This episode seals it for me, I think. I'm pretty sure now that this is very much a show about growing up.
The main issue that this series seems to like tackling is the concept of adulthood, particularly what does it mean to become an adult? To some, adulthood is the stage in one's life where they abandon their adolescent autonomy and integrate themselves into humdrum of everyday society. It also marks a transition from "doing what you want to do" to "doing what society tells you to do". Adulthood is a cold wake-up call that forces children to graduate from their adolescent fantasies. All this can be seen from the sad state that Naoko was reduced to. After all the years that passed, it seems that she lost her ability to truly sing. Now that the main gang is given the choice to either idly accept their graduation into adulthood or go out smiling and singing, they went with the latter. The use of music here is a symbol is particularly good in that despite going their separate ways, they will never truly lose sight of the youth that they shared thanks to Wakana's song. The whole thing is kinda reminiscent of the 4th episode of Kino's Journey, and that didn't turn out so well, I believe.

You know, I'm glad Tanaka simply asked rather than did the dumbest thing and tried to take pictures of her secretly. Sometimes I have to remind myself this anime isn't so over-the-top |

Great episode. Konatsu's speech during the reunion was very inspiring and even managed to move the director as well as a few of her fellow students. Sadly, it wasn't enough to get them to "cancel the cancellation" of the festival. Nevertheless, she did her best and it's what matters. Every single one of them did.
More hints of romance between Sawa and Taichi (though it's more of a one-sided crush from Taichi for now). I liked how he kept the best picture for himself and gave away a crappy one to his mate (it's a picture of the goddess Sawa, so it's superb anyway). However, once again, with only one episode left it's doubtful this romance will go anywhere. The best we can hope for is to see them together after a timeskip. The scene at the cemetery was the most powerful of the episode for me. The writers hit just the right note once again. It was emotional without being melodramatic. That's what I love about this series. Sad there is only one episode left. I'm going to miss this show. It cracks me up every time

Ep 12 truly have another warming-heart moments... can you believe that a small new club consists of 5 students can move all of students???
honestly I never imagine how I feel if my school will be closed... Radiant melody has similar melody with Melody of the Heart... hehehe at least, it can move Vice Principal's heart to smile and cry I love how Wien gave an attempt to end group's arguments, how Wakana talked to Vice Principal in front of her mother's grave, how Konatsu interacts with the student council and especially choir club, how Sawa interact with shops around the school especially school's alumni, and at last how Tanaka shows his determination... and feeling toward Sawa.. lol last episode will be a good closing.... I honestly expect P.A. Works will do their best job in putting the best ending for this simple but awesome anime |

That one is the most unexpected thing in the whole episode for me, and simply the best moment. I thought they're going to argue and then ended in another depressing situation (maybe they have no enough time to be depressed anymore, so Wien ended the argument that way).
I hope they'll make 15-20 mins of performance and 5 mins for epilogue in the next episode

The White Festival no matter what!
Those kids really have some spirit. Konatsu sure has lots of spirit, heart and willpower. She never quits when she sets her mind on something. I really admire her, even though she's not right every time. We finally got the see Vice Principals gentler side too ^^

Anyways, good episode as always, I liked the girls the most ... as always. The episode was preparatory for the gran finale. For a moment I thought they would have gone with the choir secretly studying Wakana's song and supporting the club, having as a result ALL the school singing together her song, a la wein few episodes ago, but that doesn't seem the case given the previews. But who knows. On a side note, Sawa is awesome

But chances are if this was planned we'd have seen some hints of Prince-style costumes being made. No such luck there though, so...

I loved the part when Tanaka was feeling down because he didn't feel like he was pulling his weight for the festival, and Wein tells him he believed in him... Nice to see that the guys are just as close together as the girls are with eachother, very reminiscent of real life where people are usually closer within gender in such a close knot close, while still showing the overall bond between everyone.
