AnimeSuki Banner Contest - July 2007 - Final Vote

The first thread for the sky competition had NW saying for the extended competition we could make are own gradients. And if we'd use one person's banner set all day then it wouldn't matter if they matched someone else's or not.

I could probably use the provided day/night ones with little adjustment but the dawn/dusk banners really don't invoke those times to me (though they are nice gradients).

And I forgot to thank the mods for organizing and running the competition.

The bottom of my first post in the submission thread actually explained what I was planning. Also, regarding the "different styles" problem that Deathkillz mentioned: It won't apply in this case. A consistent background for all entries is only needed when they are switched on every few page refreshes (like it does now). The winners of the extension will be displayed over a whole day. Hence the need for a consistent theme running through the set of banners. Anyone who checks the forum over the whole day will see the banner progression, from morning to night. A skilled creator might even be able to tell a story with the pictures...

I read that as a person's banner set will be run the entire day so different backgrounds from different people will not be a problem since only one person goes in a day as opposed to how it's now where several banners are in the rotation at the same time.
