my bro-in-law overseas. We don't get to see each other often these days, and didn't even get to contact each other much because of our different lifestyle. To this day I still miss her a lot.

The fact is incest only feels icky because you are overfamiliar with your family members. Even before Weskermarck effect comes into play, Familiarity breeds contempt, so you won't feel like doing anything more to them. Just like a couple of 3-5yrs doesn't have sex any more. We like incest because of the taboo involved, not because we got sis/bro-complex.

Having gotten that off my chest, I still can't find any decent incest-themed stories involving blood-related siblings. I kind of wanna scream to the otakus out there: "Yo, normalfags! Taboos ain't meant to be kept in hentai alone! It's there iRL because, duh, they ain't taboo if they don't exist rite?!?"

Your problem is that you are looking for romances when they are writing harems. These lonelyfags (no they aren't normal...normalfags know how to write romances) are too busy having random cardboard cutout females fawn over the MC and they ain't got no time for a proper taboo incestuous romance. The whole point of an incestuous romance is that it's special! Two people, JUST THE TWO, too close for comfort, intertwined in desperate, passionate taboo love! Or maybe it's just light comedy...but it still has to be special! That means the token harem sister bullshit can fuck right off.

I recommend manga. It's a much bigger medium. People actually know how to write romances. Sometimes.

It misses a few pretty important newer ones, like the shoujo manga True Love, which is proper romantic and dramatic both, if shoujo-y (well...).

You may ironically find that BL, of all genres, are most open to not-step sibling romances, which is probably not what you're looking for. For the other prolific genre with het couples, shoujo manga has a LOT of incest, but they are almost always step-siblings probably due to publication pressures and silly things like public morals and norms. Some of them just add that step part right at the very end, though, because they know what the audience really wants.

Well if it was harem or isekai thing I would without thinking, but starting real world non harem story needs a lot of consideration . But as I can't find anything that would interest me lately (seriously, why does everyone call it template if thre is hardly anything that goes by it) I might try it.

But what to say. I was expecting more of an incest novel, but this is rather a novel about one guy getting his school life destroyed by his yunger sister, against whom he fails to even try to defend the least bit (even though it is easy as hell).

As far as I've read, the story is more about Takeru coming to sense with his past and his family circumstances. The first part is actually very similar to a mystery novel sorta. Although a very lighthearted one with lots of comedy.
