So yeah, they changed the scene with Milinda receiving Quenser's message in the cockpit to her being in the middle of a health checkup with a nurse giving her a massage. At least we got the nurse teasing her about the message.
Besides that scene it was a good adaptation. They only cut minor things that didn't affect the plot like the talk about the JPlevelMHD reactors, the powered suits the higher ups had prepared for the two idiots and Heivia losing his rifle and being forced to use his handgun until he ran out of ammo. I'm a bit confused with the Killer Squall scene, since in the translated novel they ask for the WL3B1 and Milinda used the WL3B2, the Killer Squall, while in the anime it's backwards. Maybe Js06 made a mistake. In the mission briefing they stated that the Tri-Core is presumed to be from the Information Alliance. They used "presumed" because it's concealing its affiliation while he helps terrorists by getting oil for them. What I didn't expect was the small scene with councilor Flide and the mention of the Technopics. Hey, maybe the anime will have the fight with the councilor, who knows. |

While I liked the first 3 episodes, this was definitely better in capturing what HO is all about. It had the insanity, comedy, fanservice (although I would have preferred they kept the text message scene the same), and the action all-in-one. Quenser & Hevia's banter was also portrayed much better here and I do hope people paid attention to the shark anchor and goal net! Some cuts here and there I wondered why, but it turned out funnier. I was kind of hoping they'd cut the episode at the part where Quenser decides to aid the princess and jumps out, but this gives a better sense of it being impossible.
Tri-Core was surprisingly massive. When I read it, I was picturing it similar to Baby Magnum and Water Strider so it was hard to imagine all that fitting. |

So even in the scans, Oh Ho Ho is still going to be called Oh Ho Ho. The anime didn't even manage to bestow a name for her. Can't say I'm not disappointed as I was looking forward to knowing her name. Ah well. I just want to know who her seiyuu is going to be.
